I feel like the devs will make a lot of money if they make a deadlock 2 where it’s a alternate history where the cylons didn’t destroy all of the colonies
Was expecting the Valkyrie to be alot cheaper since it seems to be the newer modern Adamant Frigate in-game. So far I see only 4 top battlestar artillery.
@@RicardosGaming i was expecting 1 fighter hanger, no rapters. or 1 fighter and 1 rapter. but either way i was expecting 2 missile bays or a quick reload bay that can be fired every turn or something..
Fabian Kirchgessner making smart use of that pods. The made me feel that they strip down the modern ships since the colonies thought the cylons won’t come back.
I really wanted a cylon Campaign , no modern Cylon heavy raider ? no head to head campaign ? no mark 3's 4's 5's or 6's vipers ? No ambush matches or scouting missions or Quorum diplomacy (making sure you diversity quota on officers being from multiple colonies) choices to keep things in balance . No salvaging missions or reserve ships being jumped in later to battle ? No update to create your own officer . I thought a cylon Campaign would of been epic , especially since they explained the origins of the cylon fleet was stolen ships from Scorpia and a few other places (Revenant being a modified Scorpia gunship) . The 12 colonies would need to be raided and the Cylon's would have to change from being hunted to then being the hunters as they improved their vessels . This would give the initiative to the cylon player to pick which systems to attack and pull colonial forces away as the cylon player could choose the place of engagement . Just thinking aloud , I love BSG Deadlock , I just see more could be done with it .
You are absolutely right. I was hoping for more to be honest. I am not disappointed mind you but I do wonder if there is more to the battlestar licence. When speaking to Slitherine they mentioned that Season 2 marks the end of the Deadlock story arc. This to me implies there could be more on the way. I AM HOPEFUL .... I hope not deluded 😃
@@RicardosGaming Same here . BSG Deadlock kept getting better and better . I rate it up there with Warhammer 2 Total War in terms of strategy . For a ship battle strategy there is nothing like BSG . The fleet compositions and armaments with mines , missiles and nukes along with PCM's made it a very diverse strategy and a particularly unique one . The music got better and the devs got more ambitious and technical with the game . I just felt with such flavour being put into the 12 colonies and the cylon ships I'm not quite ready to be done with BSG Deadlock but if the devs say they have finished the arc they have finished the arc . Just wish a Cylon Campaign would of been made to really top it off . So say we all .
@Fabian Kirchgessner all fairness, a lot of these ships are not cannon to an extent and other things. Besides, its a big universe. Maybe 2 years down the line, an Operation Outreach package might drop
The best part of the Mercury class is the devs have recently updated it to have 3 full squadrons and 1 support squad instead of just 2 which gives it a bigger edge against the Cylons! The Mercury is my all time favorite Battlestar followed by the Valkyrie then Jupiter class, yes I like Pegasus more than the Galactica but not her crew. I am of the opinion that Adama should've put his "flag" on the Pegasus after Cain's death and his promotion.
This feels terrible still no roleplay with having a reserve squadron of vipers. Wasnt the pegasus capable of manufacturing replacement vipers, no show of this............and no campaign to use these ships. For frak sake..............for the love of the gods allow us to mod this game you corporate cylons!!!!
@Fabian Kirchgessner LOL im just bitter cause i can just imagine what the modding community could do for this game. It feels like they would rather sell DLC then sell more base game copies because of modding. Im at the point of feeling that there is no longevity in this game to warrant buying right now..............i might as well wait a couple of years and buy all the DLC at basement prices. These devs have no imagination.....wheres the vs mode for campaign, or co op mode etc etc........if youve played divinity sins 2 with other people that game clearly shows turnbased mode is popular.

And I would spend a lot of money
Well, Battlefleet Gothic got a sequel so here’s to hoping.

yeah know what you mean but it is a support Battlestar

Wow! 8 front facing Battlestar artillery for the Mercury! Those are some Gatekicker firepower I’m excited to look at those models in detail.
KNOCK ON THE DOOR!
@ricardo so the mercury has no top/ventral guns? In the show it seems that most of its guns are in the midrib
@@werty1160 will have to check - to be honest the amount onthe front I did not think to check the top and bottom

@Fabian Kirchgessner Plus 2 more under the chin in front.

@@NightshadeX85 agree.... I am hopeful by his ambiguous reply.... we will have to wait.... as for music, new music tracks with this update
I was hoping they would have put in the Nova Class Prometheus in

I can’t tell you how good these look and joy, it’s too bad Valk didn’t make it in campaign but it’s still good
I had a feeling they were gonna go for something like this. Maybe they’ll do a sort of campaign with these ships?? like a what if scenario and bits?
The empire at war mod Wat of the colonies followed that path

Its pretty good, but shame the replay videos are completely bugged, mine keeps freezing
I also had some crashes when in PHOTO MODE which is part of the Daybreak free updates but touch wood these seem to have stabilised
Thanks.
Thanks
Those Mercury CLass Battlestars are fantastic
