The feeling I get when I watch this is magical. I became a Houston fan as soon as they signed Foster. I miss this team so much. It's bittersweet. Takes me back to the days of being a kid.
2011 was an amazing year for the Houston Texans. *Won their first AFC South division title *First season with 10 wins *First playoff game *First playoff victory
How cool was it to see JJ Watt as a rookie in his first playoff game. It's kind of neat looking back at this and seeing where he started his career to where it is now. I was also surprised that AJ Green AND Andy Dalton were rookies this year and making it to the playoffs. Fun game to watch, but that Texans defense was too tough to overcome.
Idk what RUclips hole I went through to get to this video but I skipped around n watched three highlights of the game n when they said "rookie J.J. Watt" I finally realized how old I am lol... gODDAMN, I feel like this game happened only like 2 or 3 seasons ago but if was 8 or 9 seasons ago... I can't very over how friggin' old I am lol
You know it's crazy now. TJ Yates is an assistant quarterback coach for the Texans. Andre Johnson is a special advisor to Bill O'Brien. Brian Cushing is a strength and conditioning coach. JJ coming off a couple injured seasons , I think he has a little bit left in the tank. I think right now that if DeShaun Watson was on that team in 2011 to 2012 . They might have one the super bowl. The defenses were better. I think right now if Gary kubiak was the head coach that's the scheme that DeShaun Watson needs. And you know it's funny. Gary kubiak, Dom capers and Bill O'Brien under one roof this fall. Yeah Minnesota vs Houston. I know that nugget was a little bit off topic but just to show how quickly the league changes.
I know you youngins don't believe it but, the Bengals used to have tough and very talented wining teams. Too bad it was the 80's with Kenny Anderson, Icky Woods, Boomer, and believe it or not, Cris friggin Collinsworth. Yes, the guy on SNF. LOL
Still can't believe that Cyprien's hit against Kelce in yesterday (as of posting this) wasn't called and didn't get him ejected. The hit Reggie Nelson gave at about 21:40 was nowhere NEAR as bad and was called. smh
Wish for 2017: Patriots not in the Super Bowl. Bengals-win a playoff game. Falcons=win the Super Bowl because they deserve it after they blew it! 1 of 3 i believe happens.
man time files fast 8 years ago I didnt know Dalton was from katy … that Oline was killer from top to bottom … and kubes Offensive the run/bootleg always open in the middle owen daniels !!!!
TJ Yates was poised to guide the Texans to the preeminent NFL Dynasty over the next decade... nah JK 😆 Texans were paper tigers that racked up stats but were gimmicky and soft. Patriots fans had a name for teams like the Texans they would play in the Divisional Round as the #1 seed: tomato cans. Ping! Ping! Plonk!!

NFL team
I was at this game, and it was the best crowd the Texans have ever had. Hands down.
Wish I was a fan those days !
Hard to believe that JJ Watt was a rookie that season!
Not a biased Steelers fan! Did the Texans win this game
Dalton and A.J. Green were rookies in this season too. Crazy
Brandon Nobles yeah
The feeling I get when I watch this is magical. I became a Houston fan as soon as they signed Foster. I miss this team so much. It's bittersweet. Takes me back to the days of being a kid.
We miss you Dre And Foster
D-Hop & Will Fuller #TexanSavages we don't miss foster he was trash
Kyle Murphy Then you're not a true Texans fan. Foster was a good rb its just that injuries slowed him down

Dang this was the first playoff game that got me interested in the NFL.
TJ Yates still has more playoff wins than Andy Dalton.
TJ Yates has more playoff wins than Andy Dalton
To be fair Andy Dalton never had a gm willing to pay more than pennies on the dollar for the team
Best atmosphere I’ve ever seen in Reliant/NRG stadium. That was a fun game
I Remember Coming To This Game It Was My First Texans Game And My Only Playoff Game This Was the Best That J.J Watt Interception Was Crazy
One of the best games in Texans history
@Don’t Matter even better
I miss 80 #GOAT
Not really that good
My favorite Texans era. Foster, JJ, Joseph, and TJ.
When they had a super bowl defense all these offensive weapons were sadly gone
i was 11, my first season as a Texan.
best memories
You should have never been let go , Glad that you're back. You should start over tom savage. I think you guy's would have won.
The legend of Watt began
3:40 Texans Offense
5:01 Bengals Defense
7:32 Bengals Offense
15:49 Texans Defense
And Marv Lewis is STILL the Bengals HC.
@@dominicdelgado1654 not anymore at last
go Texans
Rest in peace Cedric Benson
Andre Johnson #80 the GOAT
Not really
2011 was an amazing year for the Houston Texans.
*Won their first AFC South division title
*First season with 10 wins
*First playoff game
*First playoff victory
If Matt Schaub hadn't gotten hurt the Texans would have made it to the AFC championship game. They had a great defense that season.
Best Game Ever..TEXANS#1
That moment were you realized the 49ers, Jets, Bears won more recently in the playoffs than the Bengals
Keenan Style also Rams. And jags I think. They aren't recent, but they won during bengals losing streak.
And the Browns (1994-95) LOL
KJ STYLE 49ers were great 4 Years ago
Welp..
@@crishdz3700bengals still have no rings
Crazy to see Demeco back in Htown. LETS GO HTINEEEEE
Last time the Bengals won a playoff game was back in 1990
Desmond Anderson This was also the first NFL playoff game for Houston since 1993
And it was against Houston.
My boy TJ Yates 😂😂😂
D-Hop & Will Fuller #TexanSavages hell yeah

LMAO
I miss this NBC scoreboard.
JJ watt is born 👏👏
brian cushing..bill romanowski look alike
I'm guessin this is when the bengals playoffs losing streak started 😂😂
Javar Jackson the bengals haven't won a playoff game since 1991 they started losing a long time ago
Marvin Lewis: 0-7 record in offs games.
Began in 2005. The same year I became a fan 😕
Jayson stuart Dont worry is Texans fans are in misery too, Rip Hop
Oh no, it's been much longer than this lol
The game where jj watt game to life
Why is it sometimes choppy?
The screams were so loud that is lagged my vid. XD. Go Texans!
Crazy seeing Demeco Ryans as a player here
Idk what RUclips hole I went through to get to this video but I skipped around n watched three highlights of the game n when they said "rookie J.J. Watt" I finally realized how old I am lol... gODDAMN, I feel like this game happened only like 2 or 3 seasons ago but if was 8 or 9 seasons ago... I can't very over how friggin' old I am lol
Lmao even the Texans have a more recent win than the Bengals
N.Y. King Texans were good in 2011 and 2012 wtf R U talking about
Death Wish47 they still good now though
NachoMao yeah. Just need a QB and a line
Why's the frame rate all screwed up
Rip bum Phillips
They should upload the game against the ravens to show how much bs was in that game
1:05:18 The play where all of a sudden, the fans that booed him during the draft can eat those words.
If Shaub didn’t go down I honestly believe the Texans would have beat the Ravens and made it to the AFC championship. Crazy what could’ve been
Joseph Lopez but remember the patriots were number one seed when the patriots had a good team
Yaters gonna yate!
If the Texans make some changes(quarterback) possibly even in their general manager there is no reason they cant win a Superbowl
Big C yeah especially since their defense is number 1 without watt and 4 other starters
Big C #TitanUp
Now they got deshaun Watson 🤭🤭 and anything can happen
Hmmm...it’s 2020 now
This organization is a flatout mess!!
Wouldn’t surprise me if JJ is gone by next year and DeShaun has one foot out of the door!!
Can we talk about the extra flare Turk puts on the kick at 1:22:06?
Whos watching 2017
people talking trash but Dalton was a rookie this year
You know it's crazy now. TJ Yates is an assistant quarterback coach for the Texans. Andre Johnson is a special advisor to Bill O'Brien. Brian Cushing is a strength and conditioning coach. I still say if Shaub that year dont get hurt we go to the superbowl
Same. He was lights out before that injury.
I know you youngins don't believe it but, the Bengals used to have tough and very talented wining teams. Too bad it was the 80's with Kenny Anderson, Icky Woods, Boomer, and believe it or not, Cris friggin Collinsworth. Yes, the guy on SNF. LOL
This is JJ Watt's First Wild Card Game.
Our defense that year was rlly good
Still can't believe that Cyprien's hit against Kelce in yesterday (as of posting this) wasn't called and didn't get him ejected. The hit Reggie Nelson gave at about 21:40 was nowhere NEAR as bad and was called. smh
Texans had TJ Yates, Shaub and Leinart: NFL QB juggernaut the likes of which we’ll never see again. How they didn’t go 19-0 is dumbfounding.
Fun fact guy standing next to watt is the current head coach
Wish for 2017: Patriots not in the Super Bowl. Bengals-win a playoff game. Falcons=win the Super Bowl because they deserve it after they blew it! 1 of 3 i believe happens.
Jim Jim all were wrong 😂😂
man time files fast 8 years ago I didnt know Dalton was from katy …
that Oline was killer from top to bottom … and kubes Offensive the run/bootleg always open in the middle owen daniels !!!!
I love the Bengals helmets
Best in the NFL!
Why on earth would they upload such a horrendous game lol
War eagle 🦅 Auburn football represent!
1:09:30 I feel that Bramon injury was staged to give the Texans defense a breather.. great coaching in my opinion.
Damn Alex Flanagan was a nice little snack.

Commentator was not a sexy pick but looks like that now
The Bengals were one of the biggest underdogs in 2011. The two rookies Andy Dalton and AJ Green helped led the Bengals to the playoffs.
TJ Yates was poised to guide the Texans to the preeminent NFL Dynasty over the next decade... nah JK 😆
Texans were paper tigers that racked up stats but were gimmicky and soft. Patriots fans had a name for teams like the Texans they would play in the Divisional Round as the #1 seed: tomato cans. Ping! Ping! Plonk!!
Then we beat their ass in the divisional
***** your team is a mediocre at best
