Thanks a lot for the reaction. I love this song. The In the Raw album that the song is from is my favorite rock album by her. Tuomas' mother started teaching Tarja to play the piano when she was six years old. But she continued to play the piano even during her studies. She says that she used to play very well, but over time she lost a lot of it. I think she plays great. The piano is also Tarja's main instrument for composing music. And I agree, Tarja looks amazing.
When pronouncing Tarja's name, the second option is the correct one. :)
BTW: Naomi's info belongs to another song, but my info is pretty confusing at times.

@@tuuli4002 I think it's a matter of time. The video of Stargazers and Ciaran's Well together has also been deleted. Stargazers is on her label's channel, but Luna Park Ride's Ciaran's Well is not. Fortunately, I have her Blue Rays and DVDs at home:
update: the whole Luna Park Ride concert is on her label's channel, so it's great that I can then send a request from it with my favorite timestamp. :D

I can see that Shadow Play is an important song for Tarja. Like Petra said, she had some health issues. At then end of 2018, Tarja had a stroke, but luckily she didn’t suffer any lasting effects. But what Tarja said in the beginnig, we only have one chance to live, hits hard when you know that it's a real possibility that she could have died then.
Many of Tarja's lyrics have deep meanings. For some reason I resonate with them.... they hit hard for me.

Thank you! Tarja was 6 years old when she started playing piano and Tuomas Holopainens mother was her teacher. In this concert she had 3 backupsinger and the guy is her brother Toni and she did one or two duetts whit him too. This concert is so good and everybody seems to have so much fun. Tarja is one of a kind 🌟❤️🖤🤘🏻

A fitting and spectacular end to such an amazing concert. Love the way it builds and builds. Tarja gets quite emotional during this performance, which makes her even more endearing. There are so many incredible performances in this concert. It looked like one of her backup singers was Clemantine Delauney, the singer from Visions of Atlantis. Clemantine is a guest in these concerts. If you haven't reacted to VOA you really must. She is up there with Floor, Simone, Tarja etc

The fans have it right. Taa - RR -ee -YA if you want to practice the rolling Finnish Rs. Or if not... Taa-ree-ya is close enough. She knows perfectly well English speakers trouble with her name. Just making the effort is enough.
You want impressive, watch her in 2016 in Poland during Woodstock dancing in heels while singing and not missing a note. Not out of breath. Swimming and jogging her methods. Her lung capacity another reason to be amazed, pure athleticism.

She has also described the warmup and cool down after the show takes a few hours. No surprise she puts her heart and soul into her performances.
The other thing is she is such a showwoman. Talent like crazy.

@@Boa_Omega You know, not everyone is able to do rolling r, for example me, even if rolling r is standard in my native language and I should can that, I just can't, no matter how hard I try or what exercises I'm doing for it, and in my coutry it's speech impediment... Not everyone can do that. ;)
The letter "J" is prononced somewhat as a "Y" in most of Scandinavia/Nothern Europe, another example of this is Floor Jansen.
