@@g.h.7661 German women were r@ped by Russian soldiers at the end of WWII. It's estimated that "Russia left one million of its bastards behind" to quote one Soviet soldier. However, these German women were not shunned. My great-aunt by marriage had one of these babies and my great-uncle adopted him. They just kept their chins up and moved on in Germany - fully functioning members of society. The prevalence of the r@pes became obvious when a female journalist's book was posthumously published. The title was "Eine Frau in Berlin" (A Woman in Berlin). I highly recommend reading it. The German woman who wrote the book was intelligent, educated and resilient. The book changed my life.

True. No matter where on the earth you live- from china, America to the Congo. If only women could band together to protect one another- instead of falling victim to male chauvinism and competing against each other for a man’s approval. It saddens me. But what can we do?

Patriarchal beliefs across Africa are largely to blame for this. In most African countries, women are not treated with the respect they deserve, not to mention the incompetence of most African leaders. As an African, sometimes it feels like being born on this continent was a curse, a punishment of some sort.
Honestly, africans are good people with great family values, admirable people, but these type of things goes on in wars, sadly, USA for example also did the same thing in the Vietnam war, they would r*pe women and little girls, leaving a bunch of women pregnant, and those women were disowned by the Vietnam society, the Nazis did the same thing in Europe, the Spaniards did the same thing in Latin America. These war crimes have to stop all around the world

Isobel Yeung is a brave and intelligent woman as well as being a phenomenal journalist. This story must have been extremely emotional for her (and her crew). We can see the pain on her face and the tears she was holding back as she was rightfully affected by the emotional stories of all these women and children who have been raped. Not only that but just being there also put her self in danger of the same potential outcome. Isobel goes where many other journalists won't even think of going and brings us the whole story directly from the mouths of those she interviews. Her own take is a summary of what she learns. I hope we can continue to see her for years to come but I hope even more that she never has to experience any of the horrors she's ever investigating.
God is cruel And this is Gods Plan, death and destruction. Adam and Eve had Kane and Abel, whom did Kane and Abel have children to? Other humans? From where? the timeline doesnt fit. First ever and only humans created by God were Adam and Eve. God stopped creating humans at Adam and Eve. did he create other humans aside from Adam and Eve? No mention of it though in the bible. Dont say Yes, Kane and Abel. Adam and Eve created Kane and Abel, not God. God created 2 humans, who would rather have sex and be sent to hell, then stay in heaven which is boring and strict as Church is x1000 humans created 8billion humans lol All the fun you enjoy with your family.will not exist in heaven youll be sitting on a church bench, quietly for Eternity. Tell you what, how about since we can help other countries with billions of dollars for aid in war, how about we do something about this! We obviously have the means. This is what this country of ours should be helping in. 😢
You're doing something already. The drugs, funds and guns the criminals are using, who do you think provides them? Where do you think Apple, Google and Tesla get their raw materials?
Children overcome things easier. I know I did. People just feel that way about children because they feel protective over them. But adults can go through worse trauma as a result because they understand the wider implications and they have fewer supports. Older adults feel just the same way about children being hurt as they do about adults who are their children’s ages. It’s all about the experience you’re going through as an observer, rather than the experiences of individual victims. The only thing I’d say would be worse for a child is if it’s their first sexual experience, which can happen at any age.
This is a little-known tragedy for the women and children of the DRC and affects all of humanity. Thank you for exposing these atrocities. It must stop.
When i saw that poor child confused and crying i almost couldn't hold it together. Knowing that Masika Katsuva is dead made me shed a tear. This poor community, they're constantly being tortured and majority of people don't even know about it. Women are so strong and resilient, is what I see in this documentary. Women are mostly peaceful and very able to cooperate with each other. Who are the war makers in the world, it is the men. I celebrate and honor all women and I pray that these women that have been so brutally violated and abused can find solace in each others presence. May they stay safe and healthy from now on
Men cause the vast majority of violence, sexual abuse and trauma in this world. And misogyny is so normalised that we don't realise how rampant it is, and how much damage it does to society.
Hold on now, I understand what you mean, but you have to understand that there are women who don't care about other women and children either. They are part of the problem too.
You have to be joking. Women are the ones who are the least empathetic and impossible to work with, at least in Europe, and as soon as there is peace they F it up, like they have in Europe voting for massmigration that has caused massive v1ol1nece and problems. In this case yes, the women are obviously not to blame for this.. don't compare these Africans to Europeans tho. We're not the same. Never have been and never will be.

Misandry hates on men but misogyny kills women. Now tell me again how both of them are equally bad? I hope one day men will be scared of even looking the wrong way at women and children and won't even think about touching them without permission
This post presents a false dichotomy. Patriarchy and sexism harms everyone, and often harms women more intensely as well as more frequently, but can and does hurt men and has the potential to put them through just as much trauma and even daily drives some men to suicide. There's no need to pretend it's boys vs girls! Everyone should be able to agree the patriarchal and exploitative culture we live under around the world is terrible and that it affects everyone, but is more often worse for women. It's not a zero-sum situation, and the fact that most aggressors are male does need mean most males are aggressors - although all men have a responsibility to be aware of the damaging culture around them and how they interact with it. I think the most frustrating thing about being a feminist is being constantly made aware that my female comrades do not often feel compelled to hold themselves to the same standard of conduct as they hold men to.
It sounds like you want misandry to become as bad as misogyny, which not only won’t help to solve misogyny issue, but will only make things worse. Men and women are not enemies, while certain beliefs are.
