Because of this video I bought this kit with control arms - I didn’t want to go with a 4 inch loft lift - so I went this route and I love the look 👀- but I just figured out why my truck runs super rough lol - I need to lower it down in the front a bit to smooth out the suspension lift
Just had a 3 inch lift installed on my 2020 2500 Silverado and the measurement from center of rim to bottom of fender is 28 1/2 inch and rough as hell driving. But dropping it 3 1/2 inches to 25 it would look like hell. Right now it is level.
Stock keys or even aftermarket keys cranked won't ride the same. Especially with stock length shocks. Either need extension brackets or longer shocks. Plus the new upper control arms allow for more "wiggle room" of the front end. Stock UCA's will hit the bump stops. My last truck had this lift. I just snagged an 07 Sierra CC LBZ. I'll save myself the BS from the last truck and go with a full 6 inch like I've done in the past. This guy is correct with how the level kits rides if cranked too high.

Yep! That will help. I just threw a new set of tires on this truck, looks so much better with this lift/stance now.

I hear going over 2.5” is bad for your ball joints when you don’t do a full lift kit glad you went with upgraded upper control arms

Ima loft my my stock lift are cool but ima add a 2.5 lift kit n upper control arm n throw on some 20x12 -24
Did your 2004 duramax have factory blocks or no mine has 2inch factory blocks in the rear

The lift is specific to each truck.

Where did you buy the lift kit i got my 05 gmc sierra 2500hd I wanna lift the from up n drop the back down a bit
