    It really is an easy oil change. And you reminded me I was supposed to change the Jeep oil today…but I was working on the Acty truck instead…

    nice that it has a built in skid protection bar for the oil filter AND gave you enough clearance without having to remove it. These engineers back in the day were really looking out for customers.

      Everything seems to be kept simple and very convenient to work on.🙂

      The horizontal fill spout isn't exactly great though.

    What do you do for tires on kei class cars?

    • @mistertyspy
      @mistertyspy  Год назад +1

      I'm probably going to put on some bigger tires. I've seen different setups on Facebook groups. Still researching and haven't completely decide on the wheels. I'm sure there's some sellers in the states but if I have to order from Japan then I guess I'll just have to wait.

      @@mistertyspy ah, so you’re on the jdm tires still? I’m bringing in a Kei car soon, and I’m thinking I’ll need to upsize to something more common. Otherwise it won’t pass inspection to get registered without DOT tires.

      @@connorlearmonth665 Yea the wheels are tiny. Definitely do an upgrade.

    How often do u change your oil ?

    • @mistertyspy
      @mistertyspy  3 месяца назад +1

      For my Camry that has over 300k miles I changed every 5k miles. I'll do every 3k for my mini truck just because it's older.

      Thanks I bought a 2015 Acty van, and was curious on when I should do my oil change. It’s basically like the truck but with a shell on the back

      660 cc 3 cyl gas engine with carb. Only about 38 hp, but Honda does a lot with that limited power. Japan deliberately imposes restrictions on size and power of engines in these trucks
