So for some weird reason, I noticed, you never actually showed us the beginning of the hatching, the very first crack through... not sure exactly why... I was wondering, is it because you had to do a small cut, or because that was a personal moment you wanted to keep for yourself?
@@BooBuKittyPhuk When i noticed the first goosh of yolk I adjusted the tripod and it threw things out of frame and focus for a few seconds. slightly mad at myself but pp didnt seem to notice

So many people are so invested in the well being of these two baby geckos, and I know personally I'm so glad you're the person watching over them, your love for these little lovely creatures is infectious and so heartwarming. They couldn't be in better hands.

Im currently trying to setup a proper biactive enclosure, or heck just a regular one for my juvenile(i think) gargoyle gecko, which i have had for a couple of months, considering the fact i did not by anything but the tanks you get fro exo terraria, which just came with a fake leafy vine, coco substrate and the lamps.
Lemme just also say I love your videos. The way you speak is like radio quality voice and your humor I’m like 100% here for. It’s like ridiculously charming. I watched you singing “hey ladies” to your lesbian gecko army a million times cause it was so cute.

I have a tokay who likes crickets wayy better than the other feeders I have and refuses to eat if I feed her dubia roaches too many times in a row. Spoiled brat
My leopard gecko really likes wax worms
As soon as a wax worm is in their line of sight they eat it as soon as they can
My crestie Horus loves insect flavor Pangea, and my leopard gecko Ra loves mealworms
Watermelon or fig are usually the two big hitters here too haha! I like to mix flavors so my gecks don't get picky and only want one flavor x3 maybe try adding a little fig to the watermelon over time to get him used to it? :O

My gargs and cresties like when I mix the growth and breeding formula with the figs and insects formula lol. Picky buggers. I do feed crickets, mealworms, wax worms as well.
You know, watching this and knowing how picky new caledonian geckos can be with their goop, it occurred to me that pangea should sell a variety pack with a few servings of all of their flavors so you can see which ones your critters like and which they dont...and it turns out they already do! They call it their "Test The Rainbow" flavor sample pack. a little expensive since it's literally just one of everything they sell, but there you go.

Pu Pu's response was accurate! Watermelon is pretty great! Don't worry, Pee Pee, figs are also good. Just not my favorite by themselves. I prefer them with goat cheese and honey. You prefer them with cricket juice. 🦗🍉🦎🦎

I've been looking for months at what kind of geckos I want to keep and breed. This video convinced me to go with gargoyles.
I got mine today from a local shop and the owner told me the best way to show them were the food is stick there face in it, because they dont like stuff on there face so they will lick it off then they will realize its food. that might have been a good way to get the baby in this video to start eating to show him its food

Hey jsyk, if you leave crickets in the bin with them, you also gotta put something in there for the crickets to eat. Crickets are vicious and they'll attack your geckos if they don't have another food source :(

Reminds me so much of my own fond memories raising baby gargoyles.. i swear they loved the watermelon flavour the most out of all.. aside from that i did nearly everything like you.. tubs, feeding with the tongs, crickets mixed in between.. what a rollercoaster of nerves especially the first 1-2 months to get them up to speed/weight ;)

"Jump first and think second" I'm not sure they think *at all* when it comes to jumping
Sometimes they don't like the food mixtures if there's too much "texture" in it - if you run the Fig&Insect one through a pestle and mortar, sometimes they go for it. The Apricot has a smoother texture than the watermelon even, so that's usually accepted by those that don't like the cronch.
