I lost complete respect for McMahon in 1999, when he let the show go on after Bret's brother Owen was killed while being lowered into the ring. It was then I realized the evil of Vince McMahon.

Yeah, the whole "Owen would have wanted the show to go on" nonsense. Vince just didn't want to lose any money, and he knew he'd have to refund everyone who bought a ticket or bought the PPV. I just don't understand filthy rich people being so damn greedy and unethical. If you have hundreds of millions of dollars, you can afford damn near anything you could possibly ever want, and you can easily survive some big money loses here and there.

I knew Vince McMahon was a slime ball when he swerved Stu Hart out of a million dollars and his retirement in 1984. Stu had been doing business with Vince's father, Senior, and his grandfather, Jesse, on a handshake since 1946 and Vince screwed Stu on their very first handshake deal. Stu was supposed to get $100,000/year for ten years plus 10% of the gate from all WWF events in Western Canada for the rest of his life. Vince took over Stu's dozen or so broadcasting deals with TV stations all over the West here, he took control of the arrangements Stu had with all the arena landlords in western Canada and of course Vince got Bret and the Bulldogs and eventually Neidhart (who had to finish a contract with Bill Watts first). That deal was supposed to comfortably secure Stu and Helen Hart's retirement after 40 years in the topsy-turvy business of wrestling. Stu and Helen had plans to travel the world and enjoy their time together and alone after raising 12 kids and Stu being on the road for the better part of 20 years. Today it is easy to look back and see that Vince McMahon made a sport out of screwing the Hart family.

Admittedly I didn't pay close attention to the original allegations, mainly just read some of the headlines and what I originally took it as was him using company money to have a high paid escort on staff. Ethically wrong and illegal for a public traded company but I felt that it was atleast consensual between both parties. Vince/WWE were essentially a high priced client for this escort no different than other clients they likely had. Again didn't agree with it and thought it was morally wrong but if it were two consensual adults I figured I shouldn't be that upset over it. But this was just my uniformed view and ultimately wrong view.
Now hearing how it not only wasn't consensual but was flat out refused and he still forced all these disgusting acts onto her just makes the situation and him unforgiveable. When you hear her back story about being real down on her luck at the time only for Vince to start off by playing the good guy with her only to then prey on her shows just how bad of a sexual predator and deviant he is. There is simply no defending him at this point and he should be punished to the furthest extent of the law.
It became very abusive very quickly. Vince has maaany skeletons, we all knew it really.

I don't blame Bret Hart at all. Even through all the horrible booking decisions that Vince made on WWE programming over the last decade or so, I felt like I was always had a high amount of respect for him for everything that he did for the wrestling business as a whole. I still remember that iconic rivalry between Vince McMahon & Steve Austin back in the Attitude Era that basically saved WWE from losing to WCW in the Monday Night Wars. Even his rivalry with DX back in 2006, some of my best childhood memories as a fan watching WWE. But as far as how I view Vince McMahon right now, just Bret, all the respect I've had for Vince is pretty gone. I hope that one day, karma will come for Vince & it will strike him so hard that he will never be able to recover.
here's why Vince sold WWE, he knew the shit was gonna hit the fan and he knew it was his last powerplay so he went out on his terms for the most money he could get from it and said a big fuck you to every member of the board.
Vince is no spring chicken anymore and what does he care if it all comes out now. he's got anywhere from 5 to 20 years at best left, he's like 79 in august so truly what does an almost 80 year old billionaire care what is happening. he could easily leave the country and go to a country that doesn't extradite to the US, he has connections all over the world.
