I realize now that I was wrong when I said that the RPK had a higher fire rate than the AK-74. As it turns out I was looking at the fire rate of the AKM. oops

a special species evoluted from watching too much general sam's videos and become the most hated species in tarkov, *the extract camper*
i was going to say the same thing that would be badass with the progression from human target practice to silent and unnoticeable
As with every ecosystem mutations occur, these organisms are the "extract campers" a collective of indiciduals shunned and looked down upon by all the other species. Their strategies are based upon the ambushing of other species, for this reason a popular weapon used by these individuals is the ks-23 shotgun often acompanied by the scarce Star ammonuition..

@@jacobchevalier1909It's only *technically* a hybrid. The only thing AK about the CMMG Mutant is that it uses 7.62×39 and it takes AK mags. Nothing else about it is based off AK rifles.
Please do a pistol-user video. I've seen a surprising amount of players go from running shit like a PM and TT-33 hoping to get lucky and pick up a primary weapon, to running shit like the SR-1MP and the Five-Seven as their primaries and high-tier armor and actually end up killing people with rifles and shit... the 9x21 AP cartridge actually hits like a rifle round, it's absurd. If SMG users and AK users are like the jaguars/cheetahs and lions of the Tarkov world, the high-tier pistol users are like a rare species of venomous snakes... striking from bushes and other dark recesses. Otherwise, this Tarkov series brings me life. Keep it up!

The AK platform is perfect in it’s crude simplicity. It’s both one of the ugliest and one of the most beautiful firearms ever created. Ubiquitous and classic. Outdated and endearing. How can you not love a $75 dollar rifle that can go toe to toe w/ a $4000 rifle after you dig it out of a hole in some 3rd world country 😍

16:15 that one's a hybrid. They're not easily spotted, they often appear a lot like a normal Kalashnichad examples but closer inspection reveals carrying 60 round mags in the hidden cavities on its body.
Seeing a new one of these videos always makes me happy. Great job! (Even though the actual "facts" are dubious. e.g. anybody using a modded AKS-74U or BS ammo being "common". And if you find somebody who uses a AKS-74U with a 60-round mag full of BS ammo, call a doctor: they are having a stroke.)

There is another form of AK User. Similar to the mag drum PM, it is an inexplicable and nonviable evolution that somehow persists anyway.
This particular AK User has, for whatever reason, chosen to use only the VPO-209. While the young of this strain will use an unmodified model, the older specimens seem to modify it in much the same way as the 5.56 AK. High capacity magazines, heavy recoil reduction, suppressors, and AP rounds.
Despite the upgrades the Weird Strain will employ, the inherent lack of armor penetration and single fire lock on the VPO prevent them from ever truly threatening Chads.
Still, any creature willing to devote themselves so fully to a subpar weapon should be feared, for surviving Tarkov in such a way displays a deeper level of cunning behind the bizarre behavior.
I don't play this game, but every time I see an AK47 from this game I can't stop thinking "I'm the captain now"

the AKS is my bread and butter for now since i just started playing tarkov and noticed that no one takes the AKS so i usually run it with ps ammo since i don't have a solid supply of BP ammo and to be honest, it helped me survive and actually stand a chance in fights.

This video inspired me to use an AK, so I grabbed an AK-74M and went into woods with Tier 4 Armor and BP Ammo, I then killed a Giga Chad with a hexgrid, Fast MT, Mutant, and a loaded backpack of other stuff, I earned 923k from that run, thanks Leviticus!
