This is one of the most memorable regular season games in Seahawks history. What a great comeback on the road. The 98 yard TD drive led by Wilson, then Sherman taking Schaub's bad decision to the house...good stuff. The Seahawks walked away 4-0; en route to their first Superbowl Championship.
Yeah, similar to the Chicago gang the year before, it was games like this that made me realize there was something really special about thiis team, where they won a game on the road that they had no business winning. Between jj watt's broken nose, Russell Wilson's amazing scrambling, that sideline throw and catch by Doug Baldwin, and Sherman getting the game tying interception when the Texans looked like they were about to run out the clock. What a special game early on during their best season ever.
1:23 Great Seattle Defense 4:51 Russell Wilson -> Sidney Rice 36:16 Arian Foster TD 1:06:08 He’s Never Been Out of a Game 2:02:10 20-20 2:30:40 Haushkas Kick
Seahawks Defense from 2012-2015 was all time great, led the league in scoring defense, allowing the fewest points scored each year for four years straight. Michael Bennett, Bruce Irvin, Cliff Avril, Bobby Wagner, Malcolm Smith, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, and Kam Chancellor.
I'm watching this game again for the 3rd time because I like the way the Seahawks humbled the commentators that has been rooting for the Texans the entire game .
1:53:42 That must suck to be the QB and you turn and the first thing you see is kam chancellor running unobstructed at you. You can see why he thru the int.
Something funny: If you watch from 1:53:36, you'll notice Sherman gave Chancellor a hand gesture, and Kam moves up to the line to rush Schaub. Sherman said after the game they had noticed his tendency to dump his passes to the TE in that situation and formation if Schaub was rushed by the Safety. They had practiced this during the week, and when he recognized the Texans formation, Sherm signaled Kam to rush.
1:53:40 This wasn't all Shaub's fault. Sherman said they had studied this play on tape and were ready for it. Notice Sherm yells something, and Kam makes a beeline for where Shaub is GOING to be, gets in Shaub's face and causes a bad throw that still hits the receiver in the hands. Meanwhile, Sherman grabs it out of Owens' hands and is off to the races. These moron Houston "fans" burned Shaub's jersey after this game ... because he lost to what may be the best defense in NFL history. SMH
"This wasn't all Shaub's fault. Sherman said they had studied this play on tape and were ready for it." Some dumb comments here. Perhaps being predictable was "Schaubs' fault". Quarterbacks are held responsible when they make a huge, game losing mistake. Such it has ever been.
@@pretorious700 I said it wasn’t ALL Shaub’s fault. The outcome was the result of film study, preparation and execution, not just a bad throw. You get an: A for stating the obvious F for reading comprehension
As a Washington fan seeing the mighty Seahawks start slow makes me feel a bit better about watching my team start slow against Denver. A bloody JJ Watt is the symbol of this battle.
Why? The 2013 Texans went 2-14 and scored the 2nd fewest points in the league. Having Watson instead of Schaub as the QB wouldn't have changed much if anything
I lucked out and went to this game it was by chance that it turned out to be such a memorable game of that championship season. One of the best games of many great games in 2013 and funny sidenote to it too went to Twin Peaks bar in Houston before the game where right there on the Menu they had listed Matt Schaub Pick 6 Toppings for your Nachos (Schaub was on a String of throwing Pick 6 TD's coming in) I didn't think anything of this until after the game 1:53:43
I know this is really all about how good the Seattle defense was but around this time the Texans actually had a crazy roster on paper.. Well maybe 2014 was a bit better with a healthier Arian Foster than 2 great WRs with Andre Johnson and Hopkins! Also a few great defensive pieces like JJ Watt and they drafted Clowney in 2014. Cushing was a solid piece too. It’s too bad it fell apart SO fast and they never really lived up to expectations.
Dang can't believe the eventual champs needed overtime to beat the team that would have the #1 overall pick in the next year's draft. Just glad we won lmao
Super Bowl season for the Seahawks as you knew it was going to be a special season after that pick 6 from Richard Sherman to send the game into overtime.

well todays game was absolutely insane #GOHAWKS
I'm watching this game again for the 3rd time because I like the way the Seahawks humbled the commentators that has been rooting for the Texans the entire game .
That duo of announcers do that every time, go back and listen to the Panthers game. Tim Ryan kissed the Panthers ass the entire game.

The decline of Matt Schuab
Every game he's ever played since this he had a pick 6
I use to play on Madden as the Texans with Matt Shaub. I made him and A Johnson look good
thank you sooo much for uploading, can be hard sometimes to find older games

I wanna see some Seahawks games with Raible making the call .
As a Washington fan seeing the mighty Seahawks start slow makes me feel a bit better about watching my team start slow against Denver. A bloody JJ Watt is the symbol of this battle.
Think this game was the beginning of the end Matt Schwab
It truley was his decline that day houston had so much talent that shredded legion of boom but a bad qb that started to show his true colors
I think he had several pick 6 games in a row after this.
@@BobPDX he had a pick 6 in each game previous to this one
Houston looked dominant, pissed away the game with a horrible mistake by Schaub, proceeded to go 2-14 for the year. "Elite" team? Hardly.
They weren't as dominant as you might think . Seattle was missing 3/5's of it's o-line that day .
@@mrseaballs1 That makes no sense at all. What does speculation have to do with a fact? Very likely that's WHY they were dominant, Einstein.
I think it's pretty funny that the Seahawks had more people from Texas on their team than the Texans.
Imagine if deshaun Watson had this Texans offense
Mikel Cano sb contenders
Why? The 2013 Texans went 2-14 and scored the 2nd fewest points in the league. Having Watson instead of Schaub as the QB wouldn't have changed much if anything

Tbh I miss the 2013 Seahawks defense than we have now
We have a defense? The only defense we have is our offense; in the sense that it keeps their offense off the field momentarily.

This was the game that broke the 2013 Texans and the career of Matt Schaub.
