    A brave production Guru! We all have differing tastes as to the final look! My go to is to clean with Geyon tire and dress with Highstyle. Great finish with good durability. TFR and Perl is also megga cost effective and you can dilute the perl to your shine taste. Its all about getting the tyre clean in the first place as you rightly point out. Also a big fan of KK Tyresol if the customer is a gloss freak! More content please! Still after all this time the best real world detail channel. Wordwide!

    Turtle Wax Hyper Foam Wheel Cleaner & Tyre Prep, I found the general clean was as good as anything else I have tried, removing loads of the 5 months of brake dust! There was a brightening effect on the alloy, and the tyre seemed clean after a couple of applications. The foaming agents are MENTAL! Economy-wise things could be better as it is a ready to use product and doesn't go that far, using nearly half a bottle of the Hyper Foam on 4 wheels and tyres.
    Graphene Acrylic Tyre Shine, I'm still a HUGE graphene cynic, even after using this, longevity-wise I can't yet pass judgement. Application was a simple spray - leave - buff, smells of Pineapple 🍍. Two coats and it seems to be doing well a week later.

    • @derek723
      @derek723 2 года назад +1

      Agreed. Any ready to use product that comes with a foaming trigger gives you immediate concern. Maybe Turtle Wax knows their average customer cleans their wheels maybe once every few months, so this application makes more sense business wise? Not sure

    Here's a tip which I've yet to see anyone do. Get (4) 1' pieces of 2x4 or 2x6 and put them under (behind) your tires, slightly toward the inside of the tire. Back your car up onto them so that your tires have a 1.5" gap under them. Then you can wash all the way around the tire and you don't wind up with the little flat spot at the bottom that never gets scrubbed or treated with tire shine. Or if you have the time - just take off each wheel and do it the right way. :) Nice Video!
