This 2007 AFC Wild Card match-up against the Steelers marked the second playoff appearance in 3 seasons for the Jaguars. However, they were still looking for their first playoff victory since 1999. Jacksonville looked like they were going to cruise to a victory after leading 28-10 entering the fourth quarter, but Ben Roethlisberger mounted a serious comeback to take a 29-28 lead. Jack Del Rio's Jaguars responded though with a game winning Josh Scobee 25-yard field goal with only 37 seconds remaining.

Ben threw 3 picks, jags won a playoff game, scobee makes a field goal. Sounds like a game on madden
He threw 16 INT's in 11 starts last year.
^ he is right roethlisberger is a turnover machine.
and scobee was good back then, and the jags are on the rise
He's top 30 all time in interception %, far from a turnover machine
remember the ravens game week 4 scobee
that 4th and 2 run is one of the most iconic plays in jags history
No lie I've watched every game and I mean all of them (head scratching losses and DUMB ASS losses too😭😭😭😭😭) but the Garrard run is my all-time favorite.
yeah it features one of the twenty holds on james harrison that went uncalled . fixed farce of a game.
@@orgasmatronrickpsych 😂😂😂
My all time favorite in our 26 year history
@@orgasmatronrickpsych You should know all about fixed games (Super Bowl 40)…….
The Jacksonville Jaguars became the first team to win two games in Pittsburgh in one season.
Daniel Novosad Deja Vu. They did it again this season
This Jaguars team was very high quality, and their linebacking corp was great. Ingram, Smith and Durant were all really good.
I hate that Stroud was good even though he was a DE.
Hey that's pretty good
Good game!
These Jags uniforms are way better than what they have today.
The new Jaguars helmet is ugly and they use too much of the dark gold for their jerseys
+GalvatronVGC Yeah I wish they would use that Jaguars teal more
I like there golden one do u but yea the helm t is ugly
They need to go back to the old Helments
I agree
Another reason why we steelers hate josh scobee
lol
footballfan763 I wuz gonna say that
I love Jack del rio's Jaguars. Ima saints fan but this team was tough as nails
Don't forget in the last 20 years the Jaguars have more playoff wins than the Cowboys!
Still true.
Favorite Jags game ever!!! Man the Jags woulda won the Super bowl that year had they beat the Patriots, which I think they would've if Northcutt didn't drop that pass at the 1 yard line. I'll never forget this game as a Jags fan. Only team in NFL history to beat the steelers twice at home in a season. Go Jags & we're finally back now.
sorry but they would lost to the giants it was their season
David Houghton I agree. By the way my favorite thing about that game is that it was played in Pittsburg. That made it that much better. You could sense all the air leaving the stadium when Garrard picked up that first down on that 4th and 2 at the end. Classic.
David Houghton Do you happen to remember which year it was that Derrick Mason (Ravens) dropped the ball in the endzone against Pittsburgh in the playoffs and we (Pittsburgh) went on to win.
David Houghton There I knew the pats was gonna lose the Super Bowl
David Houghton they may be given a chance to do it again if they beat the Bills today.
Three teams from the AFC South made the playoffs that year
went to play Tom Brady and lost by a Dennis Northcut drop. coulda played in the super bowl that year. best two man run game. Freddy T. And Jones-Drew. go jags!
Cheatriots won by 11. How would a dropped pass have made a difference? But I'll agree with you about Taylor and Jones-Drew, they were a fantastic team.
IT HAPPENED AGAIN!
4:45 Big Ben 31-yard Pass to Ward
11:18 N. Davenport 1-yard TD Run

27:53 Big Ben Sacked by Spicer
34:47 Ward 33-yard Catch and Run off tip
35:55 Mathis Pick Six
40:12 Mathis Picks Off Ben Again
44:14 Jones-Drew 43-yard TD Catch from D. Garrard
47:40 Big Ben Sacked by Landri

who do you think will win the super bowl
+Adrian Piedra wut?
+Adrian Piedra my Browns
Can you guys make the "Road To Super Bowl 51" videos, like you did for Super Bowl 50?
Hungry Hippos 69 cool
Man wtf. Jags own the Steelers lmao
The Steelers have always had a tough time with the Jaguars in the playoffs the Steelers lost the Divisional playoff game against them a few years ago also.
One of my favorite games as a kid. I remember begging my mom to let me stay up late that night to watch it. Nostalgia is hitting me hard right now. Duvaaaaal!
Jacksonville just avoided another big comeback today, ten years later...
10 months later... they werent able to survive this time
They didn't avoid it in New England the next game. :)
There have been two times where a team has beaten Pittsburgh at Heinz Field twice in one season. The first was this game in 2007-08 season, and the second was 10 years later in the 2017-18 season.
Fred Taylor and MJD deadly RB duo. Cool memories.
Damn the Jags have been whooping the Steelers since 96. They just got spanked by them again. I guess old habits don't die out
Sheastadium 1299 mhm and ever since 96 how many playoff games have they won compared to the Steelers?
J.J. Barrientes J.J. Barrientes he might not know the answer to that one. But I am sure he can remember who the jags last playoff victory was against. Do you?
We might stank it up every year but if we come across the Steelers that old AFC central rivalry comes back into play and you're in for a hell of a game.(But my jags will beat'em)😂😂😂😂
David Garrard doesn't get enough credit, he was quite good for us
till his back gave up.
Ehhh, I mean this was his peak. But for the most part, I do think he was under rated. He did retire as a Jag at least!
Watching this before next weeks game. Go Jaguars!
Same, my heart is pounding. I really hope we can beat the steelers. I am watching this for good luck.
They got the 🐐 John Madden
You never know, the Jaguars could have a good season and go to the playoffs again.
They should tbh they have a really nice team this year
We were
i think they'll be good however
Bortles needs to cut down the INT's
Thorin Jordan yeah i like allen hurns and allen robinson
Jags D this year is fraking good... really, they could do something... one never knows
i love those jags unis
Same
same the all black ones are beautys
Classic
MJF. I hope they bring them back as "retro" uniforms and wear them at least once a year.
MJF. You feel me.. The OG jerseys with the full body jaguar patch is what made me a fan
The Steelers have always had a tough time with the Jaguars they could never get passed them in the playoffs.
helps when the refs cheat and dont call 20 holds on james harrison
As a ravens fan who lives in Jacksonville I love this game
Tavin Smith lol u are a bandwagon now
These jags uniforms rank as one of the best. Never should have changed. The current ones are good, but these were just fire.
🏆
Back when the Jacksonville Jaguars were actually good for once.
You were born in the 90s.
2 AFC championship appearances in the 90s with tom coplin
U jags beat my Broncos in the divisional round in 96
They're back
They were good until Wayne Weaver sold them and they've been downhill since.
Jags been owning the Steelers man
jags = steelers kyptonite
And here in 2016 im finding it hard to believe this took place lol
Wow! its really great to see this channel providing full free games from the archives. keep it up!
Man you don't see games like this anymore... one hell of a physical game 💪💪💪
That's pretty wild, I remember this game. Here ten years later an almost repeat Of It. Pretty crazy.
I picked the Jaguars to win it all the next year. They ended up finishing 5-11.
The 2007-08 playoffs was a year of upsets, capping off with my Giants beating the perfect Patriots!
Gameshowboy 92 your wrong ,they ain't perfect cause big blue beat them !!!
I respect Jack Del Rio for being a risk taker. You have to respect how he takes chances.
David Garrard and Maurice Jones-Drew. What a team to never go deep.
One of the greatest Jacksonville games I have ever witnessed...
It's Deja Vu for the Jags. The Jags beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh by a very small margin and are playing the Patriots in New England next weekend. 10 years ago, the Jags beat the Steelers in the Wild Card Game and played the Patriots in the Divisional Game. 10 years later, the Jags beat the Steelers in the Divisional Game and are playing the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
Jacksonville's two biggest mistakes in history were prematurely firing both Coughlin and Del Rio.
Gamaliel Rios Do you even live in Jacksonville to make that judgement?
They probably kept Del Rio around too long.
No problem wit firing del rio ' they were horrible wit him 4 awhile
The issue with the jags wasn't with Del Rio. They're defense was still good when he got fired, the issue was Gene Smith not giving him players to work with. Alalulu, Leftwich, Matt Jones, Derrick Harvey, Gabbert were the types of players that Jack had to work with. He never had a franchise qb, now look at him in Oakland. Jags have the most losses in the league since firing Del Rio.
Leftwich, Jones, and Harvey were there before Gene Smith became GM. While I agree mostly about Jack, he made a few head-scratching moves that made his firing an easier decision for Wayne to make.
And just to think This Happened Again Yesterday... Lmao! Jags beat the steelers in the regular season and postseason for the 2nd time in 11 years
I saw this in the recommended videos on the side and I honestly had completely erased this game from my memory. I had to really rack my brain to recall this happening.
There was actually a time when the Jaguars were a team fans respected, not mocked.
Chris Kreager Don't know where all the mocking came from considering they're still a fairly young Franchise. The Jets, Lions, Bills & Vikings I'd understand but the Jags. Never made sense to me.
@@Acetag31 exactly...
NFL please post two games up here, the 2000 NFC Championship & the 2006 Dallas-Seattle Playoff game #Giants
shadowguy20004 y not the 2000 Superbowl?
This was one of the better Jaguar teams. Obviously the best one _(likely for a while)_ will be the 1999 Jags but this team was still one of the best. They competed well with the 16-0 Patriots. If we somehow got past the Pats, they would've been Super Bowl bound I believe.
Well the 2017 season was a shocker to say the least, from a Jags fan perspective. Never would've guessed that we would've came that damn close to a Super Bowl. Looking to the future for this team, they had what they needed to win the big game, but this year they got what they need, and they added more to it.
Favorite game from my childhood. I always would remake this match in all the maddens growing up.
And we did it again in 2018 Jaguars-45 Steelers-42 :-)
Funny because James Harrison was held on the play your qb ran and converted and almost went all the way for a td. You’re franchise is pathetic and horrible. Almost as bad as the nfl refs. Idiot.
The jags have done it again !
RIP coach !! ONE OF GREATEST NFL COACHES AND TV COMMENTATORS IVE EVER SEEN !!
Anyone here after watching jags vs steelers in divisional?
You bet
NFL straight up some stud muffins uploading all these full games for us
And 10 years later we still losing to them in playoffs
Am I the Only One Who watched the whole video
no?
No.
Hell nah!!! Go Jags!!
Hell nah!!! Go Jags!!
Nope. I did too. And I'm an Eagles fan but I love Del Rio and Garrard.
Come on Jags! Let the history repeat itself!
That was a great game.
I’m a Raiders & Giants fans just think it’s ironic the 2 Best Coach’s in Jaguars history are or were instrumental in making my teams relevant so thank you for Tom & Jack!
Classic Football game
Looking back on this game nearly 10 years later, this just goes to show how special Jack Del Rio is as a coach, being able to make the JAQUARS go into Pittsburgh and beat them on their home turf.
this game hurt as a steelers fan, but that quickly went away when we went on to to win the super bowl a year later.
games was fixed boscelli held deebo 20 times and 0 holding calls
@@orgasmatronrickpsych someone doesnt even know who was playing. boselli retired way before 2007.
best jags defense ever
Mathis, Stroud, Henderson, Darius, Smith, Peterson... that D was nasty.
Go jags baby
2021 Jags. Let's go 🐆💪🏾
How’s that going?
@@DDDiego Number 1 pick coming again. That's how. Only up from here.
When the jags were actually good
Jets and Patriots Divisional round PLEASE
That is one of the 96 games the NFL is releasing, I don't know the order they're releasing them , but it is coming
What's the article called?
4:54 gotta love the attitude in football back then. Hines Ward was looking for the smoke. These days that reciever would of been throwing a hissy fit for a flag.
The biggest and toughest foe for the Steelers this century has never really been the Ravens or even the Patriots.
It has been the Jaguars at home.
Rasheen Mathis always had Big Ben's number. I forgot about his pick offs in this game.
Who here after jags best Steelers
These jags were good that year
35:22 "it wasn't the first time a ball was deflected here" - John Madden. RIP
Best jags squad
Man there was some hitting going on in this one
Even though i was only 7, i wish i watched this game. can't wait until the Jags play their next playoff game in a few months!
Go Jags!
Congrats jags on beating the Steelers here unfortunately your reward is you get to play the undefeated Patriots and mvps Brady and moss
This was my favorite game since I'm a jags fan that lives in steeler country
21 RIP Sean Taylor. You were a heckuva man.
Not wrong team. Every single player on every single team is representing the man. Back of the helmets, boy. 21. Sean Taylor.
Nice picture quality
i miss when my jaguars were good.
Our best O-line and arguably our best Defense. Our O-line had some monsters up front.
Maurice Jones Drew and Derek Landri played for my HS, De La Salle, Concord, Ca.
My favorite game let’s go Jags
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that we were one tiebreaker away from seeing jaguars @ browns
You have to kick that PAT at the 10:25 mark after the penalty pushed it back to the 12-yard line. I get going for 2 to bring you within 3 but with over 10 minutes left and backed up you have to kick it. Make that and then it's 28-24, and the go-ahead score puts you up 31-28 instead of 29-28, and the FG at the end only ties it instead of winning it.
Cool upload! : D
Rashean Mathis was a beast back then!
WOOO GO JAGS
Might we see a repeat this weekend? Big Ben is 1-3 versus Jville
Yes
Ben has a winning record in Jacksonville but a losing record against Jaguars in Pittsburgh.
I think RaShean Mathis had like 3 pick sixes against the Steelers in time with Jville... I remember that pick six in OT when Tommy Gun Maddox was QB, the game was on my birthday... still best bday gift ever lol... in all seriousness loved watching Pitt vs Jville from about 98-2008 it seemed both teams always beat the crap out of each other on D 14-13 wasnt an uncommon score between the two. I think Jville won a game 9-0 in the mid 2000's and both teams were 1&2 in total D that season... now we just suck...
2:08:32 was the most painful moment of the season and I was too little to even remember most of it 😂
The Jaguars just barely survived a steelers massive comeback today
barely survived? It was a 10 point game with 6 seconds left
Love the Immaculate reception joke by madden at 35:22 he was such a great commentator may he rest in piece
Jaguars went to the playoffs? Damn I forgot they were good lol
I remember this.. back when we had basically identical teams, mirror images of each other, was a damn good game. I couldn't believe that we lost, but we had a few key injuries and Jacksonville was hot at the time, not to mention they had Jack Del Rio, I've always liked him as a head coach, damn good.. I still think of this game from time to time.. I hated them for knocking us out of the playoffs, but, much respect.
p.s. i miss Hines Ward so much lol. kind of miss Santonio Holmes too. we should have kept him, I feel like his career wouldn't have gone down hill if we did..I also miss...

41:30 Tomlins hair hahaha
Back in 2006 it was considered fergalicious.
2007 nfl playoffs, was great until the cowboys lost in the divisional and the Patriots were screwed in the super bowl
I know right smh
