Yeah ! If there are no heating issues then it seems like a very balanced portable, touch enabled laptop. The battery and display are main reasons to buy it.

Do NOT buy the P version of the Precessor with the MX550 dedicated GPU...I bought the 12th Gen P version with the MX55O...it Overheated and thermal throttled BAD. I have the same Version with the 12th Gen I5 U version and it performed better bcos of lower Wattage 15 max vs 28w. The MX550 is weak and in my 4k video test was only 13 percent ahead on a 4K video edit....The main issue in there is one Fan to cool the thin laptop...the Oled screen is nice but compared to the regular screen it's slightly better and sharper...the P version of the CPU bairly got above 2.5 ghz even when plugged in...the Hardware like he said is awesome but you are better off getting a dedicated laptop with a nicer screen for the performance....Also a great review!
Something like this would be great, as I'd be looking for something that would not be a let-down from my old XPS15 in terms of build quality, trackpad, keyboard, screen etc. But at the same time have relatively lower end specs in order to keep the price down, as I no longer need a powefull laptop when I have a desktop. Something like this looks pretty good, but I'm also considering getting into the "FrameWork" eco-system and sticking to them when it comes to laptops, as it may be a better choice in the long run.
I have been using HP ENVY a convertible laptop for 3 yrs now and trust me it felt cool to use it at first in tablet mode but after a while i didn't even care about it, it's just a waste of money IMO. Buy a normal laptop. I don't mean to talk anything bad about this laptop btw, it's just the convertibles
Laptop would be perfect but it has a known and consistent issue with the touchpad where it taps, swipes randomly and has inaccurate finger tracking. Dell are yet to resolve this issue.
You talk about how nice the speakers are, but we don't get to hear them at all. I also don't expect this laptop to run cool with an MX550. Its interesting to see how Dell screws up their inspiron laptops somehow. All they need to do is release an Inspiron 16 (non 2-in-1) with a Zen3+ processor with upgradable RAM and storage. No dedicated GPU.
Good to see, how dell improved their speakers position in the 2 in 1s from bottom to top. But it woulve been better if they had improved the digital arts part too. Improve the digitizer pen jitters, lags also.
This is a good combination of specs for what I hope will be a similar price point to the current gen 12 Inspirons. I do wish that HDMI port was at least 2.0 rather than just 1.4, that's a shame. And I agree, I wish the brightness went up to 500 nits, 400 nits isn't terrible, but 500 nits would be much better. Heck, 500 nits might be high end for most laptops, but there are cell phones that go up to 1200 nits and more. Do you know, does this 4k Oled screen have any kind of anti-glare or anti-reflection coating like found on the xps line? Also, do you know, does this go up to a 120Hz refresh rate, ideally adjustable, or is it strictly 60Hz? Again, I can deal with just 60Hz, but 120Hz that can be used when plugged in but adjusted down to either variable or a fixed lower level like 60Hz when I go on battery and want to extend battery life, that would be great. And I thought of one more question: That camera shutter in the top bezel was always great to close when not in use so people can't hack in and see you thru the camera; but now I see what appear to be multiple camera type lenses in the upper bezel that are outside that shutter, apparently used for those new security features like locking up if you step away and reopening automatically when you sit back down, so aren't those now adding security risk that the shutter not being over them can't help protect being viewed by hackers? Oh, and one more question. Lol. Do you know what those prices you list would be in US dollars? Thanks. And thanks for a very useful, and timely video review. Thumbs up!

I personally dont find 2-in-1 laptops useful. I had a HP pavilion x360 few years back and I hardly remember using the touch screen. For me, they should have a non-convertable version as well for a bit cheaper price.
@@mobashshirhrihan6736 if you are ok with sluggishness of a windows laptop touchscreen, then fine. For a good spec convertible laptop you have to pay almost 20 to 30k extra compared to the good spec one without touchscreen. In that case its always better to buy a tablet seperately.
@@donjogeorge1110 But with a tablet, I can't do everything I can do with my laptop. Tablet is basically a smartphone with a larger display. So, if you already own a good smartphone, buying tablet is a complete waste of money. In my 2 in 1 laptop I do coding and developing most of the time, then when I am not working, I just flip it to tablet mode and enjoy movie. A 2 in 1 will always have a better quality display compared to its regular counterpart, so the extra price is 100% worth it. Besides, I use Linux, I have never faced any sluggishness in touch input.
Yes, and when the hinge lifts up the body then all the weight goes to the hinge, and ultimately laptops' weakest part is the hinge which eventually breaks. Secondly OLED screens are grainy .
