Pressing / shows turret firing arcs for a selected ship without going into the submenus. This is useful when moving your ships to align your firing arcs, and for checking their range. You can see where turrets are physically located by using the space menu > turrets and hovering over a selected group. They'll be highlighted on a ship. For example, the forward guns of a janus are mounted beneath it, so it generally needs to be above its target.
Anyone else notice that the Reinforcement Pack in Campaign mode completely eliminates Cylon basestars from the gameplay, with the exception of Chapter missions where the Cylon ships are pre-assigned? I've played the game from start to finish, twice, on Admiral level of difficulty and literally not a single basestar except the last few Chapter missions.
Awesome. My son not only has one of your Manticors named after him, but now an entire ship class. Good vid. I was wondering if you were ever going to play again
Sam SH Oh absolutely. The Janus is actually quite old by BSG standards, although this is offset by its excellent armor and 3 possible munitions. However it’s slow speed and large size make it an easy target to spot.
Are we sure it's pronounced Jay-nus and not Ya-noos? I read it as Ya-noos as a lot of countries make the J a soft sounding, not hard. Want to make sure since I am not familiar with the fluf very well or names of other ships.
it is it is. just gonna take me longer than I have the patience for. depending on what happens with christmas I'm going to get the cpu for christmas. motherboard, ram, and OS will all have to await for another day
I thought the same way until I tried it at a buddies house. It does take some getting used to but once you get into it, holy shit you're in for a ride.

I love the Berserk class. I always have at least 1 or 2 in each fleet.
Bezerker didn't ram the Arachne. It just ducked under it while pummeling it with its guns.
Bless the Berzerker 😀
I would be down to watching this.

Absolutely ;)
Great video Agrippa
Nice video man. Can you do more on the dlc?
For sure :)
I'm still waiting for the price to come down from what I've read there still needs more added to it.
a starwars mod for this game would be awesome.
y not
if you say so
I was just thinking that.
I have the BSG mod for star wars FOC.Has berzerkers and most main vessels.
I'd pay alot for a Babylon 5 game similar to this. It could start with the Earth - Dilgar war and build from that.
If you buy the reinforcement pack, van you use the Colonial ships in it in the campaign, anyone?
Yes Sir... Do a Cylon vid :)
Just found the channel and subscribed. I've got a question. Is there a big difference between the Janus and the ranger class?
Sam SH Oh absolutely. The Janus is actually quite old by BSG standards, although this is offset by its excellent armor and 3 possible munitions. However it’s slow speed and large size make it an easy target to spot.
Sam SH Also welcome aboard 😀
i only bought this game last week and im gutted i did not buy it on its release day.

Sorry to hear that howler :( time for an upgrade

thous Cylon Destroyers are a pain in the god damn ass to get rid of in the campaign
how come all these guys making youtube videos into scifi gaming and or UFOs Have Lisps? I mean like nearly all of them... ?
Haha first time I have been told I have a Lisp.
Learning that this is a turn-based game totally killed the thrill for it.

That's why u watch the replay video to get a thrill from watching the game with no turns and watch it like a movie after the battle
