- Why are your tires turning brown? I don't go mudding and I haven't rolled over poop on the road. So what's going on? I'm going to explain to you why your tires are turning brown and how to fix it.

This is very helpful. My tires does this all the time and good to know wht causes it.
You failed to mention that the super clean degreaser will discolor black or dark colored rims if left on for more than a few minutes! If you use this method it needs to be rinsed immediately. And it still might etch black rims. Use caution.
Good vid mate. Woulda been nice to see a better finshed result . But i Like the way u went step by step and explained product to.
Great video worked perfectly
Another fun and helpful tip, thanks!
It works just as he says! I will say I did buy the pre-mixed bottle, not the gallon of concentrate. Lack of storage space. It did work well. I did not buy the "foaming" version. My tires look GREAT!
Thank you so much !
It diminished the browning, but the after shot still shows a pretty significant brown tint. Better choices would be Oberk tire cleaner or Shinesupply Wise Guy.
I used dawn powerwash and it got all the brown stuff and even tire shine off without even having to touch it
I used the same stuff but even stained my tires more brown ..
Just be careful with dawn on tire. It'll greatly accelerate dry rot.
Very curious so pleez do a follow up with results after a month or 2 of use... Dawn iz gonna be in ALL tool bagz soon!!!
Dawn dish soap?
what is that green bottle spraying water tthat you are using >
Superclean will dull the finish of the wheel. Work great on tires but too harsh for clear coated wheels. Sorry.
The black part is the the tire, And the center is the wheel. Good Tip.
😂
Where is the link for super clean 😩
Just added the link
So the tire is the rubber part? Thanks!!
I suggest you try turtle wax tyre cleaner
just used that, and it sucks ass. brown is still there after 4 rounds of scrubbing
U Need Armour all ceramic cleaner... Spray on, no wipe, tire clean non-wet look, but not dull dry either...
Must be from Georgia
If I see a set of used tires with blooming should I avoid? I have heard you can never truly remove this stuff.
Just bought a set of tires with this brown moldy stuff on em. Scrubbed them w a stiff nylon brush and chemical guys soap. There is still a ton of brown gunk between the sidewall treads since theyre big MT's. Im going to try purple power and a skinny brush next
Use Meguiairs tire gel after you clean some of the brown off
It could be brake material and rust and oil from road
I love superclean - but don't tell my wife
I would call this a nice half-assed cleaning.
I’ve actually always been told the browning is due to brake dust not the tire if you get a soft compound of brake pads they will wear out faster and create the browning. If you own a vehicle that has drum brakes in the rear and disc brakes in the front you will notice the rear drum brakes do not put off the brake dust and the rear tires will not have any browning at all
Not true
@@manuelpiston Very true
Some of it is, but the majority of the orange/brown on the tires is exactly as he said. It is blooming and is caused by the anti-ozonant compound/wax that is part of the mfg process that protects your tires from cracking in the sun. It is like sunscreen and it will continuously work itself to the surface throughout the life of your tires. The best way to control it is regular scrubbing and use tire dressing. It is endless and inevitable unfortunately. Now for brake dust the color usually presents itself on the rims and some on the tires but that’s not what is seen in this video and isn’t the problem of concern like antiozonant is.
@@bigcitybrom Completely the opposite rob the blooming is very light the brake dust is the majority think of it like this look at the rims themselves browning, that is not blooming coming off the tires blooming is nothing a small fraction not enough to look like what’s pictured it’s the brake dust. That same layer of browning on your rims and a also on the entire tires it doesn’t stop at the edge of a rim take a look at the back wheels of a car with drum brakes and compare it to the front disc brakes it will be a night and day difference if you want the browning to go away change to a harder compound brake pad
You are fake news
??? looks the same to me....
Get a proper hose man lol...all that great cleaning and scrubbing done with the spray and brush and you have a light trickle hosing it off.
just use a pressure washer
Helps but not completely
Doesn't work. tires were completely brown and washing didnt remove it. Had to use chemicals
No thumbs up... Not clean, bro!
Agree
Bad results. The whole point of this video is for good results. Waste of time.
That doesn’t look like browning. It looks like 100% American Red/clay dirt. Or in other words, it’s just plain old red mud tire that seems to be everywhere.
What a waste of almost 8 minutes of my time...
