- The AK-74 is among the most common weapons you will get your hands on while playing Escape From Tarkov, so it is important to get a sense of what attachments are available to improve the rifle's performance. In this video, I go over the available attachments in the 0.11.7 patch suggest some best-in-slot options as well as parts that offer great performance at low cost.

These guides are definitely some of if not the best tarkov guides out there
For the CHEAPEST build, just take your stock AK, remove a gastube and a factory handguard, sell it to Skier and buy from him an Ultimak railed gastube+handguard for the same 2k roubles that's you just gained from selling factory tube and handguard. Boom! A free short rail for a reflex sight. But for whatever reason, can't put a Cobra or "nipple" OKP-7 on it. But still, a free rail with a minor ergo and recoil boost. You can just keep it empty until you find a reflex sight in-raid to save THE WHOLE ONE SLOT in your scav vest!
AND NOW NOT A SINGLE ASSHOLE CAN CALL YOU A GEAR-FEARED HOBO, SINCE YOU'RE TAKING A LEGITIMATE MODIFIED ASSAULT RIFLE IN EVERY YOUR RAID
Good tip, I'll use that method. I have better luck with Russian weapons for some reason anyway.

What about the Armacon Baskak Stock? Is it just one of those attachments nobody uses because its so bad?
Also there's a little cheese trick you can do with the TRAX-1 & 2 with the bridge attachment, it's one slot altogether and you can put it in your secure container. With the right set-up you can easily mount 14-15 different attachments for one slot. I put a few ring mounts on it to give me flexibility in what tactical devices I can mount but I can easily put on a grip and two sights on it, plus 12-13 flashlights or lasers.

Like... I know currently there's some issues with FOV and most of the sights, the PK-06 and MRS be the most effected among many others
@@BloodDraco122 How do you attach 12-13 flashlights? im using it and can only hold 1 sight, 1 foregrip and 6 flashlights, could you explain?
@@marcuran5709 To answer your question I think they may have nerfed it or I got the number wrong, eitherway it's still a silly amount of attachments.
I used Viktor CASV keymod rails and sometimes put 25mm ring mounts to give diversity in what attachments I could stash. I counted around 11-12 attachments with the CASV keymods, thats 1 sight, 1 grip and a mix of tacticals and flashlights

You forgot to mention the AK-12 Pistol Grip that works with all the AKs, is dirt cheap, gives +7 ergo and looks cool

A quick reference guide for people who dont know what the letters in the ak names mean (Not talking 100 series)
N = Side mount
S = Folding stock
U = Short barrel
B = Suppressor
M = Modernized (This is not referring to the akm types)
You can use this for when you struggle between 2 ak's on dead bodies but you can only carry one "Should i take the one with the side mount or the plain one that doesnt include a side mount?"
Thanks for a few pointers that still helped in 2020. I couldn't find a couple parts, namely the cobra mount from "whoever", I think you changed it at least twice in your video who sells it at level 1 or level 2- which sucks, because I only have access to level 2 traders, and hate the flea market, and I can't find the cobra mount :/ I want to attach a laser/flashlight to my ak.
How do you attach the laxer sight tho? What type is rail or side rail to I need to attach it to the gun? I’m using the the hand guard thingy from your first build you showed with the tan laxer or flash, what side rail did you use ?
Depends on the handguard, right click and select linked search to see what rails work with it

in real life i have a full zenitco build Russian saiga ak74m and the inaccuracies of ak accessories in the price and quality tiers drives me insane l FAB being better than zenitco smh...haha

The Zhukov stock is actually supposed to be able to fold, except to the right side vs the typical left side fold. I'm assuming it's a bug in the game right now.

Jdog can we expect an AKM series guide soon? I really love the 7.62 AK's especially with the 73 mags, they're just a lot of fun. Would be cool if something like that is in the works.

btw. never forget good Ammo... so in the 5.45x39 category you want to use BS or Igolnik ammo (just in case the opponent runs thicc armor) and in the 7.62x39 you take some BP ammo with you.
If you use the very special 5.45x45 ammo type try to use the M995. Those rounds have good Armor penetration and if you aim for the head it all should go well.... should
I disagree. Any ammo starting with B does the job expect against gen4+

for some reason, I HATE ak side rail. it looks ugly, cant fold ur stock while you have a something attached on the rail
Well, you CAN fold your stock, the only issue is that the stock is clipping through a sight, but since you fold a stock only to save the space in the inventory, it's not a big deal.
AK-74M is my go to "assault rifle"

Man, i wish traders were more relevant, its so easy to just buy whatever the hell you need from the flea market now. I think next reset im gonna not use it at all because the game feels too pointless if you use it.
TBH I would rather have the ability to over-pay to make the gun I want. There is still very relevant reasons to level the traders... to avoid paying 10-100% more for the items you want, because people are ripping you off on the Flea Market. Also, level traders to MAKE MONEY on the flea market. Tons of reasons.
