Ruud Jolie recording the latest Within Temptation single "Entertain You"

- Last January I recorded the latest Within Temptation song "Entertain You" in my home studio. The process was different from the 'Resist' sessions but not less entertaining (wink)
I play guitar in Within Temptation and my own projects For All We Know and the acoustic Iron Maiden band Maiden uniteD. And I'm always interested in playing with all kinds of other bands/projects/artists.

I always love these videos, most fans or followers of any band don't often realise what goes into making a song or track.....all they see and accept is the finished product.
Another great video, interesting and informative....and funny !.
I wasn't sure if I'd like the new track as it's a step away from symphonic.....but it's a bloody banger !. Dark, gritty and angry.....and I love the sentiment around the lyrics.

I live for this kind of videos. They are so interesting. I remember when before my graduation I had an internship into a recording studio of my city and I helped in editing and setting process during the recording on an Irish music album. I seriously had a blast.

That's good to know about Evertune bridge! I always thought that you can set it either to "bending mode" or regular, without affecting tuning stability o.O

Hi Ruud, a fellow Dutchman here. :) Nice video, very interesting to see whats going on behind the scenes. But about the evertune bridge; I thought it was possible to tune the guitar with the screws on the bridge and go near the end of 'zone 2' with the normal tuning screws on the headstock, so you bend and stuff without going out of tune. Correct me if I'm wrong. :) I'm thinking of buying a guitar with an Evertune bridge myself.. Keep up the good work!
Ja klopt. Ik gebruik m te weinig om m precies in te kunnen stellen. Ik vind nl dat je toch teveel in moet leveren op de sound met dat systeem. Heb me er dus te weinig in verdiept haha
