I've had my 351pd for over 10 years now, I love the 22 mag round . Gold Dots and Critical Defense are good performers . It's a fun plinker and rides in my pocket daily. At about 10,000 rounds it needed some work , back to flawless again .
@@078249 I am trying to buy a 351 PD, easier said than done. I prefer the 351 PD because you can shoot it either in Single Action or Double Action. To get around the problem of the Hammer getting caught on something, I plan on having the Hammer Bobbed just enough that I can still pull it for Single Action use. BTW, I'll also use a Crimson Trace Slight to improve overall accuracy from all Shooting Positions! IMO, this will transform the 22 Max into a much more Lethal weapon.

Nice shooting! I am one of those skeptics of the 22 mag in a pistol. Mainly because of tests performed back in the 90s. Your recent tests have changed my mind. I think I should have one of these😁
The Gold Dots are a very reliable expanding bullet out of these revolvers . I've found they expand to about .38 caliber . If you don't have a 22 mag revolver you are missing out on a lot of fun .
My wife has the 43c. It has been reliable-- and super, super easy to conceal carry -- for many years; shoots great. I might get the 22 mag for myself. Great video, as always, Buffalo.
Thanks for another great video. I am a peace officer in Texas and I carry a NAA Pug in my pocket as a SHTF back-up. Don’t underestimate the .22 magnum round. If I gave a bad guy a dose of .22 mag to the face or belly at close range, he would probably rethink continuing his felonious assault on me. Not my primary back-up, but a good deep carry piece. Think I might have to acquire me a new S&W revolver. Keep posting your excellent vids. Stay safe all!!
I just discovered the NAA I like the side winder it's the swing out w/star ejector, I also like the 4" hog leg as a boot gun in the holster hang from the top inside ( CCW). God bless you and Texas
Another well done informative video. I already have the 351 pd and the 43 c Airlite revolvers. Just ordered the 351 c after watching this video. Extremely handy, light weight, every day carry revolvers. Good for close range personal defense, especially if you keep shooting. Far better than a sharp stick. Trigger pull is heavy. Practice with relatively cheap ammo.
I have the same revolver but it is the 351PD model with the HAMMER love it, this is actually a option for a CCW I believe but lots of folks think the rimfire is to unreliable, personally I have never had any issues but with a revolver you have a misfire just keep pulling the trigger love this as a pocket carry gun, I have the same Gold Dot ammo as well as the Hornady made for short barrels, I ordered a thousand rounds when I bought this revolver and have accumulated a good amount of CCI Maxi mags as well as Gamepoint ammo so I am fixed up
But why carry a revolver in a smaller caliber when you can usually get a semi auto around the same size in usually a better performing cartridge? I do like the short .357s/.38s however.
Excellent revolver, excellent caliber, it allows you to carry if you don't like a heavy gun or if you not a fan of recoil. S&W needs to up it's quality control because they're letting guns ship with cosmetic and mechanical flaws. I've sent three guns back in three years.

This would be a nice addiction and would carry it. All guns seem to have some cheap points these days guess you buy the ones with less problems. Don’t underestimate the .22 mag. I shoot groundhogs with it and one shot does the job. I’ve shot some gel with it and it’s almost as effective as the 9mm. Might not expand as much but it definitely packs a punch.
Have the 351 PD model and I gotta say it is astonishingly accurate (def for the barrel length) with Federal Punch, especially in single action. I bought the gun for summer carry... but I gotta admit, I find myself carrying it a lot lately. It's just so light... and with the recent short barrel magnum loads (Punch and Gold Dots)... 7 rounds... well, I guess what I'm say'n is, I'm get'n spoiled. Kinda "rounded" the end of the hammer a bit (wouldn't call it bobbed) so it's doesn't "pinch" - EASY carry - runs great.

I like small 9's and pocket 380's, and carried an LCP 380 when the weather kept me in shorts most of the year, but a fall last year which left me with a badly sprained wrist and arthritis in both hands has me looking more and more at a lite weight 22mag. I love my 351PD. All it needed to make it perfect was Hogue Bantam grips to replace the wood grips (they didn’t fit my hand properly). I also like the DeSantis Clip Grip on this gun, but the gun won’t stay put in your waistband for long due to the light weight. The fiber optic Hi-Viz front provides a superior sight picture. I also use the Speer Gold Dot ammo. Lucky Gunner folks did some testing on this and seems to expand to approx. .32" which I think makes this ammo a viable defense round. Good shooting there, and thanks again for the review.

Impressive video skills and amazing shooting! As you’re a fan of .22 LR/Mag revolvers, what’s your favorite? Also, I’d sure like to see .32 S&W come back, which would bridge the gap between.22 Mag & .38 SPL and has higher capacity. At least .327 will shoot .32 S&W.
Great video Buffalo. I agree with your opinion. I've been really impressed with some recent testing with the .22 mag. I was a pair skeptic as it really wasnt much better than a ..22lf . That has changed over the years. Thank you for sharing with us . You are good people. God bless all here.
advantage of a 22 mag short barrel revolver, a very fast draw due to light weight and travel distance gun has to clear holster, very loud especially urban areas (scares people away) good penetrating round, price of ammo about like 9 mm sometimes less, low recoil, fast follow up shots, disabled and senior citizens can handle it well, close range small game hunting, flat bullet trajectory for such a short barrel, no limits how you carry due to safe heavier trigger pull, conceal carry being small it hides well
Great video Buffalo! I've just acquired a 351pd and I was somewhat disappointed with the trigger pull from the factory. I replaced the factory spring with a Wolfe 8#. What a difference! Did you change the spring when you did the 5 yard increment video? If not I'd bet you'd expand the range. Always enjoy your videos. Keep them coming.
Honestly a revolver in general is gonna have a heavier trigger pull but a rimfire revolver especially because it needs more force to hit that rimfire primer. I would of just stuck with the original springs you may have problems with lightstrikes down the road If you haven't already maybe you won't but just something to consider.

Love the 351c wish the 351pd was also available without the external lock 43c 351c some versions of the 442 + 642 the 640 Pro Series and 340 m&p can all be had without external locks.
Good demo, Buffalo! I bought a new 351C, today!
Back in Black!
So I've been watching your videos your content honesty is awesome but the AC/DC shirt got the subscribe 🤘keep up the good work I really enjoyed the 22 content found some of those gold dots I've never even seen them on the shelf before got lucky one day at the right place!
Nice film. Nice shooting.I have always liked rimfire. Thanks!
Love the revolver! Love the shirt!
That's some pretty good shootin with that little 22mag. I agree with you, if you like it carry it .
I have a 43C and love it
Crimson Trace grips, and you won't regret buying!😃
I like that sweet little plinker with some pop! Have a good weekend!
Nice. I hope I’ll be accurate with this, if so, this would make a good back up ankle holster gun.
Nice little revolver.
Great video Buffalo. I agree with your opinion. I've been really impressed with some recent testing with the .22 mag. I was a pair skeptic as it really wasnt much better than a ..22lf . That has changed over the years. Thank you for sharing with us . You are good people.
God bless all here.
Oh my goodness that’s some amazing shooting brother - can’t believe you are that accurate with a snub nose with such an obnoxiously heavy trigger
advantage of a 22 mag short barrel revolver, a very fast draw due to light weight and travel distance gun has to clear holster, very loud especially urban areas (scares people away) good penetrating round, price of ammo about like 9 mm sometimes less, low recoil, fast follow up shots, disabled and senior citizens can handle it well, close range small game hunting, flat bullet trajectory for such a short barrel, no limits how you carry due to safe heavier trigger pull, conceal carry being small it hides well
It be interesting to see the velocity differences between the 22 magnum and the 22 long rifle versions of this gun
I have the 351pd , I chronoed the gold dots at 1100 FPS , Critical Defense at 1,000 and most 22 long rifle at about 925-950
Great video Buffalo!
When we butcher hogs a 22 is the go to gun. 22 mag be just fine. Good video I'm going to check these out.
Great presentation and shooting.
Great video and with your steady hands you must be a surgical doctor!
BUFFALO I sure hope BCA sends you an 22 mag upper to test and review . I do love wheel guns myself , have a great weekend buddy .
I’ve killed some rather large game with a 22 mag. Not my first choice. But it’s what I had.well placed shot and they are very deadly.
this would be a good firearm with gold dot, to carry when your like 80, im going to purchase it now for when that time comes, thanks for video
Hey Buffalo. Great shooting and great Tee shirt!!
Another great review, Buffalo! Jinxes be danged!
Great review. Gotta say, you do very well with a 12lb-ish trigger pull. Good to see you on the range again.
That is one heavy trigger!
