The mistake with this strategy is it requires a competent team mate in League.
You'd have better luck winning the lottery.
It also kinda fucks your ADC which makes your team infinitely worse off late game, and since it's Low Elo there's very little chance either team will close the game before 30 minutes
From the 8 matches I spending on Iron and 30 on Bronce. Is actually pretty easy to just help whoever has the will go in balls deep and scales with Items and have 80%+ Win rate
@@thunderdrae7749 na not really, if you do this well your adc gets a good lvl advantage while still being able to farm. It depends a lot on the adc and enemy bot laners tho

The bigger mistake is to use that strat, with fcking tanks toplanes, that cant actually fight 1v1s. Seriously, trying to snowball singed or cho is the opposite of the gameplan of said champs.

It's not that the idea doesn't work
It's actually what a lot of good supports do
The problem is that you were putting all your eggs in 1 basket named "Toplane"
Just like any investor, you have to diversify your investments
If you see that your toplane is fed enough to not need you, try to get your jungler or adc ahead so you can have pressure in 2 parts of the map, or have a backup if your toplaner is stupid
But that's just my take, what do I know? I haven't played this game in years

A pro player can play bard top in gold and crush because of skill.

If you want your top to snowball make sure they pick a champ that can snowball and not one of the splitting proxying champs
Tryndamere can snowball lol if the enemy has 0 cc if they do then tough luck its gonns be worse next patch..
At this point as a top layer i just play the game like I have no jungler, I instantly mute them and never expect tanks because I never get them

It was during free pinging era and even 10 pings to back off and chat message: DON'T GANK was not enough, we both died and top lane was a wrap after that point. Oh, and let me not forget to mention, Vi said in chat after this gank: "i'm never ganking top again, noob"
Im a jungler and I usually play like I have no top laner because they spam ping for ganks after getting solo killed 6 times in a row
@@StephGoKrazy as one who's first mained jungle and then toplane, I get your point. If your top, or any ally, has proven consistently to be bad, then you have every reason to believe he's bad, and he probably isn't worth playing around.
BUT, very often, junglers will only look at 1 bad play, or look at some stats like KDA, or not understand anything about how toplane works and call a play bad when it's just them not knowing toplane's constraints and intricacies, etc, to deem their toplaner as "bad". Often, it's just bad judgement from the jungle, based on wrong assumptions, bad game knowledge, the wrong stats, taken out of context. Their judgement is, most of the time, gonna be inaccurate and unfair.
Often, junglers will litterally make the game a living hell for their toplaner as a result of their incompetence or lack of care/knowledge for the toplane. In those cases, the junglers are the ones causing the toplane doom, and the toplaner can't do much about it. It's not always as obvious as a jungler breaking its ankles VS a lvl 6 darius/ilaoi who will get a double. It's often more subtle, yet should be quite obvious, as for example, not coming top at a timing where you could and should, where you decided to not skip or cancel that one camp, in order to break the freeze top or punish the toplane opponent's overextending, or just to ensure to be there on time for any such important timing/opportunity to get the most of it / lose the less / fix the lane if needed etc
Your toplaner then ends up 0/6 as a result, where deaths can hardly be avoided, because he's getting frozen and had to expose himself to get CS or XP, or because he gets dived, or ganked when he finally saw an opportunity for the first positive trade in the game... In those cases, he's not gonna ping you for help after the 6 deaths, but rather, he's been pinging for help before even the first deaths, because he was in such a situation, where your help was needed.
But of course, there's also the retarded ones in top who just fight and die for no reason and ping the jungler who's at the other side of the map after dying, and end up 0/6 as a sole result of their own incompetance. I'm not saying these don't exist.
I'm saying that junglers are quite often bad at discerning the difference between those 2 very distinct toplane profiles I described, and are often the ones responsible for their toplaner's demise.

I don’t help my top lane break a freeze so that’s probably something I can add to my arsenal as a jg to improve but for example I had a Quinn top who died twice before I even finished my red side so he took my camps and lost us the game. Which I know isn’t every game but I find that often times my top laners are stupid and only ask for help after they’ve died so many times. But I will take say that I need to help break a freeze and maybe even try to watch some top laners stream so I can understand the top lane more
This strat works *but* you need at least 1 teammate. Try this again with Zilean (he is the best choice cuz of the level piss) but pick the one member that knows how to play.
my favorite part of being a support is when your adc is 0/6 and can't play the game, so I just roam and gank the rest of the game always making myself impactful no matter what. Support is the best role in the game if you know how to play
I dont know if u know, but if u dont hold your q as panth u melee hit with it, which deals WAY more dmg than the ranged one (like double dmg, maybe even triple)
the damage is literally the same, it just gives cd refund.

Haven't played in over 6 weeks. I've been way happier. Sure, I don't talk to the boys as much anymore, but it's saved my mental sanity.
At this point Rav is like the Team Rocket trio; you know he'll never reach the end goal but dayum is it entertaining to watch
What actually works, is if you duo with a friend that is actually good at top, THEN you get him fed. Then this strategy would work beautifully. To be honest, that's pretty much the key to both being good and having fun playing this awful game, is to play with friends.
I like running this strat with panth supp as well but I go tp ignite so I can support, back, tp top, get a kill, back, lather rinse repeat
You need a bruiser top for this to work. Like a Fiora or an Aatrox… even a tank bruiser Lillia, the beauty of top lane is essentially on the 1/8 fiora one shorting your 6/1 ADC while out healing the 8 tower shots 👍
I think League and Overwatch are in a similar state. In which the only thing keeping the game alive and popular is the porn that people make of it.

So this is why I met two opponents top in Wild Rift. They farm less.
Toplane champs are basically designed to be able to 2v1, so any lead one of them gets can make it a slaughter fest. Getting your top ahead early can really set the game up.
Usually when support runs to top to support for top, mass pinging starts from all 4 other players and call you troll even tho its the toplaner who lost his mental before game began and starts running to towers. Happends like 50% of games too so dont try this at home :D
Lots of people have said this but it’s true supps have been roaming for a while at least if you’re a good one, that’s how we can either make up for a jng diff or help to feed multi lanes which tilts the other team like woah!

The moral of the story is, never, ever, ever camp top lane. Occasionally ganking is fine, camping will lose you the game almost every time
I've done this houndreds of times, and works great, to bad either adc starts inting for being alone, or top starts inting for you taking exp, very rarely I had a good team, where top doesnt grief/int and lets me to die to enemy top, and where adc doesnt cry for being alone... I believe It only can work on very high elo, where the adc and top don't start crying, and understand the benefits from it... but the winrate is like 80% based on only the games where top/adc don't int. If you try, play some champ you can do lots of dmg with like Lux. Take all kills you can take, get yourself fed, don't trust top to carry, cus they'll end up trolling like in your video. Also take teleport :D to tp bot and demolish them if you get fed... If done correctly, you can end game by minute 22.

I feel like most of the time league is a game of who got fed, most games there is at least 1 in each team who is ahead and smurfing, so it all comes down to who is the better fed player, the one who makes less mistakes and carries his team wins, and sometimes the fed enemy champion is a bullshit champ so him making mistakes isnt as punishing as you, so you end up making like 2 mistakes losing the entire game while he did alot more but his champ is carrying him

To be fair singed first game is hard to carry early and mid game. He's more of a split pusher and evade character.
And this is why I don’t like supportive type champs in low elo. You need to be the one winning the game, taking the towers, taking the kills etc. Top is still the worst role except MAYBE adc? Debatable.

I'll agree with some of the comments and add in my own cents to the conversation. I personally think this idea can work but as someone else said, you shouldn't have been trying to dump all your investments into top lane, especially seeing how these top laners played later on in the game. If anything you should have been dumping your investments into your jungler and mid lane when you weren't helping your adc. Also your ADC with Zilean support would have done a load lot more than Tyrnd could have that game. This idea also would have worked better if you checked the person playing top lane with poro professor to see if you could trust them at all.

Still, the reddit post is true. In most cases, you don't get to play the game is you are behind as top laner. Ironically, this serves no purpose, since top is the most irrelevant role in the game. Unless you are with a 1v9 champ, far ahead and with the enemy team without anyone fed or champs that counter you, you don't get to carry.

although, I will agree to those who say some champs have it easier than others.
There is no future for League of Legends with them having chosen to forge ahead with Vanguard. They saw what it did to Valorant and know what it will do to Leagues. Even if they come to their senses when they see the damage, and apologize profusely, it will be too late. Couldn't be more disappointed with a once great company.
the strat works, but not for something like Singed. you will have better luck with Aatrox, Riven etc

Playing way away from the edge is so frustrating to play with. If u all have voice come and u know what page ur all on its one thing but man seeing people with no risk tolerance blows. I don't play games to do nothing.

Well, it isn't the only thing going wrong but you're using your Q wrong most of the time. If you just tap it and DON'T throw it long range, it refunds 60% of the cooldown. That would help your dps on the Urgot the first few times, before he was fed. Also, you probably would have had a harder time missing that point blank spear on him 😄
btw you can also get stacks of your passive by using Q on air, like if you're waiting in a bush or something

By the looks of it Rav is just switching from a bot support to a top support with the same problem that if you invest in the wrong typ of player the effort will be wasted. you will just not see all the fails as you are not present in the top lane all the time.

Singed is the weakest toplaner lvl 1, while urgot is one of the strongest. Your strategy works, you just need to respect early game toplaners, play safe and save hp and than kill them. together lvl 3.

the Reddit post was correct. The game is often decided by which top lane snowballed. If 1 top lane gets dumpstered, its an absolute nightmare for their team.

Back in the old days when i did play Dota 2 (Mostly)/LoL if i had to go support (I played Mid and Offline). I would play roaming style. Basically non-stop trying to gank All three Lanes so we would win more then Two lanes. This really depend on what heros we had and they had but being a passive support was just asking to loss.
