8:30 Capt. Paul gave a (in his way of being stern) hard command. Telling Steve to do his per drone planning. I worked on a boat with Captain Paul’s style of command. That was 35 years ago, when I was 17. Worked on that boat for 5 years. That Captain is still one of my best most respected friends.

The camera quality is pretty good.... Like one of the few good ones on RUclips. Within the Top 5 I think. Top 1 is MKBHD. Drone is like 25% of the other cameras quality... Nighttime seemed to be another camera...

Steve, you will find that MY Loon being the number 1 charter YT channel that Captain Paul is hard task master with all crew, suggest you wear a few extra pairs of “Y Fronts” and be one step ahead of the Skipper. Awesome vid Steve and crew! Oddly enough, when it's Loon vs Drone, the poor drone doesn't fair too well. Should keep a separate count of how many times Cpt Paul has to rescue the drone haha
I feel like having drones in the air so often really increases the probability of losing them, having them fall out of the sky etc.
Yea pretty much and luckily they’re insured. We just love to rub it in when they do crash. It’s just good banter 😁
To much screen time Steve, You need to have the crew on screen more then yourself. Like crew updates, what there up to and doing, Crew stories and just mucking around, You know fun stuff 😊

Good work Steve not dropping it in the water, but like the Capt said, research your flight zones. You are close to the airport, so you’ll always have that authorization zone. And DJI’s map does not always match the US FAA flight restrictions. For instance that whole area around Charlotte Amalie requires LAAANC authorization (maybe you did). I know we all want to get the shot, but if folks don’t start playing by the rules it’s only going to make the regulations that much worse, and we’ll probably end up loosing access to these amazing places to fly.

When guests go to dinner in a restaurant off the boat how are the cost covered? Is the visit part of the trip package or is it an additional cost that is payed as finish there trip before debarking?

Can someone explain or do a video on what is that boat you are towing around? What is its purpose and why tow it? Are there any people on it during towing. If not, what if it breaks loose from tow? Thanks
Great vid, as usual. I'm curious, question to Loon crew and, I guess yachties in general. If you had the opportunity to crew an expedition yacht, long passages, no tips, but getting to go places few see, would ya?

Maybe time to get custom software for the drones so you can fly anywhere and not hit nofly zones?

hahaha everyone had singed leg hairs that evening.. Captain Paul scooted the chairs back once he arrived on the beach. Franko got a little excited when given the instructions to build a small camp fire. 🔥😂

I'm glad you said it cause I've been thinking it. I don't know what happened but Blair was a TREMENDOUS asset to MY Loon. Disappointed that they couldn't find a way to work that out.
