Thanks ! Glad that you like my Danang accent :-) But the number of viewers appreciate my Danang accent is way smaller than the number of viewers appreciate me speaking English. You can find many Viet cooking videos in Vietnamese but not many in English. That's why I decided to switch to speak English though I started this channel speaking Vietnamese. I hope to share the Vietnamese food with more international friends beside my Vietnamese friends :)

Slice Banana Flower and put at the bottom of bowl. The soup will be more slightly flavor, less beef and shrimp. Enjoy the new world.

Probably only the third time in my life to try Vietnamese Food , I ordered Pho Ga yesterday and was impressed enough to try a different kind today, so I picked up some Bun Bo Hue and was completely blown away. The broth alone was easily the best beef broth I've ever had, and the noodles , beef and everything else in it was absolutely delicious. Probably going to have this 2-3 times a week for now on! Love it..
May try to cook my own someday, but I'm lucky enough to have a great Vietnamese Pho restaurant right outside my house.

I didn't mind the music - it added a nice homey touch to your tutorial. You also ducked it nicely and it was quiet enough when you were talking. Regarding the process of making the soup, it seems like a lot of work, so I think I might just stick to going to a vietnamese restaurant to get my pho, but I still enjoyed the tutorial ;)

Great video! Also there are some tricks I want to share that I think will enhance the broth and the meat's flavors like half the onion and the ginger and roast them before adding them to the broth. When brewing the meats, season the broth a little bit first so that the meats will be more flavorful. And one more is that I don't think you have to cook the shrimp-paste. Just adding it in and the broth will become clear after 15 minutes or less. Looking forward for more recipes from you :D

Thanks for the great recipe! I ate this for the first time just last week at the great New Orleans Vietnamese restaurant Dong Phoung on the recommendation of a Vietnamese friend. Living in Louisiana, I eat a lot of rich soups and stews. I had always liked Pho, but found it a little lacking in depth of flavor. Bun Bo Hue is just fantastic.
Unlike some other posters, I found the music great. Your taste in music is as good as your taste in food. Anyway, I'm surprising my family with a pot of homemade Bun Bo Hue tonight!

Love your cute voice & the Viet's sub., your polite respond(s) to comment(s) is very professional and right to point. Funny though some people are so BITTER and just come here to spit their venoms - now ...now that is NOT very nice! Keep up the good work honey (trust me you are way younger than this old woman ;-) Like the saying: If you can't say anything nice then just ....SHUP the "*&^%$" UP go somewhere else or just have your own channel & spit your own venoms! You don't need to hurt someone's feelings. I'm saying that because she may like it. If you don't like the music, mute your device. Easy

I had never ever thought I would be able to make this. It was always my mom who made it for me. Or I ate out. But thanks to your recipe, I made it the 1st time and it was super delicious. I actually researched quite a few recipes but I finally took yours and it turned out so great. Thank you and looking forward to more videos!! Cheers

no Hellen! Your recipe of Bun bo Hue is not right. Bun bo Hue should have cooked blood but you don't have it. also I don't think you are cooking bun bo Hue right, should learn more before show it to people.

Hey, Hellen. As you mentioned "Bun bo HUE" that means you have to cook the way Hue people cooking, not general recipe for all parts in Vietnam unless you mentioned as "this is the way your people in your area cook Bun Bo Hue". My comment is good for you to learn, not for you to be rude back to me. I have tried Vietnamese sandwich that you showed but it came out not good:( so need to be patient to learn more before show it to people

whoever don't know Bun Bo Hue then they probably like the way you cook but me , I am 100% Hue; therefore, I know you are wrong in this recipe.

First time I see this recipe and it's one of the strangest ever (I was aghast when you fried spices in all that oil - but maybe it makes sense overall) and still probably delicious to no end! I wish I had a bowl right now with all those lovely garnishes next to it. Thank you for this easy to follow video - I'm new to Vietnamese cooking but love the approach that is almost like delicious gardening. You guys are the soup masters. And you all seem to have these lovely, most soothing voices!
