Stand me in the corner. For the past 60 years I have never worried or considered what my locos were pulling. My goal was to have as many engines and cars running at the same time as possible without crashing! My goal now is to purchase lots of vintage rolling stock, so that I can assemble proper groups of cars. I think I have more locomotives than cars! Winter is coming and so is my time downstairs in the train room! Thanks for the video.
Part of the Einheitslokomotiven at the time. Still one of the most impressive German steam locos. With the Mannesmann wagons, the entire train does eye especially imposing. We have a few BR 41s on the layout. Digitized though but you have very much inspired us to go searching for those Mannesmann wagons hahah. Thank you for this delightful upload.
1988 was the official end of steam for the Reichsbahn however they still had occasional steam pulled commuter and freight until the end of the Reichsbahn itself in 1994, which is why there are so many eisenbahn museums in east germany.
Thanks for the video. Most enjoyable as usual. I have another idea for 'child mode' - we used to pull every carriage we had behind our F800. We had 10 passenger carriages of various types and about a dozen goods cars. It could pull them all with out a problem - even at slow speed. It might be interesting to see how many of your consists the 'Mikado' can pull up the ramp 🙂
Tolle Fahrimpressionen der Br41 von deiner Anlage. 👍👍
