    San Francisco, Obarrio and El Cangrejo are my favorite areas. Very walkable and everything you need is very close.

    Thank you for sharing. Really great space with wonderful terrace!!! I love the San Francisco vibe. I also love Avenida Balboa, Punta Pacifica, and Costa del Este. Enjoy!!

    I liked everything about your apartment! I don't like tall buildings, 5th floor or up to 7 is my limit! 😂 I'm 73 and somewhere in the Parque Omar area sounds very good to me. I've been coming to Panama since 2005 and I'm planning to move back there in November. San Francisco, El Cangrejo 🦀, and El Dorado sound pretty good to me, with my $800 limit I'm sure I can find something! 😊 I want to see greenery and flowers from my balcony. 🌴🌹🪴🌻🌼

    Wow. Absolutely love the space , roughly all in for a $1,000, that is amazing…. Started looking for my retirement place and Panama has been popping up a lot…. Financial wise,and quality of life…. Thank you for sharing….your honesty is refreshing… Lots of high dollar rentals, but I want to enjoy the country and live….

    I am an American retired living in Spain. Yes rent is cheap but everything else is not. Plus I lose about 20% in exchange rate. A taxi is outrageous. How is health care in Panama? Groceries? Bus service. I receive only $2600 a month retirement and could I live comfortably on this amount?

    • @healthymedia.marketing
      @healthymedia.marketing  Год назад +5

      Ubers are much cheaper then taxis here. You could find a 1 bedroom here for $550 but Panama is in the USD, therefore your money doesn’t go as far as somewhere like Medellin where they use the Colombian Peso.
      Living on $2600 could be comfortable but could be tight also. Depending on if you want to go out to eat vs. groceries etc

      Healthcare in Panama City is top notch in the region. Two Johns Hopkins (Maryland) affiliated hopitals, well 1 but it has two branches. ruclips.net/video/IXZk7e9ZZ98/видео.htmlsi=1YhnmeyJI_iAA0_2

      Panama City is a lot more expensive than the rest of the country. If you live in the provinces you should be fine. I have lived in Panama for 25 Yeats since 1999.

    This is great content Jesse and amazing value. Did you use a realtor to find this place. I lived for few months in El Cangrejo it was a bit too much City so I am considering San Francisco for next trip in a few weeks. I like the idea of close proximity to a large park reminds me of Central Park ny. Thx

    • @healthymedia.marketing
      @healthymedia.marketing  Год назад +2

      Yes I used a realtor to find this place. San Francisco is similar to El Cangrejo for the city vibe. If your looking for something more tranquil look for something overlooking parque Omar or look at Coste Del Este.

    • @handcraftedin2
      @handcraftedin2 Год назад +1

      Thanks for the reply, yes that’s what I had in mind - overlooking parque omar, I love Costa Del Este but prices seem much higher that side of town. Thanks again!

    OK, this is absolutely incredible. Great video. I'm researching a move there at the end of the year. As I don't have a car, is that area close enough to grocery stores. I also own a small dog, is there a park that is walking distance. Thanks again for this content.

      Where I was, I was literally a stones throw from a Rey. Which is the main local grocery store. then 4 blocks away was Parc Omar. A Giant park in the middle of the city.

    I'm 69 retired. Concerned about safety. Would like info about Healthcare Nurse Practioner or Physician.
    Assistant.
    This would be the.
    First time that I have been outside of regular U.S.

    • @healthymedia.marketing
      @healthymedia.marketing  2 месяца назад +2

      What I can tell you is a lot of the doctors and nurses are trained in the US & Canada. I also know services are a fraction of the cost of the US. I can suggest some doctors for Expats that are mobile. (But those are more expensive, still a fraction of the US) In the city, there are many hospitals including the Panama Clinic.
      I hope this helps.

    Yes, I would live there for $800 a month. Where I am in Canada there are no apartments for under $1200 per month.
