MJD and Fred Taylor are two very underrated RB's in my opinion.
Fred Taylor was as talented as anybody in his era. Injuries hurt his career but still his size, speed, and ability to make people miss was absolutely elite. He also ripped off a ton of long ass runs
Fred Taylor played for any other team and he's a 1st ballot hall of famer. Jags small market killed the hype for him.
@@travismannix5178 he's still 15th greatest rb stat wise to ever do it. Injuries and a super small market in Jacksonville is the only thing that's keeping out of the Hall he should have been 1st ballot
Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew are EASILY one of the absolute greatest Running Back duos in the history of the game!
This was also after fred had tore it up for years he had slowed a step no way 1990s fred gets caught from behind
It's probably over your head a little but they both were on steroids
@@randyjohnson6845And you know this how??? Clown 🤡
Beautiful sight to see! Need that energy back in Jacksonville
To everyone writing negative comments about the Jags, saying things like, "What's so special about this?". We are Jags fans. Being a Jags fan ain't easy. Just let us have some tiny bit of joy. LET US HAVE IT. DEER GAWD.
Haha I'm intrigued by this years Jags so I looked up the only full jags game I could find on the entire internet. This, and a 2007 game on this channel is it.
I'm just amazed on how thers is not a flag on every other play?? NFL is garbage in2019
@@brettreason484 1996?
No one cares about your failure of a franchise. You guys suck at playing football like Urban Meyer sucks at coaching.
whats so special?? this was a hall of fame player dominating a division rival.
Bring back those uniforms, Jacksonville.
You know your team means business when your head coach wears a suit and tie on the sideline
Favorite football game in NFL history. So happy its on youtube
Yeah, it must be sad that the greatest moment in the history of the Jags franchise is a regular season win over a division rival they occasionally beat. Lol
@@P0RKINS2 you don’t watch Jags games or even the NFL for that matter Lmaoooo

You sound butthurt about it w/ all those assumptions you just made.
2:30 damn Brandon Stokley😂😂
DeSean Jackson #jaccpot #0ne0fone #1hunna lol😂
It was all downhill from there.
That wasn't all Stokley's fault. The pass was underthrown, and Stokley would've had to reach back while running full speed on a deep pass. It was a lot tougher than it looks.
Stokley has 2 rings though lol.
Fred Taylor and MJD are the best 2 HB Duo
Erikson58 _ W
Erikson58 _ Nah its LenDale White and Chris Johnson
They're top 15, but not the best. Walter Payton and Roland Harper are #1
Bo Jackson & Marcus Allen #1 hands down.
DeAngelo Williams and Johnathan Stewart
As a Colts fan, it's safe to say nobody expected a Super Bowl after this game. Bob Sanders coming back was huge.
You're right. I'm a Jags fan and I was at that game. Later it was amazing to me that, as bad as they looked, the Colts never lost again that season and won the SB, though it was more like the Monsoon Bowl.
Fred Taylor! Loved me some Jags on the ol 2k1 2k2 games I used to mop up with 28 all day.
Fred and Maurice was a deadly combination this year. Almost unstoppable if they got going.
wish they won a ring but 07 was their only shot
I am a Patriots fan. But damn, MJD is without a doubt my favorite non patriot of all time. He's just such s fun player to watch. And Taylor is great as well. And while Kevin Faulk is my favorite running back. MJD is still amazing

Also we could have picked him in the draft, but nope picked Laurence Maroney.
If Pearman would have got 29 more yards on that last drive then the Jags would have 3 players with 100 yards rushing. Wow
1:14:25 Jack Del Rio in a suit. That's what coaches are meant to look like.
wish we never let him go
it's not nba
True, although I don't think I'd want to wear a dark suit in Miami, Tampa Bay, or Arizona in September
You can do that in Arizona cause you have a freaking dome

This is Bob Sanders should've won the SB mvp this year. Because they couldn't stop anyone before he came back
C S bob sanders is one of my all time favorite strong safety’s
Jag fan, loved Bobbi Sanders passion bro... Only the best leave it on the field...
Well... Peyton still managed to get his ring. With THAT defense. This itself can close GOAT discussions.
I'm a Colts fan, so I loved this season ultimately. But to be fair, our defense was pretty thoroughly hurt for most of the season. We ended up getting Bob Sanders back late. He was called the "Eraser" because he erased gouging runs that the front seven couldn't stop. The reason our run D was so bad was because he was hurt for most of the season. When they got healthy, they were good enough to be Super Bowl champions. Peyton actually had lackluster stats in the postseason, but it ended up not mattering because we had a great run game and a finally healthy defense for the playoffs. Adam Vinatieri helped a lot too, especially in the Division round lol

Alvin "Permian" seriously?
they should always remember
Fred Taylor MJD And Garrard was a nightmare for us 😔 Jacksonville was the ultimate trap game that season.

Best tandem in NFL history playing for the same team at the same time in their prime...
the all black jerseys for one of the best
Maurice Jones Drew brought me here as he was my favorite running back as a kid started watching some of his games and highlights enjoying this watch. I quickly realize how much better the NFL was back then from the officiating to the commentary to coaches wearing suits this was an era I dearly miss.
Same. I became a lifelong Jags fan because I used to watch MJD from my living room in Mississippi.
Those were the days
I love this
one of the best del rio jags games ever
to bad gus cant get it done like this

Let's Go ! Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew killing the Colts !!!
This season was so exciting to watch . Jones drew an fred taylor.. my god
And MJD was a monster
it still doesn't make sense to have the colts in the AFC south, it should be Miami they really need to change that"
There's a lot of those things that don't make sense. When the Rams were in St. Louis, it made no sense to put them in the NFC West while the Cowboys were in the NFC East, despite the Cowboys being farther west at the time. I think for the most part, the only division that seems right geographically is the NFC North, and the NFC West with the Rams back in LA. Others you could argue for any division having a different combination of teams based on location.
TheRenegadeChampion The NFC South makes sense, They're all in the same region"
not going to move miami out of the AFC East fool with heated rivalries with the Jets, Bills, Pats,
MICOLE WHYTE They moved the colts out of the AFC East, I think they move a team if they wanted to.
STAND YOUR GROUND! The Colts didn't have a heated rivalry with anyone they were the odd team out. Also they were a NFL team when the NFL and AFL merger. The Bills. Dolphins, Jets, Patriots, all were in the AFL together.
I forgot how good Maurice Jones-Drew was
10 years later they decide to throw out a full game. 🤔
Lev Bell and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are like the new Fred Taylor MJD
Still Tough to watch.. How the Colts Season ended that year was So Surprising! Super Bowl Champions!
I was there with my wife at the time. It was so much excitement in the stadium!!
Mercedes was a young rookie lol
Fred is the 🐐
Ahhhhhh manning's legendary 3 wide single back offense 😍
My boys!!!
Bob sanders was the colts defensive whisperer
I remember watching this live on tv as a kid the first year I really started watching football. A young Chargers fan from Indy so due to tv blackout rules I was stuck watching this on cbs. I remember being pissed but boy did that change when I just got to watch these two beasts tear that defense apart! Picked MJD in fantasy the next year as well as CJ2k and won my first championship that year!😂😂
As a Colts fan I hated this game and was too disgusted at first to click on it. But then I remembered that this was a catalyst game that woke us up and sent us on our way to the championship. I don't think we win Superbowl XL without enduring this humiliating loss.
Fred I remember him
Who else watching this high af? 😎
Isn't this crazy how there's no flag on every other play? NFL is Trash now... Stick to college and the new league
The first game i remember watching and becoming the die-hard Jaguar fan I am today 🐆
I remember watching this as a Colts fan. I was pissed. 😂😂😂
It's crazy how there is not a flag on every other play...
I don’t care about stats, awards, accolades…THAT Jags D-line, with Henderson and Thorne, most beastly D-line EVER!! 👍🏻
I was at this game :)

How great is it to see Peyton spin it like that
Fred Taylor and MJD deadly RB Combo
I'm just seeing this video of the game. Wow, what a team the Jaguars would have now if we had two RB's like Fred Taylor and MJD along with a passer like Trevor Lawrence! It would be a Super Bowl express team.
Go Jags from this Jags fan from Indiana
how many drops are the colts gonna have??
those reebok suits were fire
Best Jags uniforms! 👍🏾
Bull, the teal that they sport now is fire
deanglo and Kevin when dey are working are dangerous
Fun Fact: This Colt's defense was the worst defense to ever win a Super Bowl.
Not true. Just a bad run defense. Sanders, Bethea, Jennings, June, Brackett, Freeney, and Mathis all ended up as pro bowlers.
Tony Gilbert linebacker for the Jags in this came. 2022 and he's now a jags linebacker coach... full circle....
I love the nfl
I remember this game. As soon as that first big run came from Fred Taylor I knew it wasn’t gonna be good for Indy.
It's safe to say Bob sanders made a huge difference even though I'm a packers fan I was rooting for McNair and that elite ravens defense to win the 2006 super bowl
The jags need these unis back
Sadly the Jaguars would collaspse after this game losing their final 3 straight to miss the playoffs they would make it to the divsional round next year. Very underrated years in Jacksonville in the mid-2000s
the besides 1999 the 2007 team is probably their best ever since they became a franchise in 1995

is this the same year the colts won the super bowl?
Jags had a nice run of success from 2004-07.
04: 9-7
05: 12-4 (Made WC)
06: 8-8
07: 11-5 (Won WC, Lost Div)
They haven’t had a stretch like that since. Maybe Meyer and Lawrence turn it around?
If they didn't run into the 07 patriots I wonder if they could of made the super bowl , besides the 1999 team this is their best team in franchise history lmao

Garrard was a really good pocket passer.
Pretty insane this Colts defense allowed 375 yards rushing in this game...then allowed just 331 over 4 games in the postseason on the way to their only Super Bowl in the Peyton Manning era. Another example of how valuable Bob Sanders really was.
This is the first time I ever cried after a football game... Gimme a break I was 8. But I still remember being inconsolable and hating David Garrard for the next week
