hahaha, 5:17 "let me show you how well the palm rejection works" 5:33 "it's pretty obvious that it doesn't work very well"
Drawing test starts at 5min
First time I saw the iPad 10th gen, I knew that I was going to get it. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA Having done that, I have no regrets whatsoever. The battery life is superb, the landscape camera is a winner for me, the shape is suitable for my carrying case. As part of my purchase, I threw in a case from ESR, and a Logitech Crayon to compliment my purchase. So far so good on my iPad. The Logitech Crayon works perfectly with it as well.
+Diego Fernández Jorquera It works with screen protectors also. I would choose Jot Pro because that's more accurate to me.
@MQMirza95 I don't have Fineline 1 so I don't know of the difference.
Does it work with iPad air 2 ?
John Nash Yes it does www.amazon.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Fineline-Stylus-CS600C1G/dp/B012IAQIU0?tag=ttmus-20
I can't decide. I have an mini iPad Air 2. For some reason, I love iPad Air 2. It's small, and can be carried easily rather than having to carry a heavy iPad Pro that's heavy.
But I couldn't decide like I said. But thanks for this review! I will buy this.
Just got one! Its pretty good but since its my first time with a stylus its hard to get used to
I know this is 4 years old do you still have the stylus? Is it good do you still have it?
Priscilla Animations havent used/ drawn with it for a long time but yea it still works
superpunchhead Oh Okay Thank you for replying back This helps a lot. I do need to replace my stylus it stop charging and am planning to buy a replacement.
Could you please do a review about Wacom fineline 3?
Wacom fineline 3 is launched in 2017
Thanks. I'll see if I can get my hands on one.
Teoh Yi Chie Hey man would really love a 3rd gen bamboo fineline review as well! Thanks
i would like to see this review too
Really thanks for all your videos.I’m looking right now to buy a stylus to start drawing on my iPad mini.Which is the best stylus to draw on iPad for you? Thanks in advance 😉
I bought a Bamboo Fineline 2 and it doesn't work well on my children's iPad. I tried it on a Bamboo Paper app on windows touchscreen ASUS and it has exactly the same faults. I tried on a mobile phone, again the same bugs, disappearing lines disjointed lines etc. The Asus's own pen works fine on the Wacom app though!
Hi! Great review, first of all.
Do you know if it works well with screen protectors?
And also, for writing purposes only, would you choose the Jot Pro over the Jot Script?
Hi, what's the main difference between Fineline 1 & Fineline 2 ? Any accuracy difference ? Does the Fineline 2 work with Ipad Air 2 well ?
Hi Teoh, could you make a comparison of fineline 2 with fineline 3? Thank you
wow your reviews are really helpful thanx for em.
can you share a review about bamboo fineline 3 and Adobe Ink & Slide ? please.
Hi Teoh, Can you do a review of "Bamboo Sketch"? I have an iPad Air2 and planning to purchase iPad Pro for "Apple Pencil" compatibility as that is the only good product as per my experience which gives more accurate writing experience for the Tablate user compared to other 3rd party Stylus. I am not an artist but common user and fan of digital writing. Thank you for acknowledging the comment.
+Pratik Patel I'm probably not going to review Bamboo Sketch. If you get iPad Pro, the best stylus is Apple Pencil.
Thanks Teoh so much for this useful video. My question is; have you tried it with iPhone as well? does the Fineline 2 stylus, or any Wacom iPad stylus work with iPhone as well? kind regards.
+Ashraf Manassa I don't have the iPhone. I recommend checking the stylus manufacturer's website, or the drawing app's website to see what stylus they recommend.
Would you know how it compares to the fineline 1?? Is it actually any better with the iPad Air 2??
+Kashif Ahmed I do not have Fineline 1. Check out more reviews on Amazon at www.amazon.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Fineline-Stylus-CS600C1G/dp/B012IAQIU0?tag=ttmus-20
Hello I am looking for a replacement of my old bamboo finetip Blue stylus stop working is this better then the blue fine tip stylus?
what's your mention? between fineline 2 and creative stylus 2, I'm making decision.
+prachaya96 They are almost the same except the Creative Stylus 2 has an extra button on the side. Go for the Creative Stylus 2.
Nice video, I will like to know if this will work on iPad Mini 2?
Not sure. Check the compatibility list on Adonit's website
Hi Teoh, what about the review for Fineline 3?
I really want to invest into a screen and a pen for illustration purposes. Now when I saw fineline I got really excited and I felt that it would really be a better deal to go for this rather than a intous tablet ...
My question, will this be worth it for drawing. I dont do much now, I actualy work more on my note 3 neo for sketching and colouring and yet to get to something that I feel comfortable with. So what do you recommend?
+Francis Xavier The main difference is mobility. If you need something mobile, then this is the combination to get. If you not need the mobility, I would recommend the tablet. Performance and the feel of drawing on the Intuos is much better than this stylus on glass surface.
Shifting from pen & paper to pen & screen feels more closer to what I would want to do, makes it more natural for me to take up.
One last question, so which pen is great for drawing according to you. I dont like the transparent nib pens. I checked adonit jot touch, dash, script .. ipen ... and fineline .... I like touch the best from that... which one would you pick for illustration and painting...
Have you tested the Fineline 2 with the Ipad Air 2?
+Glenn Billings I don't have iPad Air 2
Bamboo fineline 3 ❤️❤️❤️📝✍🏻
Hi Teoh! Thank you for your amazing reviews! I would really like to see a review on the Stilo SP-0001-US Active Fine Tip Stylus (currently 49.99 on Amazon). Thanks!!
+JoeBob C That stylus looks like it's comparable to the Adonit Jot Dash. Maybe I'll feature that in the future.
That would be awesome! There are a couple of reviews out there but none are as in depth as yours. I currently have the Adonit Jot Pro, which I bought based on your review of it. I really like it, but sometimes I do have a bit of trouble with the precision of it, which is why I want to know if the Stilo Active Fine Tip would work better. Again, thank you for all your amazing videos!
Hi which budget stylus would you recommend circa today 2020 for the iPad Air 2. I can use any app, as I am a drawing learner.
accentontheoff i just got Procreate and the styluses I was looking at ranged from 30-50 dollars but that’s on the cheaper end compared to some that are 175. For me the 50 dollar one (this stylus) seems like the best option from what I’ve seen, it’s not super expensive but it still is really good. But I would definitely pick a price range from how much you think you will use your iPad for digital art, if u think you’ll be committed, maybe spend a bit more money to get more value.
Carolina Lotrean Ok so that’s that then.. thanks for the reply!
hello Teho! Great review. Could you please tell me where to buy this stylus in Singapore? I'm not able to buy online at this moment in time. Thanks for your time!
+Saw Nai Mon I'm not sure which shop sells it. Wacom Singapore website sells it.
Hi, if you want, I can sell you mine for $40. I bought it in September 2015.
Hey, Teoh! I'm interested. I would like to know more details about it like.. is it good condition or can I test it before I decide to buy?
It's in good condition. You can test it. Contact me at 9245 747o
Thanks Teoh! I will contact you tomorrow for sure.
Hello Teoh, Could you tell me what's the best pen for write and taking notes? I will use the pen for my everyday lessons at school so I need a good pen. I thought at the Fineline 2 for the price that has now at Amazon, €33,88. What do you think of it for that use? Or is there some better pen (maximum 40 euro) that does its duty for the use that I should do? please reply to me as soon as possible, I'm gonna to order the pen tonight! many thanks in advance! P.S. Sorry for the English, I'm Italian! +Teoh Yi Chie
+Antonio Pitisci You can look at the reviews for Adonit Jot Dash, Wacom Fineline 2.
+Teoh Yi Chie and what do you think of the Wacom intous creative stylus 2? I repeat, I will use the pen for the everyday school lesson (so I will use it for write) because I don't draw so I'm very ignorant on this subject. which would you choose and you advise me between the fineline 2, the adonis jot dash and creative stylus 2 intuous? I'm really undecided, please help me! :-(
+Antonio Pitisci Probably Jot Dash.
Hi, are there many differences between bamboo fine line 2 and bamboo fine line 3, when it comes to handwriting? Thanks
I don't have Fineline 3 to test unfortunately.
Is it possible to pinch to zoom in and out, or to use the finger to touch buttons while the pen is paired?
Yes
For drawing, do you prefer the Wacom Bamboo Fineline 2 or the Adonit Dash 2?
+Yukino Fujiwara Adonit Dash 2. The slow diagonal lines are less jittery/wavy
Teoh Yi Chie Ok thank you✨
What is the difference between the 1 and 2
Can you please do a review on the bamboo sketch or like a which stylus to buy. Btw I love your videos.
+Jonathan 69 Do you have a link to that Bamboo Sketch?
www.wacom.com/en-se/products/stylus/bamboo-sketch
That looks like a very recent product. Suppose to be released in June. I'm not sure when it will be widely available. It's not out even on Amazon. If you want a pressure sensitive stylus that's currently available, check out Adonit Pixel (works on iOS only)
Teoh Yi Chie ok thank you!😋
Hi.... can you recommend any stylus that are work with Ipad 2?
For drawing, you can get the one with the disc, Adonit Jot Pro. If you don't like the disc, then Adonit Dash 2 or Snap. It seems like Adonit currently no longer sell styluses that support the iPad 2. Unless it's an iPad Air 2. Anyway, you can compare the stylus and features at www.adonit.net/jot/pixel/
Hello Teoh !!! Please, can you tell me if there is a Wacom bamboo pen that works with pressure on the iPad Air 2?
I use Procreate and I have an active stylus and I can't start a thin line and finish thick with it ... can you tell me if there is a pen that does this on the iPad Air 2 ???
Thank you
Maybe look at Adonit styluses. Check out the reviews online first. Whether pressure sensitivity can work will also depend on the app that you use. Not all apps support Adonit styluses, or even if they support the stylus they may not support pressure sensitivity.
thank you so much for answering !!! I will research about them !!! Good Sunday 🙏🏻
Hi Teoh, could you do a review with Fineline 3? Thank you.
If you are looking for iPad stylus, check out Adonit styluses which are better.
Hi, Teoh, does this bamboo and Adonit Pixel work on Macbook pro? thanks!
They only work for iPad and iOS devices
Have sensitive to pressure?
Hi ,, What stylus do you recommend to use for taking handwritten notes on iPad Air 2
I have been searching for 2 months and found nothing 100% accurate yet !
Thanks in advance.
+Munther Fawzi I've used a lot of stylus and sad to say, most of them are just not good at taking notes.
I would recommend the Adonit Jot Pro Fine Point. It's shown in the video at 16:00
I've a review for Adonit Jot Pro at ruclips.net/video/apoKdu-awFQ/видео.html
The plastic disc may hinder writing slightly but it's accurate and lag free.
Digital styluses are usually not good because they tend to suffer from some lag, even if it's microseconds, because they need to communicate to and back with the iPad. I also find that the strokes are not as nice as non-digital capacitative stylus.
hi! my fineline 2 does not perform very well. the writing on the notes (bamboo, zoomnotes, myscript smart notes) diverts away from the centre of the nib (i think the gap is wider than your fineline 2 as shown on the video). besides, the palm rejection does not that effective (or not effective at all).. even on autodesk sketchbook.. is there any tips/setting that missed to set up (i've set everything in the right order i think)? or is it my fineline 2 that is not functioning good and need replacement? thanx
+Mohd Suzairiff Try using their Wacom Bamboo Paper app. It should work fine there. If the tip and point distance is too big, it could be a problem with the pen. I had that problem once with some other pen. Or try in Procreate app which allows you to change hand position. If it's a faulty pen, you should contact Wacom and ask for an exchange
thank you. i've tried the bamboo paper (and some other apps). but the gap is still big. thanks anyways for your advice.
something crossed my mind... does tempered glass affect this accuracy problem? did u have any screen protector on your ipad?
I have a thin screen protector. Screen protector should not affect the pen performance because they are not very thick anyway.
Thank you very much... 🙂
I'm looking for a stylus for using with PS CC as a graphic tablet with IPad Air 2? What could U recommend for me?
+Bartek Kołaczkowski You can check out Adonit Pixel, with Astropad app.
Thanks a lot! I will check it :)
Hi, and bamboo fine line 3 is it compatible with the iPad (2017)?
+sofia coimbra coimbra Not sure. Check Wacom's website
I have the Fineline 2 but for some reason I can't get smooth lines... what is the fix for this? I have tried several different apps but still can't figure it out. Any help would be great.. oh I am on iPad Air 2
It's difficult to get smooth lines when drawing slowly. Slow lines tend to have jitter wavy effect. It's an issue common to stylus and tablet. The workaround is to draw slightly faster.
Cool, thanks so much for getting back to me. New to using a stylus, guess it is just something to get used to
Hi, i don't have a bamboo fineline stylus yet. But i downloaded the adobe sketch app in my ipad mini. I dont find the palm rejection option at all..Please help me. Will the option appear only when i connect to a bamboo stylus ?
Palm rejection, if any, will be found in whatever app you use. Palm rejection doesn't work well.
Hi! My Air 2 connects with fineline but strokes aren't recognized. If I use the stylus my ipad just don't respond. I'm desperate for help 😭
I don’t have the stylus already. But if I remember correctly, you have to pair the stylus with each app you use.
I think the build quality of the previous version was better
Hey, can u recommend me an stylus to draw on iPad Air 2? no fifty three cuz on my country it's hard to find it. Thanks
Adonit Jot Pro Fine Point is a good stylus for drawing.
very very good review, the best one in this matter.
+Andras Sz Thank you 😁
can i use it without bluetooth? for home page?
can i use it note for apple application or i can use it only for application that you mention?
You need Bluetooth to use. You can use with any application, however, features of the pen will depend on the application itself.
it means when i use pen without bluethooth it word for example in my keyboard that without my finger work?
+Sepehr Kajbaf If there is no bluetooth or battery, the pen will not work.
thank you for your answer
Hi, do you think is possible using with ipad 2 (2011)? thanks
It should work. But to be sure, check Wacom's website for the compatibility list.
What version of Adobe Sketch are you using?
+Parsell Art Not sure. I always update to latest version
Does this work with iPad Gen 6?
Not really sure but it should
Can you try this one or fineline 3 on old ipads?
Doesn’t work for iPads
This is SUPPORT iPad 5th (2017)?
Yes
Hey there, would you let me know which stylus is the best one for Ipad mini ? Thanks in advance
Adonit Jot Pixel currently.
Does anyone know if rotation of the actual ipad would be a workaround for having to keep the same hand position when drawing lines at different angles like you might with real paper? I imagine it wouldn't work.
+rstallings69 The offset from the tip will also rotate
what model ipad is that? btw nice vid
iPad Air
thank you!
does it work with ipad 5th gen
It works for all the ipads or only in ipad air?
+RainbowScarf It says it will work with iPad 3 and 4, iPad Air 1 and 2, iPad Mini 1, 2 and 3. www.amazon.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Fineline-Stylus-CS600C1G/dp/B012IAQIU0/?tag=ttmus-20
I have a tablet use android and I want to have a stylus to draw. But I don't know, it's my first time . Can you help me?
+hirana akira Get the Adonit Jot Pro, the one with the transparent disc at the tip. That will work with Android.
Teoh Yi Chie Thank you so much, I love your video! I 'm so sad because the bamboo stylus finelie 2 it's not very good on tablet .
why can't android get good stylus like this :(
Jayson Bossuet
I think that the desingner don't like android
Shiroki Yuuki If you have a Samsung Note series device you get something that's actually hardware supported and works better.
Jayson Bossuet The Samsung Note series has the best stylus implementation of all mobile devices.
Bamboo feel is for Samsung note series, or feel carbon for Windows Surface pro 1-2
Jayson Bossuet you android users are lucky to have a phone ALONG with a stylus.
Doese it work on ipad 2 and how much doese it cos ( sorry for my bad english )
I don't think so. Check the specifications at www.wacom.com/en-us/products/stylus/bamboo-fineline-2
Teoh Yi Chie
Ok,thanks
Wocam bamboo does work on iPad 4
+COOKING WITH NAHEED RIZWAN I can't remember. You have to check out the Wacom website.
Is it bad to use without a screen protector?
+Joseph Morale Depends on your personal preference. A matte screen protector will protect the screen from scratches and make the surface feel better for drawing. However the screen protector will affect the image quality of course. About scratches, they are usually difficult to produce on the glass but I have seen scratches on my iPad personally. Hard to scratch, but still possible.
Thanks for responding I subscribed and liked your video
+Joseph Morale Thanks for the support!
which ipad air is used in the review?
iPad Air 1
Does it work with notability?
It should.
does it work for android phones and tabs?
I don't think so. Check out the OS that is supported from their website.
Hey man I'm really confuse for stylus for iPhone please please give me best stylus idea for sketch's for iPhone 6s
If you want pressure sensitivity, Adonit Pixel. If you don't need pressure, you can try Adonit Jot Pro, Dash 2 or Snap. I have reviews for all of them at www.parkablogs.com/tags/adonit
Thank you so much
What to do if you lost the nip of the pen??
Sorry I meant nib**
Will this work on all Android tablets???
Only on iOS
does it work with 'paper by 53'?
No. Paper only supports their own stylus and Apple Pencil.
Teoh Yi Chie Thank you!
make a review for wacom bamboo tip please
Not sure when that will be though
Works on Lightroom for ipad? Thanks
Yes
Can it work as an active stylus?
+Primescape 16 No
What would be a good stylus with palm rejection for making notes on iPad Air?
+Shah Nadir Palm rejection is iffy. It would be better to just lift the palm off the glass than be frustrated by the inconsistency of the feature.
does it work for ipad mini
Not sure about that. Check Wacom's website or Amazon for the compatibility list.
Wait how much was it?
+Percy and Maisey Price changes. You can see the price on Amazon www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=wacom+bamboo+fineline+2&tag=ttmus-20
Can it also work on a window nextbook ?
+LittleMissCurly Only on limited iOS devices.
+LittleMissCurly I don't think so.
Teoh Yi Chie does this works on my wacom drawing tablet??
Does it work on android
Only for iOS
Teoh Yi Chie thanks BTW are u on twitter
twitter.com/ParkaBlogs
Ooouuups
Ok, thank you anyway
I think you got a knockoff. This doesn't look like the one I've seen elsewhere.
+N3RD[4]LIFE I ordered it from Amazon.
I don't think this person is much of an artist... At least he isn't a good drawer...
Heck yeah he is....check out his pen and watercolors!
Does it work with Ipad Pro? and which pen do you recommend to buy for drawing on an ipad pro?
Apple have a pen for the ipad pro
Does it work on iPad mini 4? And does it have pressure sensitivity in autodesk SketchBook? Please tell me.
+Parisa Reaz I should work on Mini 4. Just to be sure, check the compatibility listing on Wacom website. I no longer have the pen so I can't remember if it works well with Autodesk Sketchbook. You can check Sketchbook for the list of stylus they recommend.
Teoh Yi Chie thanks for replying. Well.... I'm changing my mind to buy Wacom Bamboo fineline 3rd generation. I've seen it working on iPad mini 4 and SketchBook app. But still worrying for the pressure sensitivity. Does it have pressure sensitivity on SketchBook?
is this pen is compatible with the ipad 4?
It should be
Does it World with iPad pro ?
Yes. But you should get Apple Pencil if you can afford it as it's the best stylus on the iPad Pro.
Does it works with ipad 2?
+da Veiga For Might not work. This is the list from Wacom: iPads featuring Bluetooth® Smart technology and iOS 8 or later: iPad Air 2 iPad Air iPad mini 3 iPad mini 2 iPad mini iPad (4th generation) iPad (3rd generation)
working in ipad 3 16gb?
+Axel Heber Not sure about that. Check out Wacom's website for the list of compatible tablets.
