I have done hundreds of miles in the v2 and absolutely love it.Comfortable, bouncy and an absolute joy to run in on easy days and long runs.I never want to take them off!Unfortunately that magic has almost all gone with the 3.I thought I would give it another go this week on my long run but returned home and put the 2 on again after a mile!.Not sure what they have done but the shoe has just lost that amazing comfortable springy feel and to me its just an average shoe now infact it does not feel as comfortable as some of the other max cushion shoes I have.Such a shame.Have stocked up on 2's though!
2 quality is garbage compared to the 3. The foam on the 2’s comes apart in chunks and cracks easily. Which is why the 3 feels stiffer now, as they reinforced the foam due to the consumer complaints of foam quality of the 2. But once broken in, the 3’s feel just as bouncy and soft as the 2.
To me, the Invincible 2s are the greatest running shoes ever created in running history. I just don't understand why Nike would want to tamper with the King of Softness. They have lots of other models of varying firmness. When I knew that the Invincibles had been compromised I immediately went shopping for the next best. I tried the two next softest shoes - the New Balance 1080v12 and the Asics Nimbus 25. They felt like bricks. Not soft at all. Now I no longer have shoes that will satisfy me. Thanks Nike.
Yeah I loved the Invincible 2s. Hopefully they’ll take all this feedback and update a 4th version. I’ve heard good things about the New Balance Fresh Foam X More V4 and ASICS Novablast; I’ll probably get one of those next
try salomons max rides, and New balance fuel cells, ct trainers, I have the Asics Nimbus 24, and 25 and they are not max cushion runners at all they focus more on stability, and pronation, balance etc, they are good but very different.
Just did my first run in the invincible 3s the other day. Never owned any of the previous invincibles but I do agree with your review. I am feeling the firmness and responsiveness. Feels really stable as well which is what I think I need personally. No heel slip either with the runner's loop. Great review and safe to say I am an Invincible 3 fan!
Seems to me Nike has plenty of shoes designed for speed. They don't have plenty of shoes that are soft or squishy. They didn't need to do this. But it is what it is
Hi thx SO much for this i just got me sum invincable 2's at a great price from the local Nike store but ALSO would love to try out those others eventually as well that u mentioned cuz i LOVE the "hyper cushioning feel" as well THIS WAS GREAT THX
In all fairness, (and I don't doubt the the V2 is better) you ran your first 4 miles in the V2 while your legs were fresh. Your last 4 miles that you ran with the V3 were on more tired legs. Wouldn't that make a bit of a difference?
I’ve never run any of the invincibles before but purchased the invincible 2’s to start running in after an Achilles tendon surgery. I wanted good cushion to support my feet and keep them comfortable. Heel slip is a common problem with me as I have very narrow feet so that, plus the sale price, led me to grab some invincible 2’s instead of the 3’s a couple of weeks ago. I’m 5 runs in and so far they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever run in.
The nimbus 25 have been to me the most comfortable of all ,, and i have 2 of the invincible #2s,,nimbus 25 are #1 to me and i work walking all day 9hrs....
I'd like Nike to go back to the Invincible 2 design for the Invincible 4 with perhaps a lighter upper but NOT the 3's heel counter design. I have both. I much prefer the softer feel of the 2 off the ground, no heel lockdown problems and the 2 is a lighter shoe than the 3! I'm very disappointed that the Invincible 3 is a worse shoe than the Invincible 2! I'm actually looking around for an alternative shoe to the Invincible and I've had 3 pairs of Invincibles!
New Balance Ct Trainers and fuel cell is probably the answer., I have some Asics Nimbus 24, and 25s but they feel stiffer and more stable, but less squishy than my Invincible 2s, i love them all because they are different, but New Balance and perhaps Salomons are the way to go for max cushion rides. Good Luck.
I feel that the Invincible 2s are comfortable for walking at a purposeful pace. But I feel uncomfortable when I'm just standing around in them. I keep feeling the need to adjust my balance. At or above a moderate walking pace and they are the best shoes of all.
You mentioned other shoes, I'm a huge New Balance fanboy. Although I don't use maximum cushion shoes, I've seen numerous reviews on the New Balance 1080 better all pretty positive. My daily training shoe is the 880, a regular neutral cushion running shoe. At least for me I see no need to have a super cushioned shoe when the regular cushion shoe does the job just fine. Plus I have to use custom orthotics, so I have that little extra layer as well.
Thanks for watching! I’ll be very curious to see what Nike does with the V4; typically they go in two year cycles before making bigger changes. I’d almost expect some tweaks to the upper (and add some padding to the heal), but I don’t think they’ll be drastically different based on previous updates
Can you be comfortable walking long miles? Like 10 miles a day with the shoes? Just curious I have foot injuries with rods and screws and I am looking for the most comfortable shoe.
Personally I think so. I use my old pairs for waking and they are fine. Some people like a little more stability for waking, as there’s a lot of foam that takes some getting used to. But they’re really comfortable
5:10 but you're doing it for the views 🙂... I think this call is for getting like half a dozen pairs of the shoes, and a band saw 😎. In addition to expanding your RUclips audience, this could be the first step in having a machine shop in your garage 😀😄.
This was my impression almost exactly, although you’re far more generous with the 3s. Halfway through my first run all I could think about was getting them off. I loved the 2s and was super excited about the 3s but the ride is nowhere near the same to me. Never thought I’d say this but I’ll be looking at other brands.
Dude im the same way literally! My wife says your spending so much money on sneakers. Lol im into different brands as well new balance , brooks, asics and hoka. and last adidas .I do have the nike invincible 2 i think ill wait until the price drops a lil on the 3.
@@FreshBrewRunClub I do not have the V4, but have alternated between the Invincible 2 (350 Miles) and have been wearing the V3 now. (Only have about 100 miles in them) I like them, but the are a little more firm than the Nike’s. Just wondered how they compared to the Invincible 3. Thanks for the videos. look forward to your thoughts.
@@ChirsRichardson10 The more V4 out of the box looks firmer. After a few miles is softer than the invincible 2!! Less energy return, but the rocker geometry does a pretty good job.
Every reviewer on RUclips has said the same, heel slipping. So my question is and it’s not for you, but rather Nike. Why couldn’t they have fixed this problem? Are they that incompetent to fix that in the test trials faces. *if they even did a test trial’s. I’m not going to get them, the heel is very important aspect of running, that’s where all you’re power comes from when you’re pushing forwards. This 3rd version is essentially defective and anyone buying this shoe is buying a defective shoe from the start. Nike should be recalling the 3 and fixing the problem, don’t leave it to the 4th version to fix this.
It’s not that bad in my opinion. Now, every runner’s stride is different and it impacts people differently, but I just adjusted how I tied the shoes and the issue went away. My issue with the 3s is how they feel more firm compared to the 2s. It’s a departure from what made them great.

Me too re stocking up on 2s!

Agreed 100%
Is there anything more comfortable ,springy, cushioned then the nikes invincible 2s out there ?

How about the NB FuelCell SuperComp?
Don't have one but it has great feedback.

Yeah their carbon fiber plates shoes seem to be getting the most attention in the Nike line. Feels like there’s less for an average runner like me

I just got an invincible 2 for $127 CAD=USD $90, women size 10 which is the same as mens size 8.5. Can’t wait to try them on.
That’s a great deal!
Where?

Maybe a little, but I wasn’t running super fast. I think the firmness of the V3 is clear no matter my leg fatigue.
I do have to say I do like the Dequindre Cut you are running on.

These are the most comfortable pair of nike shoes I own, whether it is running or everyday casual, it looks very good, I love this pair of shoes
Just got invincible 2, it does feel that soft but if I heal strike or walk purposely it does feel lush
Where did you buy?

Invincible 2 are they good for normal use every day i have lot off shoes but looking to buy this one also. Do you recommend it
I don’t mind them for every day use but I know some people prefer less cushion for just walking around.

I really like what New Balance is doing; when I’m ready for new shoes, I’ll probably try them

Yeah it’s not quite the same shoe as the V2. I’ve started to like the V3 with more miles, but the difference is pretty big
I’ve enjoyed the New Balance More V4 and I’ll probably get the Nimbus 25
3 is more narrow in toe box for me compared to ver 2
Yep
For casual and lifestyle wear which is better 2 or 3?
I prefer the 2 for casual wear. More comfortable all around
Got Invincible 2's for 70 at the outlet clearance.
Great deal!!!
Used to hate running until i tried v2
I believe it!

Every sneaker has a very specific and important purpose! I'm sure we'll see the Invincible 3 drop in price soon
I can’t find any 2s for sale in the uk, can some1 help
Check out StockX
Have you tried The New Balance More V3 or V4?
Not yet, but the More V4 is likely the next show I’ll buy when I hit my mileage in my remaining invincibles. Do you like them?

I think in this case Nike ignored the negative feedback of wear-testers. The Invincible 3 LOOKS nicer than the 2 but looks are only skin deep.
Very disappointed in the 3’s. Hopefully Nike brings back the 2’a with an actual flynit upper for the 4’s.
I feel like the 1 and 2 didn’t really have true flyknit. I’d love to see a version that leans all the way into breathability and use Atomknit instead
Shoes directly on car seats? Damn man 😂
A little dirt is the least of my car cleanliness worries haha
0:09 so you averaged a Nike Invincible 2.5 😀... Thank you thank you I'm here all week, be sure to tip your waitress 😎.
😂 😂 😂
3 is basically Nikes UB21 😆
Interesting. I have the UB 3.0s, but I never considered them to be a running shoe.
invinble zoomX legacy ends here 😢
The ZoomX is great in the Alphaflys
