I show how to remove and install the front Spindles on a Chevrolet Silverado 1500. This is the same procedure if your are installing lowering Spindles. It's also the same for a GMC Sierra as well. This should be the same procedure for 99-07 model Chevy/GMC 1500 2wd. The tire I used is a 275/70r18 bfg all terrain that is 33.2" tall.

Your video was very helpful on the installation on my 2wd 02 Silverado. The only thing I found that you don't mention is you need to reroute the brake lines and the abs wires from the wheels. But other than that , thank you for your video it does help.

    • @imonaroll9502

On the 02 ones you have to zip tie the abs wire creatively and you have to use a longer steel braided brake line that you also have to route and zip tie. The stock brake line will not work with this lift. I tried it. ❤

Even though mines an 08, this is still very helpful. One concern I have is that I've seen people comment on the "final track width", some say 1/2", some say 1". Is it really that much of a difference? I was planning on buying 1.5" spacers for the front and 2" for the rear, that way it evens out.

Hit the torsion bars if you're doing this to a 2wd Yukon or tahoe and you'll get almost 6 inches of lift

Do you have any recommendations for lifting the rear?

I just changed mine on a 3" spindles but the bottom of my tires look way to the inner side and seems to not be aligned.
    Any reason why?
    Thanks.

one side or both sides? Lower ball joint issues? Thats weird, so both of your front tires look like this \ / ?

Should I use extended control arms?

Hi, I'm a little frustrated last Tuesday, I ordered some spindles for my 2001 Silverado 2wd "stock wheels 16". I'm looking at the reviews and it seems that you should use wheels 17 or bigger. Any recommendations please

Might have to just go back to stock or get bigger wheels..have u rode with the 16s yet? I have stock 16s and I wanted to know if it’s possible to run the lift with these wheels? Or how bad does it look?

Yes you can run the spindle with 16 in wheels but you'll need a 2in spacer
