Honestly shocked about the fact that you have so few subscribers, then I realised that this YT channel is really new, that brought me peace because I know that you're going to succeed if you keep putting out content with this quality. Keep up the good work, all the love from Scotland!
Thanks loads Kevin, glad you enjoyed watching. I’ll explain in a video soon but I’m re uploading all the photography videos from my main channel to make this all about landscapes. I appreciate the encouragement! 👍
I was hesitating to get either the A7R3A or the A7IV for photography, but I think I'm going to get the IV. 42 mpx is great but unless I heavily crop my images the 33mpx is more than enough! That print came out gorgeos btw!
Thank you, it's a great middle ground. There are lots of tools to increase resolution. It's not as ideal as shooting at 60mp+ but those files are sooo big.
Good shout not to go up Y Garn, but a good pull up Y Gribin mind you... How are you finding A7iV for landscape ? Flip screen option not on my D850, hence the review hunt on the Sony, cracking shot down the valley, Cheers from Anglesey
Well done, harsh conditions on the mountain but what a reward ! Small tip I heard someone on YT telling is to have an elastic band on the photobag. Attach this band to the bottom of the tripod, leave the bag on the ground and tighten the elastic to secure the tripod. This way you don't introduce movement into the tripod by a heavy bag waving about...
Hello there, just stumbling across this video, jaw dropping images! I do have a question, what exact lens were you using for these? Was it just one? Or multiple? I’m wanting to get into landscape photography with this camera, I would love recommendations for a jack of all trades
@@JonnyKeeleyPhoto thank you! Could you recommend that as a first lens for landscape photography? I can currently only afford one, and I am seeing people say 24-105 if you can only get one.
Wow, I'm so happy I stumbled upon this channel. Your photography is immaculate, that's obvious, but your videos are awesome, too! It's just somehow very peaceful to watch and I enjoy it a lot. You're certainly gonna grow a lot if you keep going! Cheers from a fellow small RUclipsr :)
I have a dumb question but i want to print only A2 , maybe ever A1 for galeries, This camera and then i’l invest in the best lenses ever? Or a Canon Eos R6 mark ii? Or canon eos R?… Hos good is the quality for hanging on your wall
I would happily use this for A2, I don't have experience with A1 but at that point you may need more pixels for professional contracted work. For personal, it'll be fine.
@@JonnyKeeleyPhoto what you recommend then? I only want pictures… video not for me But sometimes ofc, action/sports/wildlife pictures A7R IV? Nikon Z II ?
Do you miss the details when printing 42MP very large and for galleries? - I own a IV, but I'm missing my RIII's tiny details when I pixel peep. :-/ - I'm thinking about getting a second body, so I'm unsure of whether that should be an R series, so I can get that back when I need to, or another A7IV, in case I do event video work and want to streamline my post flow. Thoughts?
I only print up to A2 in there I don't have a problem personally. My opinion is that large prints are supposed to be viewed at a distance, but I'm far from a gallery pro and am easily pleased. I have heard really good things about the RV.
@@JonnyKeeleyPhoto thanks. Not sure I can afford the V right now, but yeah, I do intend to print for local galleries in the coming year (in talks). I love the colors and dynamic range of the Sony a7iv. I'm just a little worried about gallery style printing and viewing. :-/

Yup! I totally agree. I love your stuff! You being honest to pivoting your expectations based on what nature provides is refreshing to hear.

As someone that lives in SE Alaska, I'm always happy to see someone making the best of a grey overcast day 😁
Ha, yeah man. We get a lot of that here!

Thanks! yeah that's a nice idea, similar principle to how the Icelanders use elastic tow ropes.
Amazing video !
Thanks so much!
Great stuff Jonny. Best of luck with the new channel.
Thank you, I’m really looking forward to posting actual new videos.
Nice print!
Thanks Craig 🙏
Cool video, thanks! I see you're using the Zeiss 16-35mm - love the contrast on this lens. How are you finding it?
I really like it. I didn't at first, I found it too perfect and boring but now I see it for what it is, a diverse workhorse.

Hey, I’m pretty sure it was mostly the Song 16-35 f4 it’s a pretty decent mid range lense.

Thanks loads dude, that’s very kind!
Can you discuss your photo printer and process of printing your landscapes?
Sure, I’ve definitely got some opinions on it all!
Hello Jonny, great video !
What lens did you use to shoot your photo that you printed ? Thanks
Best luck !
Hey Lewis, I shot it on the Sony 16 - 35 F4. Thanks for watching!
Wow!
Thank you

@@JonnyKeeleyPhoto the A7 IV 33mp is too low maybe, right,
