I seen players that accomplish far less than what Fred Taylor, Jimmy Smith, Mark Brunnell, and Kennean McCardell and still got into the HOF before these guys, just bcuz they played in a bigger market than these guys. That's why I don't respect the HOF anymore. The HOF use to be the pinnacle fraternity, now its just politics, biased, nepotism, shitshow of a circus. Sad of what it has become of it.

Why does it have to be large market team to be in the HOF? Football is football. No, matter if you played in New York or Jacksonville. Fred Taylor and a lot of other Jacksonville jaguars played against the best, competed against the best, had great games against the best, and defeated the best of best nfl had to offer during their era. Now, they can't get in the HOF just because they play in a "smaller market?" That sounds biased as hell. That's not football, thats politics! Sad bro! Btw, Green Bay Packers play in a small market, and don't seem to not have any problems getting their players in the HOF.

      Definitely not the same reason.
Tony career being short while being a LT for a left handed QB is a real negative.
Jimmy off the field issues will always be considered even though they shouldn’t be.
People do hate the Jags but that’s not what’s holding these guys back.

You better go back and recheck your sources. Seriously. He was blistering, he outran corners and safeties found out the hard way the angles they took didn't get the job done.
He was, absolutely blistering. He ran a lot between the tackles, so the traffic necessitated jump cuts and footwork, not just north south, but he turned corners at will and was gone, if the play sent him that way.
I've watched Fred Taylor since his high school days. All thru his Gator career, and into the pro's.
He was run way too hard, but held up a long long time.
I've worked out QB'S for Urban, at Florida, run D-1's for tryouts all over the state of Florida and many SEC , ACC schools. Have been close to pro levels since the early 70's.
Fred Taylor was Elite. Still is.
