Great video with behind the scenes. Was that Andrej in the engine room? Good to see our system TowPro being used for peace of mind when towing. Insurance companies are satisfied when mentioning our System which allows greater flexibility with towing at night and greater distances.
I love seeing the behind the scenes logistics of running these big yachts. I found the Crew Chef channel first and she brought me here.
Nice video once again Steve!
What I liked about the old video's made by Blair was how calming they were to watch. (Just to zone out to and dream about the good life 😊) In my opinion the high number of quick useless cuts in the new footage makes for a buisy, not relaxed, watching experience. It is okay to go at a slower pace for these longer video's.
I have been watching Loons video's for about a year now and I am looking foreward to her next adventures. You are doing Great!❤
Gotta agree, it's still a bit "choppy". It's a 15 or 20 minute video, not a 45-second commercial, there is no need to keep the hype at full bore.
Yeah, I've got to agree, I used to love this channel but I've rarely watched it since Blair left - occasionally try the odd video but just far too many cuts for me sadly to enjoy watching it - only managed about 30secs before I realised things haven't improved and hitting stop. Please take this as constructive feedback Steve as I'd love to get back to regularly watching this channel!
What happened to Blair? Is it a rotation between him and Steve?
Blair is no longer a crew member. @@mactownsend2890
Please take this feedback to heart. It is fatiguing to watch.
I like how you are getting some of the other crew members to be in front of the camera to tell us about what is going on. Love watching this channel.
Great video! Loved how basically all the crew helped with filming and explaining their roles . Absolute legends!
Loon ( which quite literally is you ALL) is the most " loved ", well cared after, as well as beautiful vessel that is shared on the interwebs!! Thanks so much for letting us follow along with you ! ❤
Love these “nuts and bolts” videos of what it takes to move the boat around.
Captain Paul another brilliant cinematography masterpiece, your crew is so professional and gives a great interpretation of the life as a Super Yacht crew also highlights the fact that apart from the Aussie Captains the Below Deck series is full of would be actors!! Thank you for such a great channel and the steps taken to ensure that Super Yacht is in the top top condition for exclusive charters, be safe and his bless all the crew 😇🙏⛵️🛳️
Great to see crew members that we usually only get a glimpse off
Really looking forward to the med season and hopefully some live feeds of the amazing European landscape.
I love the behind the scenes videos.
Epic video by Loon as per usual xx great insight
Fair winds and following seas always! 🤗
Thank you ☺️
Interesting! It is not hard to imagine everything is far simpler, much less complex but you guys are professionals, do it so well!
I really liked the consideration of forecast weather conditions. It is so easy to imagine the Caribbean as being benign, calm, smooth, sunny and lovely.
Love the behind the scenes engine room prep
I really enjoyed the behind the scenes look at interior, deck, and engineer procedures. Thank you for another great video. Wishing you a wonderful and successful Med season!
Love these Behind the Scenes moments. You all kill it every time!!! Nice work Loonatics!
Safe passage my friends.
Great easy to watch professional videos, what a life you all lead! 🌎
Just AWESOME!!! Loved this video.
Thank you..
Sure is better than getting underway in the navy
You folks are smooth and professional
Honestly feel like I know ya’ll after watching these videos. So happy when there’s a new one to watch. Would love to sit and have a drink with the crew 😊
Thank you as always.

Fair
Thank you Loonies safe passage God Speed⚓️
Amazing, hopefully i'm going to charter with them one day 🙏 Great team .
Ready when you are 😎
Most excellent job…
Sounds like fun and games like usual, but straight line obviously if it works
Whoever is doing the production gets an A+, great behind the scenes content.
Good episode! Enjoyed the route planning. Congrats on making the trip “ across the pond”. Great timing considering I see Loon on the list of yachts going to Monaco for the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of the month.
Would’ve never known about how great the Baths in the BVIs if it weren’t for you all at MY Loon. Went yesterday whilst on a cruise and it was amazing. Congrats on the Atlantic can’t wait for the Med Season content.
Very cool! I hope you enjoyed the BVIs as much as we do 😎
Behind the scenes preparation to go to Florida really interesting. A bit of everything that goes on and it was a bit. As we all know there is a lot more that goes on in prep for departure. Video shooting was excellent. Yea and the weather did seem to be getting a little rougher by the time you were leaving end of video. Looking forward to next video
Nice to see Tyler and Nina doing little inserts filming themselves on errands
Enjoyed the video. It's always nice to see what the crew does. Hopefully we get to see you traveling to Florida as well. 😉
Coming this sunday this passage up to florida :)
That looked like the Great Barrier Reef growing on your hull!
Lol I hope that was the before images, lots of prep to get that off before the transan
I am positive that small clip of scraping the bottom does not do it justice for how hard and long it took the boys to get the job finished. Great vid!
Hope to see some of the crossing and some white horses😳😎👍
Отлично! Жду видео вашего перехода.
Great video! Some people commenting whine too damn much!!
#200 👍🏼 Watching...
from 🌲 Washington State🌲🌄
Have you ever showed the re-fueling procedures for Loon? If not that would be a really interesting video!
Hope you had a safe journey to Fort Lauderdale, and then onwards safely to the Mediterranean.
Wow it only seems like last week you were crossing to the Caribbean!!!
I know! The winter season flew by
Sa Chef, missed my chance to work aboard any yacht, had a baby a while ago, but still would have loved to experience the lifestyle
Very interesting video! Captain Paul is your best narrator, so please feature him more often. Background music is not needed.
All comes down to savings, fuel and logistics, will be amazing either way I'm sure,,,, Durban chefs are the best,, coming from a chef from south coast,,,, bluff Seaview , 44 year old specializing in pizza and sushi
Filming the tow pro with a go pro! 😊
Just wondering since it was sorta brought up. How long do you guys go till you get the barnacles professional removed? Is it done by dry dock?
As a Poor person this my go to content to dream hehe.
Sounds like great passage but keep hoping video quality improves
Oh I feel for you boys scrubbing 70m of hull by hand! Looking up at a hull that long makes me dizzy.
How much does towing the tender effect the speed? Really interesting stuff!
I never thought watching a charter yacht would be my favorite channel. Y'all seem like family and we'll likely never meet..... unless.... I win the lottery.
I think you have to buy the Lottery ticket first.
What is the GL of fuel onboard and what speed did you use from the BVI to Florida
Just watched you on Nautistyles. Though I have been subbed to you and Nina for years. Love the content, Keep it up!
Thank you 🙏 it was great having Rico and Victoria onboard
Worked maintenence growing up for long liners, then as a chef in SA, unfortunately not much recognition as a chef in SA
The worst for sea sickness is the corkscrew motion, I had 15 years at sea and still got seasick for the first few hours up to 2 days
Hear about this ng's yacht was B75 lol lol 😆 😂 🤣 😅 😄 now B82
I love their channel. The green screen is so good you actually believe they’re on a real yacht.
😂😂😂
Love learning the practicalities of keeping booze safe. Greetings from the red weather by the Chesapeake! Come up here one day!
"So, here we go". "So, lets go".
Let’s go!
When are you going to Europe? by what date will you be there?
How much are the fees to get your crew into and out of the different countries in the Caribbean?
What weather app do you use
How do you handle lightening on a yacht?
👍👌
Has the Loon ever travelled to the Great Lakes?
Just curious, i watch every few videos. Why did the video guy change?
Question: do you use salt water to clean or do you de-salt the water before use because salt water and its corrosive power...
Grtz, SG from Belgium 🇧🇪
We have fresh water makers onboard so we always have lots of fresh water to wash 🧼
If there was a chiropodist on board would that be a Toe Pro system? 😑
I thought transatlantic meant Europe. Didn’t know you guys considered the Carribean to Miami a TA. 😊
They prepared in Miami for the transatlantic crossing to Europe. So first few days passage to Miami, work on the boat, then few weeks transatlantic crossing to Europe 👍 Keep watching, the transatlantic crossing videos will come I'm sure 😃
@@hannekek Cool!! Thanks
As I watch this, according to Marine Traffic, you've already been back in the Med for 5 days.
Yep, we’re trying hard to catch up. Lots of content coming at you soon 🤙
Nice job trying a different style of video. I like the direction you’re going and I’m sure you’ll keep tweaking things till you get it just right. The Loon and all your other toys are cool and the areas you visit are really neat but I come back to RUclips channels mostly because of the people. I imagine some of you might feel silly just explaining what you’re doing all the time, but, as a viewer, I like to hear from you.
Love the behind the scenes videos! But there is also something different about them that I don’t like as much. Maybe these “cuts” that I see in other people’s comments?
👍✅🏝
@motoryachtloon why does the owner not send the yacht on a yacht transporting ship? What are the pros and the cons?
*for the Atlantic crossing that is
Loon is designed to do ocean passages having over 6,000nm range so there is no need to ship her.
This would have been better if we had the map on screen when the captain was showing what he wanted to do. Pointing a camera at a screen with charts is easy, only a few steps.
Does captain Paul go home to Australia or does he stay in Florida ?
So if the tender broke loose in a storm during the voyage to Florida at what point is the HCB “ up for grabs” if ever.
Obviously you would turn around and reattach for towing but if you could not what happens in terms of the ownership of the tender in terms of salvage rights?
Hope that makes sense.
We turn around and pick it up.
If it’s too rough to recover we would stay with it until conditions improve
Luckily in 15 years of towing large tenders we have never lost one due to proper upkeep of the towing equipment and not over stressing the towed tenders
@@motoryachtloon Thanks for the answer I figured of course you would turn around for a $2mm plus tender .. What I was trying to ask is at what point are boats / tenders etc up for grabs and salvage laws apply?? If you came across a tender floating in middle of ocean and you towed it back to Ft Lauderdale could you claim it under some sort of salvage/ abandonment law??
Technically yes but it’s not quite that easy. It would be in and out of courts for a few years . So not really worth the hassle.
We always just want to be good seafarers and make sure everyone is safe and if possible return it to its owners.
@@motoryachtloon Thanks !!!!safe travels.
👍🌸👍🌸👍🌸
Please turn down the music when the Captain is talking 😉
We're is Page she was not in the video 😮
Bit slow on the videos, see you are now in Imperia in the med, and seemed a bit late getting into Gibraltar?
We’re trying to catch up.
I'll give you $150 for that bottle of coffee patron #IYKYK 😉😂
Done 🥂
