    There’s just something about high velocity rounds in a pistol that makes me love them. 22 mag, 5.7, TCM22 I love all those hot little rounds, they hit above their weight class and the capacity just seals the deal for me. 🐾✌️🇺🇸

    Alright, I love .22WMR. I've got several rifles and a couple revolvers in .22 mag already. I've been thinking about the Kel-Tec PMR30 for a while but M&P has caught my eye. I've seen a number of RUclips reviews and one of the first I saw the poster had repeated problems. Since then I've watched another 4 or 5 reviews where the gun ran flawlessly. I'm sold. I'll be getting one this week. Thanks for posting.

      I owned a PMR-30 and it was a jam-a-matic. I sold it for a profit during the craze. Buy a S&W please!

    Well, It's about time S&W came out with a 22 Mag gun to rival the Success of the PMR 30 from Kel-Tec! I mentioned this many months ago, that some of the Bing Gun Company's were going to Issue their New 22 Magnum Pistols because the Trend has started and You will see many other's ton Follow! There are at least 5 Company's Touting their 22 Mag Pistols! I purchased my PMR30 at the beginning of this year and My Gun has proven to be a Tac Driver right out of the Box! My Gun is a second generation model of this Gun and I have shot over 1000 rounds, going to my LGR here in Sunny Florida, which I visit every week! My PMR30 Has proven to be very accurate and reliable to be able to become my EDC and I carry it with confidence as my self defense Weapon!

    Even though I get the idea you don't like reviewing
    22 magnum semiautos. Lol!
    Would you consider this to be the best 22 magnum semiauto

    Any ftf, fte etc?
    Thanks.

    I love the S&W M&P series pistols. While I think the .22 magnum pistol would be a great target or hunting pistol I would not feel comfortable carrying a rim fired pistol for personal self defense. I own a Ruger Mark IV target pistol & yes love target shooting the .22 caliber. Great video!! Subscribed!!

    • @VitalArms
      @VitalArms Год назад +5

      It’s nothing like .22lr. The ammo is jacketed and not plated, case width and length are bigger. Bullet design is completely different. Concussion is quite load and has a massive fireball out of pistols. Soft shooter but very satisfying. Highly recommend

    • @evanacey1414
      @evanacey1414 Год назад +2

      There’s no recoil to it man. I own a Kel Tec PMR-30 and while it shoots a huge fireball and has a lot of blast and concussion, recoil is considerably less than .380 and just barely more than 22lr

    • @Sickofsociety1
      @Sickofsociety1 Год назад +1

      There's going to be some recoil due to the action reciprocating. Unavoidable. My Ruger MKIV all steel target in .22lr recoils. It just isn't much. Like this M&P, there isn't a lot but there is recoil. The gun wouldn't cycle if it had no recoil.

    • @theeddorian
      @theeddorian Год назад +1

      I have an old - now - Ruger single-six revolver, six-and-a-half inch barrel with the magnum cylinder, and a Marlin rifle 22-inch barrel. Both were terrifically accurate, though neither was semiautomatic. Given the speed of the .22 WMR I would be inclined to doubt the performance out of any shorter barrel. My Ruger was accurate even with just iron sights, but the rifle with scope was better.

    So it is possibly a better mouse trap, but don't see using specific ammo for any rimfire as a Problem. I have a PMR30 and a CMR30 and they run beautifully if you run CCI maximags, hornady critical defense, or speer gold dot ammo, and you load the mag correctly (3 rounds tap back of mag against your hand, and repeat). 99% of malfunction of my guns are either improper mag loading or ammo other than I listed. 2 of the 3 ammos I listed are very easy to find so i don't consider that a problem. There 22LR pistols that only like certain ammo. Having said that, I might have to get one of these just because I like M&Ps and I like the concept of running V-max ammo but I'll wait for more reviews

      @@thekentuckygunco thats good but from all your talk and the S&W booklet i still suspect it's problematic by rimfire nature. i want to replace my glock 19 home defense gun with something fun, but i dont think it'll be this for that reason. maybe a 5.7x28 instead, though the ammo is so pricy. main thing i like about this is the crazy 30 round capacity. and if i'm not mistaken the .22 wmr ammo is a little cheaper than 9mm even

      @@cryengine_x 22wmr may be cheaper than 9mm but 9mm +P has more power from a handgun than 22 mag has from a 24” barrel. If you want to break away from 9mm you better get your check book ready.

      @@WillyBShooting ehh 22 mag is enough power imo especially with a 30 rd mag. just dont trust the reliability of a rimfire for home defense.

      @@cryengine_x I think the ammo and the gun are reliable enough but we are talking far less power than 9mm like 1/3rd the power. All of the ballistic numbers on 22wmr packaging is for a 24” barrel and 22wmr barely competes with 5.7x28 with a 24” barrel. There are better options for self defense.

    It sure is better than the PMR-30. The Keltech is a POS, I spent atound $700.00 upgrading the damn gun. That includes shipping. Still ftf. Trated in gor a Ruger 6 shooter, 2" Barrel.

    But is too bad this pistola is overpriced. I stick to my Canik TP9SF, I know this is comparing Oranges to Apples, but for the price, I paid $350.00 for my Canik
    plus bought 3 eighteen rounds magazines.

    This is not worth the price for just a 22magnum at 600.00 price range i can get a nine mm for less so why piss my money away on a gun like this for me i can get more for my bucks in higher caliber so no not me .
