There is no hope without prayer. “I say unto you that ye must pray always and not faint; that ye must not perform any thing unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul.”
“And I pray the Father in the name of Christ that many of us, if not all, may be saved in his kingdom at that great and last day.”
The Savior said to the ancient inhabitants of America, “Therefore ye must always pray unto the Father in my name;
“And whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is right, believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be given unto you.
“Pray in your families unto the Father, always in my name, that your wives and your children may be blessed.”

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure.”
“I am mindful of you always in my prayers, continually praying unto God the Father in the name of his Holy Child, Jesus, that he, through his infinite goodness and grace, will keep you through the endurance of faith on his name to the end.”
Concerning the Book of Mormon, Moroni wrote, “And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
“And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.”
Nephi, a Book of Mormon prophet, wrote, “And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye-for Christ will show unto you with power and great glory that they are his words at the last day; and you and I shall stand face to face before his bar; and ye shall know that I have been commanded of him to write these things.”
All these verses and more are in the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon truly is a testimony of Jesus Christ and has been brought forth by the power of God in these latter days. Anyone who believes these words from the Book of Mormon (and I know these words are true) should contact the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to speak with the missionaries and find out for themselves that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored in these latter days.

Man I cried threw this whole video. Today is easter sunday & It is the day Jesus triumphed over darkness, satan, death, sin, & saved God's children, that, want to trust in God, but was never able to, because, sin had dominion over our soul & we needed a sacrifice to pay for our sins. Today that sacrifice we 🎖honor! Today we can live free from the kingdom of darkness, & rise up & finally be able to shine for our God & glorify his NAME! So God's sacrifice for us doesn't go in vain. We are all so blessed & where the spirit of the lord is, there is FREEDOM!🤴🙌🙏💪🏰🗻

I cant even begin to tell you how desperately I needed this message. Isaiah 43 has always been a favorite passage of mine and one I have shared many times over with others who have needed encouragement; now, I heard God's voice speaking right to me. Those words on the page of my Bible became a very real conversation between me and my God. Thank you, Jesus.

When I heard them sing this live after their charity golf tournament it was absolutely unreal. When he explained the meaning behind the song before they sang it, I was like, "wow this story is incredible," but as soon as he started singing it was straight from the heart and as if the whole earth just stopped and Jesus just took over . . . thanks so much for your hearts, Tenth Av!!

Well said. Good Friday is the worst thing that happens to the best person. Good friday was the worst friday..until Easter morning. Hallelujah!
I have had Tourette Syndrome for 8 years now. It has been an emotional roller coaster. Some days it is hard to sit, move, or anything in between. Last year, driving almost killed me. I constantly had to pull over because the pain was too real. I was devastated and angry with God. Through this past month, I have prayed to God over this and I have not had any pain while I drive and I am able to go long distances and control my tics. God is so good to His children. I am forever grateful for His peace and mercy.
Amen! God is faithful and His timing is perfect! Continue having faith! God's loves you!

I was askin God that after all this all challenges this ups and downs what are you going to teach me ? whats the point of this all troubles ,and he answered me that he teaches me to trusting him ,and he made me fearless ,and that was true i was not the previous me ,i was different ,and this song and what you are saying here is what God exactly tought me for the past 7 years ,God bless you .

Mike, I am watching this video for the first time on Good Friday after attending our Good Friday service at Westhills in Omaha, NE. God works in strange and mysterious ways. Your teaching video touches many chords in many lives. As our Pastor Derek Richman said tonight, on Good Friday we come "face to face with the mystery of God." He pointed out, as Jesus hung on that cross, his first words were, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." His forgiveness, is representative of God's willingness to forgive. Pastor Derek said "It is the miracle and mystery of forgiveness." Amen. Rob Laughlin

This song explains what I'm going through right now. in April of 2015 I was diagnosed with kidney failure and stayed in the hospital for 6 weeks and went into 7 surgeries. I've been on dialysis for 2 years now. and there are days where I asked God why is this happening ? what did I do wrong? but then I think again that he has not left me. he never will.

I lost my dad a year ago to an accident. Even though I knew that it was God's sovereign plan, my life just went downhill. I believed that God hated me and he had had enough of me. I believed God was just putting up with me because of all my sins and addictions. But this video reminded me of his promises that he made to me years ago that he'll never forsake me. Never means never, right? But my eyes are blinded and don't see his goodness. Please pray for me.
I was praying for you and he gave me this verse from the Bible for you ''God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." Even in the darkest times there will always be light. That is how much God loves us no matter what you have done he will still you and be there for you.

I love your teachings mike . They speak to my . I can relate to your guitarist but my friend died from brain cancer and tumor. Two years ago. I lost my hope I lost faith in miracles. I want to make it right with god and not question him on why he took my friend away. He was a newly wed of two years and no kids when he passed. I haven’t seen him in three months when he passed. I never got to say goodbye. I love your sympathy . I love your encouragement. God bless . Ps you shook my hand in winter jam 2017 when you went into the audience .
I know that you probably will never see this or think I am stalkerific, but I had to share with you how much this song has meant to me. When I just watched this video journal I am laying in a hospital in Nebraska on the transplant unit. They are doing all these tests to decide if we have to do the transplant now or if we can wait with other treatments a bit longer. My five year old little boy suffers from autism and mommy is his whole world,and is almost five hours away with great friends who take him to school and church with them. There have been times lately that I have lost hope, thought I couldn't get through the water, or stand the heat of facing walking through the fire. I thought God had abandoned me, and was going to take me away from my little boy. This song came out at some of the darkest days, days where pain kept me in bed and away from my boy, watching my lil man learning to talk, and it stopped me in my tracks and brought tears in my eyes, so much so tthat my son came up to me and put his head on my shoulder and said, "my momma". And, through my tears I reminded him that I am his mommy and I will fight through anything for him, and suddenly I realized that my Father in Heaven has a plan for all of this, and it may not end in a miracle for me, but it will be okay because it is His plan. You guys reminded me that when I am in pain and lonely my Father in Heaven is still there beside me. It is scary being here right now, alone because everyone has to work still in Missouri, but Nebraksa is the best and by the grace of God insrance is paying for the best doc there is. Thank you so much for this video, and I know I write a lot and haven't been shy I want to meet you guys in person prayerfully before transplant or I go home to my Father. I'm not some freak, your music has changed my life everytime I thought my life was over or if God could really see me as a child of His, and between your music and video diaries I learned I am a child of God even with a past battling anorexia, scars from cutting, and other broken pieces. I am already so grateful for what you did last summer and I know that you probably will never have time to meet me, but I'm blessed by your music and the way you share the gospel. I use to be in a fearful depression. It was kind of hard for me to be happy when I was always being depressed and defeated. Overtime God has helped me get through this and now I don't have this fearful depression and now i'm a much better person than how I use to be thanks be to God! God doesn't give up on us like we think. God is so merciful and forgiving and is longsuffering. God's Word says in 2 Peter 3:9 " The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.". But we should not use God's grace and mercy as a excuse to sin. When we sin God wants us to repent. When we do sin we are able to go to the Father and ask for His forgiveness. God's Word says in 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.". Andrea, keep marching on with the help of the Lord. Always remember that we have a enemy out there named satan who wants to destroy our lives. God's Word says in John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.". We have to fight the enemy satan with the help of God and with God's Word! God loves you so much!!!!!!!!!
Andrea Schneider I see that your post was a year ago, I pray that you may have been blessed with healing and your lil man is seeing his mommie be so strong in her faith so he can carry that with him throughout his life. I also hope that God brings you together with Micheal.

Mike when you said a tragedy occurred in your lives and that it was involving a female, I already knew it was cancer and I have a cancer scare right now to!
I have a huge lump in my right breast and I'm planning on getting it checked out soon.
I was so afraid, but when you said that about God being in the midst of us; it gave me hope and a huge smile of laughter.
I love you Mike; I mean it, you inspire me everyday to push past the odds and stand against the grains.
I just hope u guys can pray for me and everyone else here, I am very scared about what I might have...its so scary to not know, but even scarer to think you know.

Hey, Mike Donehey, you literally just encouraged me. You said everything I needed to hear today. I am going through a large tragedy I don't want to talk about and I feel like I'm going through it alone. And I really needed to hear that God was with me no matter what and that miracles do still happen. And I'm so glad Jeff's sister-in-law is cancer-free! God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good. He remains the same forever. He is faithful and just, and just like He said He would, He's leading us through the fire, through the waters, through every tragedy we face.

I am not a committed Christian, but surely you make me rethink about how I believe.
