    250g -ash gourd/ Kumblanga
    1 1/2 cup- Water
    1 1/2 tsp-m Salt
    1 tsp- Chopped ginger
    3 to 4- Sliced green chillies
    1 tsp- Turmeric powder
    1/4 tsp- Chilly powder
    cup- Grated coconut
    2 no's- Shallots
    1/4 tsp- Cumin seeds
    3 sprigs of curry leaves
    1 cup- yogurt/ curd

      Curd typically has a loose, grainy texture and a slightly sour taste, whereas yoghurt has a smooth, creamy texture,.not really sour taste.
