    Great job talking about the terms we use "commonly" hehe. So smart of you to get that magazine! Wow that is so great from 1903. You are a "rare" collector teehee! The time factor really is interesting, great points!!! On why a trader might say WOO items are rare, maybe they mean not as popular to trade.

      I think it depends on the area you live in. There weren't too many _Wizard of Oz_ collectors (that I personally knew) back in Louisiana, so I think that definitely had an impact on what items were being circulated on a local level in the antique and thrift shops because I hardly ever saw anything that was _Wizard of Oz_ related in those places.
      I always find it entertaining when non-collectors hear how long it takes (sometimes!) to acquire an item. You certainly learn patience with this hobby!

    6:35 Yes, it does make sense because something can be rare and something can be scarce, some things can be rare without being scarce or scarce without being rare, but some things can be both rare AND scarce. 🤩
