  • Photojournalist Alessio Romenzi has covered conflicts all over the world for the past few decades, including ISIS in Libya, Iraq and Syrian wars, winning a World Press Photo award for his work. His work gives people the opportunity to glimpse how abnormal war is and document it for posterity (OR the history books).

This is the Vice we are longing for. Pure raw journalism, from the frontline.

  • @storm2000808

This journalist expresses his feelings about these photographs with so much emotion that I could actually feel the pain and the fear... I think he deserves an award!

  • @rossrobbins7707

This guy is so brave. I can't imagine going through these wars 😢

  • @geinikan1kan

This is one of the best Developing News I have watched and I consider these videos to be excellent, the series examples I have seen. This series reveals how one photograph can ripple out in meaning. In our Instagram world, meaningful photography still has a place. Each photo has a narrative of life and death behind it.

  • @nicolelewonkenobi

I love hearing from the photographers about the context of their photos.

Not a sheep in the middle of wolves...

Getting accustomed to someone else's pain...a process that must tear away part of your soul.

  • @VictorGoldfeld

  • @vengeancewillbemine3440

I'm always grateful for the brave photographers whom risk their lives to bring the world news from the frontline.

  • @theweedusama

This is the content we wanted. Thanks Vice

My father was a photo journalist. Worked in South Africa during their revolution. I don't think my father went there intending to be in the "thick of it" he mostly took photos of leaders (I got some great photos of Mandela and De Klerk).

  • @Tango_Mike

I really can't express just how admired I am about these guys. War time photographers are a different breed. 👏👏👏😢

  • @Sobabe-el5ke

The fact that we get free videos on RUclips by VICE News is truly a gift. 👏👏👏👏👏

  • @NewGenerationalNews

He is such an amazing photojournalist/man because you can tell he’s very passionate about his work and doesn’t just do it for the money…

  • @curtisdaniel9294

This Photojournalist really brings the old adage "a picture is worth a thousand words. " Many Thanks to him and all the People who spend time in a war zone to be able to tell and/or show us what is going on. And Thanks to VICE news for their help, too.

  • @pannicola

Another great reportage, learning from the best💪

  • @refigee8752

It really is insane how much pain and suffering we continue to inflict on each other through senseless wars. Self destruction seems to come as second nature to us

  • @rossrobbins7707

    Love this series!

  • @Rainberna

This is a video to remember. All of us, no matter where you live, could end cought up in the middle of a war.
