Thank you for this recipe! You explain everything so well and in detail. I so appreciate that. I have been wanting to make this soup on my own and know that it takes many hours the conventional way, but now I know I can do this in a fraction of the time with your help! I can’t wait to make this recipe it looks absolutely, incredibly delicious!!!
I go to your RUclips channel every time i'm cooking our Viet Dishes now... Just made for the 1st time and the aroma is amazing. I would love more IP dishes from you. Love !!
Deana! Love your videos. Can you put the ingredients in the description so that we can pre-purchase the ingredients and follow along with your videos? Thank you and appreciate you sharing your cooking methods with us!
@@DeanaThai truly helpful. Brings back memories of comfort home cook meals. Had to learn how to cook since my mom had health issues. She lost her memories and forgot how to cook. I miss her cooking now I find myself chasing these flavors she once cooked. Also making her meals so she can enjoy. I also love too cook. Thank you much. 🙏
Hi! I plan on making this soon. Will the recipe be ok to use regular paprika? And also, how many tablespoons of palm sugar is that one stick of palm sugar? I have the container of palm sugar instead of the sticks.
@@ZoeZoeBeans So glad it came out well! I have this sieve looking laddle that I can funnel stuff out. You can also use premade tea bags for loose tea leaves to put spices in to prevent the sandiness. The spice accumulation don't bother me at all. Hope that helps! Thank you for the feedback!
It looks delicious, but I would omit the sugar though because I don’t like any sweetness in my soup apart from the onion. Where did you get the tendons? Even at Asian markets, I never see any tendons like the ones you used.
You can find them in the Asian markets by the butcher's section. Just ask them and they'll direct you. It's hard to find cause it's a tiny little section. And I've found them in the standing freezer section where the frozen meats are too. Best of luck!
This looks amazingly delicious 👌😊👌 well presented!! Beautiful upload !! First time came here but going to stay here forever that is why full wch then 🔔✔️🙏🙋🏻♀️as per u tub rule 🙋🏻♀️ Looking forward to more Ur welcome in my kitchen as well 🔔✔️🙋🏻♀️

Hi! I plan on making this soon. Will the recipe be ok to use regular paprika? And also, how many tablespoons of palm sugar is that one stick of palm sugar? I have the container of palm sugar instead of the sticks.
Yes regular paprika is fine. And it's approximately 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar depending on the saltiness of your broth.
That look delicious
Thank you so much!
THIS LOOKS SO GOOD. Thank you! Going to try it
Thank you so much! It's one of my favorites! Enjoy 😉!
Hi Deanna. How come whey I bought pork blood, it is watery and not as firm/solid as yours? Therefore, I can’t cut it to boil it
Yes you have to boil it to firm it up.
@@DeanaThai Mine was so watery and not as firm yours in container.
I’m going to try this tonight! Thank you!
You're welcome! Enjoy!
Deana Thai it came out so well!! Question, how do you get pass the "sand" that accumulates at the bottom from all the spices ?

what can I use in place of palm sugar? Measurements will also be helpful for substitution. Thank you
Light brown sugar. About a quarter of a cup.
Thank you!! Been looking for the right video to try making this dish, will be experimenting with this recipe tonight! Great post ^^
My pleasure! I hope you enjoy my recipe! Can't wait hear back!

I got the tendons from a Vietnamese/Chinese market.
music to our ears "steeped collagen" !! great video
I know right! F
Great for our belly and skin!
That's badass, great work!!
Awe thank you so much! I really enjoy it!

Can I use fresh ginger (finely minced) instead of ginger powder?
I don't use ginger powder. I always use fresh ginger that I cut in half or slice. So yes absolutely!
I'm gonna make this! Thank you!
Awesome! Can't wait to see!
@@DeanaThai I'll keep you posted!
One of my favorites. Taiwanese beef noodle soup is right up there :)
What is sweet paprika? I only have access to regular paprika, will that work?
As long as it's not smoked paprika, it is sweet paprika.
Em nên có công thức dưới màn hình.
Looks amazing, chef!!! The color of the soup looks so appealing. I just ate dinner but still feel hungry after watching this!!
😋😋😋
Awe thanks! Hehhe guess you’ll need to make some!
Maybe... Heh Heh
Hey your Vietnamese is pretty good, chef! 😁👍
Thanks!
I am sold on the hair loss prevention of this dish. Tee Hee! 😍
Can I used the “ Quoc Viet Foods Cot Bun Bo Hue Style Beef Flavored Soup Base, 10 oz.” seasoning?
Absolutely! That will work too!
How much is “a stick of palm sugar”?
About 1/4 cup white sugar.
yummy
Thank you!
Do you have the recipe for a 6 qt? :)
All you need to do is reduced the sugar stick by a 1/3 and reduce salt by 1-2 tablespoons.
@@DeanaThai thanks!
Yummyyyyy 🤤
Aweee Thank you!
This checks both of my qualifications as a home chef: delicious and lazy
