Best band out of all the Seattle area bands an that's saying something with all of the great bands from that area. Layne was a truly amazing singer who had demons as powerful as his voice. Crocodile Lounge🐊 was the place to be back in day when in Seattle, had a few epic nights in that establishment.
My favorite band of all time.
I was in high school in music class when my friends broke the news. Layne Staley had died. We were actually playing Alice In Chains songs. I began crying my eyes out.
I would never be able to See Layne Staley play. He was my inspiration to become a musician. Him and Jerry Cantrell. The song “Would?” In particular. The bass guitar is so powerful.
