Works amazing on my iPad 5th gen palm rejection don’t work so you will need a glove. Sadly I lost my bamboo 3 days ago so I highly recommend you get a separate case. No reason why I see the bamboo going for $100 - $190 but I will shell out the cash drawing with this thing on procreate is amazing.
I have a question... I understood (in the store) that this pen works with a program? I wonder if the pen only works with certain apps? or is it usable everywhere? Like... I'm looking for a pen which I can also use to write notes in my pdf files (curriculum) from class... so I kinda need to know if that pen works on a pdf file?

Berrii hi! I tested it with an iPad Pro 12 inch version, the first one, an iPad Air 2 and an iPhone 8 Plus and had no issues. There seem to be mixed results from other people with other devices but I can check for you? You can also look here - www.wacom.com/comp - but it doesn’t show the Fineline 3 ufortunately.
Berrii sorry, just saw your second comment. The Bamboo Tip doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity so doesn’t have pressure sensitivity. That said, you can use it with an app like Procreate on an iPhone with 3DTouch and it will use that for the pressure. The Bamboo Fineline and Bamboo Sketch offer pressure sensitivity, the Sketch has twice the levels of the Fineline.

This works pretty good, but it does not compare at all to the Apple Pencil. I used this for a year and recently upgraded to the Apple Pencil and there is a reason the Apple Pencil is expensive... it works so much better. Palm rejection is terrible with the bamboo which doesn’t sound too bad until you realize how much you rest your hand writing. I had to learn how to write without touching my screen and with the Apple Pencil that is not a problem. Also, it sometimes stops lines when writing and gets annoying
Great review! I wonder why the website says that this Bamboo Fineline is not compatible with Adobe Draw, Adobe Sketch and Procreate on iPad Pros ,yet you were able to use it. I just tried this pen on an ipad mini 2 on Adobe Photoshop Sketch and it lags quite a bit.. not sure if it's an issue of software or devise though... will make more tests

I recently bought an iPad (2019, pro) and after a while I concluded "i need a pen". I use the iPad mostly for schoolwork, to be able to follow the class slides ... and I was like "damn, I wanna take notes on these pdf slides".... there is an option for that, but a finger really does not work as a pen XD
So my main use would be: note taking...
but then adobe released the illustrator app for the iPad... which means, now I can do some work on my iPad too!!!!
Also I downloaded one of the drawing apps you use to test the pen in this video! And even with my finger I liked the result! So I think I might start using it to make concept sketches for my design or simple drawings!!! I love paper, but tbh, it's sometime a hassle to carry my sketch book everywhere!!!
I was looking into this one, or the other version which is 20 euros... might go for this more expensive version, which will allow me to do more stuff!

It will work with the iPad Air 2, but it doesn’t have palm rejection. Some apps do have their own options for tackling it though.
I am using Wacom Fineline 3 with iPad Air 2. This combo works nicely with Noteshelf 2. No need for gloves. But, not so much for GoodNote 4. Yet, Wacom Bamboo Sketch + iPad Air 2 + Noteshelf 2 is far superior to Fineline 3. (Yes, I think palm rejection depends on the apps too.)

Hi hope you can still see this. Mine arrived in the mail today and I have an Air 2. I basically decided on this stylus because of this video. Anyway, it can connect to my ipad just fine BUT it could not recognize? I try to use it as normal stylus outside any drawing app but my screen just doesn't respond to it. I connected to medibang, ibis paint, adobe and while the button works (for shortcuts, undo, etc), strokes just don't apear onscreen when I use thr stylus? Why? 😭

Local Folks @wacom do a stylus for Windows devices but I’m not sure about a pressure sensitive one for Android...Let me look into it 😁

Hi and thanks! Unfortunately this only works on iOS devices. The Bamboo Tip will work on an Android device, but doesn't offer you pressure sensitivity :(

There is a button on the barrel which you can customize to be the eraser, or anything you like, depending on the app your using.

I find it dosnt work so well on my ipad air 2 a bit frustrating i think it still leaves marks with the gloves x

I'm not sure to be honest, I only tested it with an iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPhone 8 Plus. @Wacom have a list of compatible devices here - www.wacom.com/en-us/comp - but the Fineline 3 isn't listed yet...
