PVE mode really is a shell of what SPT has been for a good few years now. If you get bored with PVE, you should give SPT a shot. Mods take the game to a whole new level.
I've played spt since it's inception. PvE is lightyears better in every single way except ai behavior w sain/swag/donuts but hopefully wipe will fix that and make spt completely obsolete. It was nice having spt before PvE and I'm grateful for the folks that gave it to us before we had the real deal.
@@DNeeds In what way is it better? PVE is essentially just SPT without mods. I guess you could argue for the sake of Streets being hosted on BSG servers making it a little more performant, but that comes with the queue time trade-off.
@@jehreetv I agree. SPT is currently slightly superior to PvE. But I think when/if they fix the 100% boss spawns, and AI not fighting each other, it will edge out SPT.

I LOVE PVE TARKOV! I have a life (gym every day, work, kids and wife) plus my own home to take care of and pay taxes on. I just log on after I put the kids to bed and run one raid and go to sleep. It’s perfect and I don’t have to worry about my night being ruined by some dude who thinks he’s rat king of some dude with a 99% survival rate and 100% headshot rate lol.
PvE is a blast! The homies who never got into Tarkov are into it now. Gone are the chads and cheaters ruining our time. Can’t wait for them to iron it out.
I wish people would keep BSG accountable for what happened, but everyone is too addicted to the game it's so sad... glad you are doing well though Pest you deserve the success
It doesn't have the cheating or people hiding in the bushes, but it's wayyyy easier than pvp Tarkov. My survival rate is 85%, and I don't know half of the game still. When I played pvp, it was around 50%.
@@Robocop4Ever Yeah, but think about it... for the normies, the average people, that is actually appealing. During a normal wipe, most players don't make level 40.
@@MrPcashmoney If BSG is smart and plays things right with the mod support, it could get extremely close. The AI overhauls that some of the guys in the SPT community have done are fantastic, and can really make you sweat even if you're an experienced player.
@@ugrena7419 I think AI will always fall behind that feeling of fighting a real person. Total unpredictability. Uncheesable. But what some of the modders have done is really impressive. I think PvE has a bright future, I just don’t think we need to pretend it has that same challenge.
Just got this game two days ago, did a bunch of interchange and enjoyed it. Tried Ground Zero to learn it. 19 Scav kills later and finally died. I was way under geared and didn't have enough ammo. Had to keep switching guns and trying to move, but I had no knowledge of the map so was stuck wandering around until I ran out of meds, food, and ammo... Seems I also need this map to do a quest for the gunner turrets, but I need a break from this map as that seems to happen everytime I play this map. I really like the layout of this map though, I think more than Interchange. Just very overwhelming at times for a new player.
I’ve got a 7800x3d with a 7900xtx and I get 144fps on every map except Streets, there I get between 100-130fps. That’s for PvE and PvP, that’s crazy to me. Glad I made the switch in the recent upgrade!! I couldn’t be happier, used to get 60fps on every map with a 4080ti in PvP....
I know you can't show it, but SPT is so much better because you can tune the difficulty of the AI as well as the amount of loot to make a punishing experience. I got into it when there were so many cheaters that I wanted to quit playing Tarkov and haven't looked back since.
Smooth running. I reckon it'll be a great way for people to get used to how the guns feel and where they need to go on maps before stepping into pvp (for those who aren't born chads). Only problem will be unlearning bad habits that pvp punishes where the ai doesn't.
I hope to see the AI PMC's do tasks and do quest routes according to their level. it would help keep them more random and unpredictable. Its not like BSG has the playing info to help program the PMC's to act like real PMC's
Im an average player. I cant handle 2-3 pmc coming to big red every 2 mins and every min a group of scavs spawning. Is thier something i need to do? Are they going to mqke roaming more realistic?
the goons on shoreline auto target you asoon as you spawn and shrturmans guards air burst grenades in my face and they're silent and can do it while running.
I once had 47 kills on streets of tarkov. I was constantly fighting and I couldn't even get quests done. I think the scavs auto seeking you could be turned down.
I played PVE tarkov for about 8 hours now and just finished those first 4 missions... I died 25 times and it took me forever to find the ways out of the map. I have no clue how people find these things without looking it up? I'm perpetually lost wandering around with random loot just fighting until I run out of ammo. I'm down to 50K money left i've died so much, imagine if I played PVP? oof
The learning curve is extreme in this game. I usually have a map open on my phone or second monitor. you have to play a map at least 50 times to be familiar with it and even then you won't know every scav spawn/loot location
0:01 "How hard is PVE?" To summarize it in my experience, hard and frustrating needlessly. Scav's spawn around and on you almost 24:7. Everytime you stop to repack mags or heal limbs half a dozen scavs start spawning on you and often wait around the corner where your hiding. AI PMC's are just dumb scavs with aimbot and no recoil, they're a lot like fighting rogues. And, they don't have any normal PMC behaviors other than maybe picking up gear off a body. The PMC's often don't fight each over, and often team up with bosses. While I love PVE, I feel like Cheaters got replaced with cheating AI PMC's, and non-stop swarms of Scavs. The only good thing about it is there's not a real person killing me and stealing the loot from the entire map.
I’m loving it, more successes than failures. I’ve still been rocked by scavs swarming in on me though. But since I got around the learning curve it’s been pretty smooth. I love not having to worry about goochblaster69 camping exfil to shit on my day for no reason 😂 I can go in with my buddy, stack scavs and rogues, get decent loot and dip. Huge difference from our second match in the normal PVP tarkov. We were lost and confused, got some loot at dorms and were running to exfil and he got domed by someone camping the exfil. I called it quits there despite having the edge of darkness edition, just sat on it hoping maybe someday it would get PVE and here we are. I had no problem dropping the $65 to upgrade to unheard edition and have been loving it ever since.
After BSG wrecked the Asian server routing, SPT is the only way I can realistically play this game. Using the suite of mods that add more spawn points, give AI personalities, make AI loot and do quests; all of these together simulate a decent enough online experience with zero ping and desync. Tarkov honestly feels very good to play when you aren't on latency and would work quite well as single player offshoot someday. I would support the game with PvE but apparently the game will still try to connect to BSG servers for the heavier maps, which is a no go for me. As someone with a beefy PC I would like the option to run those maps locally as well before I consider PvE as a viable option.
Honestly pve is how i would play tarkov all the time! Currently on ps5, but so tempted to get a pc again. Wanna play tarkov, scum, quite a few pc games i want to play. Altho scum is coming to ps5 ive heard!
I went from a xbox s and ps5 to a gaming laptop. I highly reccomend it man. PC games are just miles better. Just bought Tarkov now, if you get one im dow nto run tarkov and other games similair to scum with you.
Meanwhile I've been playing PvE for years on SPT lmao. And it has even more QoL features. I love how jazzed Pest is about the icon for hideout items. Meanwhile SPT has had that for forever.
As someone who is looking to get into tarkov but not knowing pretty much anything about it. Should I play pve first? Also how does it work? Are they two separate games or is pve a dlc for the main game?
First of all, thank you for doing a longer run of this. It’s entertaining to me because I have solely played SPT and now co-op Fika game modes instead of playing PVP. with this longer series, it’s more interesting as well to see how the updates to it. Make the gameplay change you keep the series going as they change things in the overall portion
I am loving the PvE, but the constant swarming is a bit annoying; I didnt feel that in PvP when I last played. Also it seems every Rouge PMC's I run into are always in groups of 3-4s. Do you find solo PMCs?
I thought it was stupid easy like most did at first, but as you play on, the scavs are either really cracked or the dumbest bots you'll ever encounter. The PMCs are like baby rogues with pretty much cracked aim and unpredictable movement patterns. I will say something I noticed with the armor, It doesn't seem like it matters all that much if any against AI. Hardly does anything even with lvl 6 plates all around.
Coop is hosted on dedicated servers hosted by Battlestate. You are not hosting a server. The logic is not happening locally unless you are playing "offline" (im less confident about that one, but since no progress is tracked there is no risk in letting offline be hosted on yuor machine. Framerate is likely MUCH better because its not having to keep track of what other PLAYERS are doing and move that data around to each player connected. Bots also do less silly shit that COULD cause server latency
i have the 40 dollars version and honestly having actual fun upgrading my my stash and stuff in pve i have a real feeling of progression and stuff sure there are some things to adjust but i'm enjoyin it
Things that need to happen with AI PMC, the need to have gear that matches their level. At level 5, I don't have access to 300 blackout. They shouldn't either.
I played PVP a few years back and it was full of cheaters, I got back into the game recently and PVE *can* be difficult in certain situations but it is much more relaxed and you can kinda focus more on the story and take your time doing tasks. Most of the upstairs on Ground Zero, nothing spawns and nothing will follow you up there. Dorms is always hot like in PVP but mostly because you can look through the door and watch the scavs spawn and PMC's will come from behind you. Dorms is never free of scavs lmao. But you'll walk out with lots of xp after killing 30-40 of them lol
It would be really cool if you put in the description the missions you are working on. So we can see "oh he's working on shooter on customs" and see what your doing.

Ive only just starting playing EFT moving over from console at 36! M&K is a learning curve!! This PvE is a god send! I can learn the maps at my own pace and have fun being a timmy whilst playing. Dont get me wrong i get shit on by bots a LOT beaming me from miles away! but im enjoying learning!
I LOVE PVE TARKOV! I have a life (gym every day, work, kids and wife) plus my own home to take care of and pay taxes on. I just log on after I put the kids to bed and run one raid and go to sleep. It’s perfect and I don’t have to worry about my night being ruined by some dude who thinks he’s rat king of some dude with a 99% survival rate and 100% headshot rate lol.
hearing all these "imagine this" moments makes me glad that i can use spt to make the ai do those things
Loving the visual quality of life editing improvements 👌
PvE is a blast! The homies who never got into Tarkov are into it now. Gone are the chads and cheaters ruining our time. Can’t wait for them to iron it out.
Editor was absolutely cooking with that intro!
SPT is way more interesting imo cause u can add mods and set up everything (SAIN's mods are huge)
New here, but what’s SPT?
@@BorderlessZeus Single Player Tarkov. Its Tarkov PVE but "unofficial", u can customize everything by adding mods.
Intro is legit, as usual!
I wish people would keep BSG accountable for what happened, but everyone is too addicted to the game it's so sad... glad you are doing well though Pest you deserve the success
Thabks Dad for starting this I think I will start up the PVE since I only made it to level 10
At last! After escaped from Tarkov 5 years ago, I can finally come back
Interesting to see you participating in what could very well be the end of the "main game". All the challenge and none of the cheating.
It really doesn’t have all of the challenge.
Very similar to my SPT experience
I’ve got a 7800x3d with a 7900xtx and I get 144fps on every map except Streets, there I get between 100-130fps. That’s for PvE and PvP, that’s crazy to me. Glad I made the switch in the recent upgrade!! I couldn’t be happier, used to get 60fps on every map with a 4080ti in PvP....
bruh i got 4080s and 7800x3d and i only get 70-80 fps on lighthouse.
i can see the 1 raid a day thing change in the future, im calling it now
Anyone got the music that play around 32:30?
I know you can't show it, but SPT is so much better because you can tune the difficulty of the AI as well as the amount of loot to make a punishing experience. I got into it when there were so many cheaters that I wanted to quit playing Tarkov and haven't looked back since.
blue collar tarkov is awesome
Smooth running. I reckon it'll be a great way for people to get used to how the guns feel and where they need to go on maps before stepping into pvp (for those who aren't born chads).
Only problem will be unlearning bad habits that pvp punishes where the ai doesn't.
w video man keep up the good work
i call PVE "Tarkov with Confidence"
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming 🐟
not grabbing the noodles made me so sad lmao, i had such a harsh time for no reason getting them
SPT is way harder and better in my opinion, but it does have some money exploits that you can use, so just dont use those.
I would say pve is just easier as you know there is no other guys all around and that makes you feel comfortable
At 7:15 how do you zoom in like that???
i cant tell if ur being serious, thats his editing
I hope to see the AI PMC's do tasks and do quest routes according to their level. it would help keep them more random and unpredictable. Its not like BSG has the playing info to help program the PMC's to act like real PMC's
Im an average player. I cant handle 2-3 pmc coming to big red every 2 mins and every min a group of scavs spawning. Is thier something i need to do? Are they going to mqke roaming more realistic?
SPT will solve your issues. Customize the AI to your liking.
Bro is playing a totally different game than me lol. I’m just happy to survive the raid let alone having a plan.
i know you won't do a series on it, but if you like pve spt brings it to a totally different level with the mods
the goons on shoreline auto target you asoon as you spawn and shrturmans guards air burst grenades in my face and they're silent and can do it while running.
a lot of the things you want like pmcs unlocking doors and completing their owns quests and stuff can be gotten with mods! and the mods work well
I might be insane but I swear there's a point where you hit like lvl20 and all the AI become John Wick
pve is such a good addition to the game
Anyone have any tips for Shooter born on PVE? Have all the maps but lighthouse complete, but can't seem to find PMC's anywhere.
I killed all mine at water treatment plant, i did it in 2 raids last night. Mainly BEAR's it seemed.
Night raids with thermals. Works like a charm!
that house below chaelt PMCS spawn in the parking lot and all along the road. Plus in the village towards the main road
is there separate servers or playthrough for pvp and pve?
how did he start with so much gear?
He bought a more expensive edition of the game. It starts you with more shit and more stash slots.
I'm down to 50K money left i've died so much, imagine if I played PVP? oof
Most people don't really do it without a dynamic map unless they are familiar with the quests from earlier wipes
The learning curve is extreme in this game.
I usually have a map open on my phone or second monitor. you have to play a map at least 50 times to be familiar with it and even then you won't know every scav spawn/loot location
The zoom in when he aims down sight is a great addition!
SPT is the real PvE experience. I'd actually watch these then
scavs team up with PMCs and then you meet the goons hahaha Tarkov PVE can be insane.
0:01 "How hard is PVE?"
To summarize it in my experience, hard and frustrating needlessly.
The only good thing about it is there's not a real person killing me and stealing the loot from the entire map.
yep.. SPTARKOV is the better way to play solo PVE
My first PVE rain on woods I found a ledx at usec camp aha
I've seen plenty of solo pmcs... every raid is different.
Why did/ how did you throw your backpack like that before pushing the PMC? Was it to decrease your weight and be quicker?
Bots also do less silly shit that COULD cause server latency
you not looting the noodles kills me
i wonder if pve mode is better or if sptarkov is still king
amazing intro as always narpha
Your eye sight is on point man
i have the 40 dollars version and honestly having actual fun upgrading my my stash and stuff in pve i have a real feeling of progression and stuff sure there are some things to adjust but i'm enjoyin it
Things that need to happen with AI PMC, the need to have gear that matches their level.
For me it feels very easy until like level 20ish then there's a bit of a difficulty bump and again around 50. But that's just how I felt
I got glasses and I am playing again. I wasn't aware I was blind and was raging cause I was getting killed outta nowhere. LMAO I see them now.
