Just picked one up during holiday sale season as a open box model with 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD storage and 13th Gen Evo i7 with Intel Iris xe graphics - it literally came without a box and the cords in a bag 😂. At $615 I think I got a good deal and am returning the HP Envy 2-1 360 14' with the same specs i just picked up a couple weeks prior. Defintely satisifed with the purchase though.

Thank you for the helpful review! I would like to know if the sound experience is still very good when using it as a tablet, since the speakers would be at the back. Is it easy to accidentally hit the a keyboard button when using it as a tablet? And also, specs-wise, do you think that it is worth the price difference as compared with the Inspiron 16 (with AMD Ryzen 7 8840U & Hawk Point)? I would like to use it for programming, using Microsoft Office apps or watching videos. Would appreciate your advice, thank you!

I wouldn't count on the sound experience when using it in Tablet mode. The keyboard is disabled while in tablet mode so no worries there. Between this and regualr Insp 16 I'd go w regular. I dont use tablet modes on these things.

I have this device. Mine came with a pen but that might have been a promo that Best Buy ran because I bought on Black Friday. With 16 GB RAM, there isn't much I can't do. It plays most caual STEAM games, it's quiet and the keyboard feel a little the a Mac (which I like). Nice review that I'd agree with.

Has anyone else had issues with the power cord adapter getting extremely hot after less than a half hour of being plugged in? At which point it stops charging at 75%. Once I unplug it, it starts to cool down. I haven't even played any games on it yet. Even though I have a laptop desk with a cooling fan, I'm worried about the power cord itself. In Canada a stupid country where we are using the same products the USA does but are just more taxed this computer as of Feb. 23rd 2024 costs 1 150 CAD $ BEFORE TAX. Also Dell has warranty options going for 1 to 4 years, now there is a 1 year warranty by law to every product anyway but 4 years warranty costs a stupid 809 CAD$ like 70% of the actual price of the computer in extra!!! WTF DELL? Also they have option to charge 50$ to transfert your data of your older computer to the newer? 50$ to use a USB or something? Also there is a extended battery service. What does it means no idea. 1 year 80$ 2 years 90$.
So if you buy all the dell extra protection plus office etc th cost of the laptop hits an insane 2 902,50 CAD $ BEFORE our taxes of roughly 15%.
    Final price 3100 CAD $.
now does this machine is worth this price? Or should you buy a macbook pro 16 at a price very similar?
I am not a mac boy I have never owned a mac but the comparaison seems to make te 16 inch macbook pro a better choice.

My new Dell inspiron 16 7620 is a very fragile, plastic, bendy, flexy piece of crap. The onboard touchpad mouse is unusable as it goes crazy all the time and makes using the laptop impossible. I use a usb mouse to sidestep that. The keyboard has certain keys that sometimes simply do not work (M, T, B and W). Repeated smashes of the key in question will generally make it start working again.
The 2 in 1 design has weak, plastic hinges that will break and the Dell warranty does not cover this. They suggest contacting sales department for a repair quote.
