    wow outstanding I LOVE Pho Soup I was just doing my best as a white American guy with no real recipe. I talk to the women at the Asian Farmers Markets to get my tips & have a Vietnamese girl I'm friends with on Facebook.She has been a huge help telling me what are the better ingredients, to bad she lives in Windsor Canada. Thanks very much I am so going to make this.

    Thank You again Helen!
    I made Pho Ga recently using this recipe.
    As Dennis B noted below, it made the house smell wonderful!
    Trying an idea I had, rather than simmering the chicken on the stove, I cooked it in the stock in an electric slow-cooker on High for three hours. The result was great!

    Helen I just want to say 1 thing THIS IS THE BEST PHO I'VE EVER HAD my family loved it , it's so simple yet it's packed with flavour . First I wasn't sure if I'll like it or not because the spices were really less and I thought it will be taste less but I am so happy that I still followed this recipe and I was really amazed by the results . Love your channel and thanks for sharing authentic Vietnamese recipes ❤️❤️

    I develop my broth much longer;
    Debone and return to broth for at least 1-2 hours. This releases the “ natural” antibiotic in the bone.

    I usually cook the chicken until it's cooked but still moist, about 30 minutes. I then take off the breast meat and legs, then throw the carcass back in the broth for further cooking on low heat for a few hours. You'll get the maximum chick flavor.
