Walmart Spark can be a game changer. Here's why...

  • I've been looking for that third app to really support me in my money making ways. Walmart Spark COULD be the answer, but so far, it's not. Why do I think that about Walmart Spark? Especially after making an extra $100 from incentives?

    Spark has gotten horrible in my market. Everyone orders bargain cheap stuff that is out of stock. And 3/5 of customers pull tip back for whatever reason. I made $2k in 2 weeks. Now incentives dried up and tips are suspect. You see a $15 tip. It's highly likely it's a tip bait. There's no consequences for customers to zero out their tip after delivery. They have 24 hours to take out their life frustrations out on you because they can't afford anything but great value hot dog buns.

    • @Ride980
      @Ride980  2 года назад +1

      I've noticed on my end that a couple times tips on certain orders would disappear but would reappear a few days later as their own separate thing. It sucks the incentives dried up though. Right now we have a bunch of promotion incentives going on that are paying out a lot. It almost sounds like a bad market.

    • @louismfrancojr2462
      @louismfrancojr2462 2 года назад

      Once the tip is posted it should be that cause its wrong to bait but I've been noticing that the customer put in a order and they have been charged for the items and they don't get the items cause it's out of stock but Walmart still charges them then the customer has to get back online and call Walmart and say hey I didn't receive some stuff but you still billed me then the customer has to wait 24hr till the money goes back that's probably why are tips are being short

      Time for you to change zones. Find a market that's upper middle class/rich and test out the Walmarts in those places. I get $17-$25 tips almost every day I work in my area. Always go where the money is... Upper middle class, rich, and wealthy people will appreciate you as long as you deliver their shit on time.

    We need a better way to track tips. How do we know that Spark is not keeping our tips? Case in point: this morning an offer came up for 2 deliveries at 9.00. I checked the addresses to see if the mileage looked correct. While I was doing that, the offer expired. But, minutes later, I got another offer for 2 deliveries for 19.00. Guess what; it was the same 2 addresses I had previously seen. So, was the first offer low because Spark was keeping the tip, or did Spark plea with the customer to add a tip? Whatever the case, it looks fishy.

    Just finished my first week with spark. Pretty decent here in Philadelphia pa. My one complaint has been that, pretty consistently if you get an order that says, “getting ready” it never seems to switch to ready. At this point, if i get one that says that, i just cancel. I wont even wait to see.

    • @Ride980
      @Ride980  2 года назад +1

      It could be the store or it could be the system messing up. I've had orders brought out to me that were still "getting ready". If it's the store most of the time it's because they are behind and still picking the items.

    The Walmarts near me take anywhere from half an hour to nearly 2 hours to bring out an order. Not to mention the wait time for the initial check-in. They often have only 2-3 employees assigned to handle orders for anywhere from 10-20 drivers simultaneously. Even worse around the holidays. 2+ hour waits for your order to be ready to deliver.
