You know a message has a lasting impact when a person can recall parts of it 12+ years later. I’ve watched this multiple times over the years and each time it brings me such joy. Thanks for this, Mike!
Mike's so funny but this is a beautiful story. I had no idea that's the real significance behind communion is this amazing sacred proposal from The Lord Jesus to be his Bride forever. Now it all makes sense. Taking Communion will have new meaning for me. Just when I thought I couldn't love Jesus any more this makes me fall for him all over again. :)
God is so awesome through this guy. Mike, you can't possibly know just how many peoples' lives He's changed through you, but I'm sure He'll enlighten you when you get to Heaven.

I just LOVE this !! I did not know of the relationship with the last supper and the marriage of Christ to His church. I thought it was just about the blood covenant of Him shedding His Blood for me and the remembrance of that. Thanks so much for this wonderful revelation!

I love this explanation! This plus a good reading of the last half of John chapter 6 is what makes me Catholic. Jesus is really present in the Eucharist! Praise God! :D
His explanation was easy to understand and hilarious. Towards the end when he was showing the parallels, it just made me fall in love with God and Jesus more and more.

Honestly, I was just going about my day in Electronics, I class. When, I got in RUclips, on my iPod, and this video was up?... I mean, I was watching&listening this morning before school, at home. But, I felt inclined, or as he spoke of the Holy Spirit speaking to us, like God was asking me to watch this. I responded in faith, and watched&listened. And, by thee end of the video, I was smiling, wanting to cry for joy!:'-) Is SO GOOD, isn't He?! Can I get an AMEN?!;D

This not about catholics, christians or anything in particular this is about the love of God and how he comes and dies to save us so we can have eternal life in him ..he is surely giving you who dont know him an invitation to seat and eat with him revelations 3:20
Now, I expect to get knocked for this; however, I had to share this. As a Catholic, I get to participate in this marriage proposal at minimum every Sunday and ideally every day, since Mass is offered daily. This is what the liturgy of the Eucharist is all about - celebrating this foreshadowing of the wedding feast Jesus has prepared for us in Heaven. I hope that we can all put our differences aside and appreciate with me this most amazing gift of the Last Supper, Jesus' marriage proposal to us

I have loved this song ever since the album Speaking of Silence. I have loved your band. And I loved this song. I prefer the "acoustic" version more because it just seems so much more reflective. The funny thing this is traditional Jewish marriage very similar to an Igbo tradition in Nigeria, West Africa. During the time where the groom and his family come to propose they have a saying "I saw a beautiful flower in your house..." Lol gets me all the time.
Not surprised though about the similarities, Igbos are called Jews of Nigeria.
