I'm so glad to finally share the news from the past few weeks with you and get back to regular posting. It was a bummer to lose Blair, but we're all super excited to have Steve onboard and can't wait to bring you weekly videos again. Thanks for your patience, and please give Steve a warm welcome to the Loon family.
Blair did a great job and was nominated as 'Best Wingman/Woman' in a video so the crew liked him; I hope they embrace Steve equally. He obviously has talent as evidenced by this video!
Things I appreciated: 1. Captions when Cpt Paul was speaking 2. More shots from crew cameras 3. Time lapse of laundry Solid video and great edits. I will miss Blair and look forward to seeing more of Steve’s personality and style.
Awww BLAIR!!!! 😢 wish him the best and welcome Steve! Sometimes I feel like part of the family and that I’m losing or missing them whenever someone leaves
It's sad when any crew member leaves, as we really are a family. We will miss Blair and all he did but onwards and upwards, the show must go on. We're all super excited to introduce Steve and keep this party going 🛥🥂
So sad to see Blair go. I wish him well. Some video ideas for Steve- crew drills, more interior crew logistics, crew down time in the crew mess, and crew quarters, how crew schedules work, how charters are planned, how you make each charter unique based on guest preferences, what do you do to entertain beyond water sports, how crew hierarchy is organized/run, what are the responsibilities of each position and who reports to whom, how do vacations/contracts work for crew? Nina’s video of the hidden spaces was awesome. Would love more of that behind the scenes footage. Would also love more livestreams! Thank you for all your informative videos.
Steve you did a really nice ‘first job’! Really diverse, new type of footage and already a bit of your own style. Welcome and good luck! Blair: big Thanks to you! All the best for you.
So great to see Captain Paul back leading the crew.... loved seeing and hearing more of the crew explaining explaining what they are doing... always educational.... Congratulations Steve on this new position as content creator... Very comfortable and easy to watch behind the camera 👏
As Paul said himself its sad to see Blair go but damn watching another charter video was enjoyable! Will always support and cant wait to see more content from Loon!
Awwww! come on guys, rumor has it Blair's still in the water looking for the last drone. When you surface Blair, all the very best for the future and looking forwards to Steve's content.
Will miss Blair. He did a great job with content to grow the channel. Hope Blair reads as I wish him all the best. Welcome Steve! You have a great dream job which I look forward to seeing more of your talents. Starting off nicely! Enjoy the journey!
Sad to see Blair go but the show must go on! Excited to see what awesome videos Steve will bring us and hopefully he can keep the drones in the sky and out of the ocean!
Adios Blair and Good Luck in your next endeavor. Welcome on board Steve. Excellent video. Looking forward to more outstanding videos. Excellent choice Captain Paul Clark !! I have no doubt that life will go on !!
So sad to hear Blair has gone, he did an awesome job and had a great sense of humor 🤪Good luck Steve, you have some mighty big boots to fill! Are there more changes on board? Doesn't seem long since Nina went on her break, but great to see her back 😁
Wow, I thought something was wrong, shame about Blair, huge surprise but it happens. Steve knocked it out of the park for this video, hope he keps up the good work. Love all the blogs and cant wait to see more. Welcome back everyone, nice to see everyone again and you're all nicely rested. Really showed what is probably normal for a charter, relaxing and taking it easy (but not you guys lol). Can't believe all those boats even trying to get round you even while going through the bridge, crazy !!! Would have loved watching you blowing the horn at those small boats lol. PS that looked straighter than the way in.
Unfortunate to lose Blair, he was fantastic and a treasure to Yachting content! Steve, excellent first video. Great shots and you seem confident and competent in front of camera. Looking forward to what you produce!
Welcome aboard, Steve, and congratulations. I know you are just getting started but I agree with some of the other comments, please slow the drone shots and pan shots down a bit to give us time to feast on the beauty around you!
It's sad to lose Blair, but I hope he found an awesome job that gives him what he's looking for! Steve has done a fantastic job for his first video! It's obvious Loon has been and continues to be serious about having someone talented in that position! Good luck not crashing any drones Steve.....
Great start and great to see you all back! Constructive feedback: some of the edits felt a little choppy and the camera a little shaky. But all in all very excited to see you all back.
@Blair_vb You made a tremendous impact in the Yachting you tube algorithm with your work on this page, i hope you are proud of this achievement. Speaking on behalf of everyone, we will miss you, good luck on your next endeavor. Cheers! Also, Hi Steve!
Welcome Steve! Great job with your first Loon video. The only critique I have is that there was a lot of footage, especially of Captain Paul, that was flipped horizontally. With visible logos and text in the shots it was very distracting. Otherwise, amazing drone and underwater footage. Loved hearing from so many of the crew and seeing what they were up to. Best of luck with your new dream job! Glad to have Loon videos back.
This was an awesome video. Steve did a great job in filming and editing, as did Paul who always does excellent camera work am explaining what is going on. Good job crew top. This is one of my favorite videos now. Really great filming and drone work. People don't realize how hard that is to do, and the editing work. All top, notch.
Im new to the channel, as of 24 hours, but already enjoying it! Years ago in my younger days I worked on Yachts out of Bahia Mar, Ft Lauderdale. It was also a passion of mine and in lots of ways wish I stayed with it. Watching the Channel has reinvigorated that passion for Yachts and the Sea and seeing the comradery, synergy and positive culture of your crew is refreshing and fun to watch!
I was glad to see another video from the Loon. I was getting a little worried about y’all. Sorry to hear about Blair leaving. Looks like Steve is doing fine. Great video Steve.
As some people mentioned the editing is a bit choppy in places, cutting out voids in dialogue works well for when a person is not in view, but if you are looking at them it is not a good look. You can really notice this in the nighttime part with Captain Paul at the end there for example. I do like the cinematic shots being made, though they feel a little swift, a bit slower would work for something like a yacht specially when she is at anchor. Wish you the best of luck to integrate with the crew, which will no doubt help going forwards.
They've shown them in the past, but it's not common. The most obvious one coming to mind is the video where the guests were showing off the water toys.
Great to see you back Captain Paul and the wonderful crew, we wish Blair all the best! Can we catch up with the Head Chefs soon would be good to see what culinary delights that they are preparing for the Charter Guests. Welcome aboard Steve, big shoes to fill but hey good luck, the pressure is on 🛥️👍😇
Great to see you back again. Sorry to see Blair gone, but looks like Steve is doing a great job so far. You're diluting the South African contingent. 🇿🇦 I also see that you're currently anchored in Ensomhed Bay. Have a great one.
Sorry to see Blair leave without a goodnight 😕, welcome Steve you are with a great crew. Be careful of the video cuts it's a little distracting. You rock
I was wondering where you guys have been, but so glad to see you back!! Best of luck to Blair in his new endeavors! Welcome aboard Steve!! Great video!
Blair, best of luck if you see this. And welcome Steve, we expect big things! The first video looks amazing, color grading was great, the voice over volume needs to be higher IMO! :D
Welcome to MY Loon Steve, i look forward to seeing your content. I love your energy and ur kind nature shines through. All the best for your new adventure with MY Loon 🪿
Great video. I hope that there is a consistent number of videos coming out going forward as I have felt that the posting was not routine but more just when there was a video. I want more motor yacht loon!
I'm exited for new videos and the creative twist but I do hope the rest of the crew will be more involved in these videos, eg. Crew Ranking video ... Can't wait to see what MY/LOON has to offer.🌹
Steve, welcome to Sint Maarten! Feel free to walk over to Ty Art & Gifts in Simpson Bay. It a fabulous store where crew often shops and we can make you feel more at home. We welcome the entire Loon crew. Best to future endeavors, Blair.
I wondered what happened to Blair. His IG post was cryptic but I thought he was just going on vacation during down season. But we'll see what Steve can do. He sounds excited and that's awesome tomhave that energy, but can he do insane wind surfing tricks?
Comment policeman Clarke I guess. Will miss the Loon content. Started something special in the Industry. Blair you are a gem, never change! Afrikaners do it best. beste wense blair
Some changes that I’ve noticed between Blair’s edit and Steve is that Steve has cut the awkward moments between dialogues and creates transition very well! I do also notice quality change? Does the Loon provide their own gear for content creators to use or they bring their own? I notice some of the panning videos like 10:41 a little rough. Overall! Great video ♥️ We will definitely miss Blair but excited to see what Steve can do!
What an absolute wonderful surprise... MY Loon in my Tuesday YT feed. Welcome back guys and welcome aboard Steve!!! Great mix of crew shorts in this vid and still holding out for those shark dive vids from Sint Maarten... wink, wink. As always, well done all!!!
Boat life is hard for anyone, Blair will always be the OG that started it all. Good luck for his future endeavors. Steve has big shoes to fill. Get that DJI fund going again 😂😂.
Absolute great video navigating Loon through the bridge.....pretty daunting, but done very nicely ! Shame Blair has left however the video is as good as always !
Good to see the videos are back! Some feedback: your jump cuts are a little jarring. I would try to scale it back a little bit and give the story time to breath. Otherwise, loving the new content!

Who is Blair
what happened to him?
@@ThisIsGoogle He was the guy that did the videos filming and editing them doing the drone shots etc.
What is the GT of loon and do you have an unlimited license or up to 3000 GT?
To Steve: Welcome aboard! To Blair: You’ll be missed! “Fair winds and following seas!”
Blair did a great job and was nominated as 'Best Wingman/Woman' in a video so the crew liked him; I hope they embrace Steve equally. He obviously has talent as evidenced by this video!
Welcome onboard Steve! Stoked to have you with us. And PS this was an EPIC charter!
Hay what’s on the menu? Have asked Captain Paul to give your guys a go next episode as we done live you both ❤
Things I appreciated:
1. Captions when Cpt Paul was speaking
2. More shots from crew cameras
3. Time lapse of laundry
Solid video and great edits. I will miss Blair and look forward to seeing more of Steve’s personality and style.
who made you director? leave it to Big Bad Steve and Captain Paul
So Blair got that sales manager position at DJI drones then 😂
haha how did you know 😂
I thought he got head QA/Tester for DJI. He had great experience in all areas. lol!
@@BeachCA particularly the water proof testing 🤣
@@Alan-R1971 😂😂😂
Maybe Steve will lose less drones. 😂
Awww BLAIR!!!! 😢 wish him the best and welcome Steve! Sometimes I feel like part of the family and that I’m losing or missing them whenever someone leaves

Yes, these are great ideas!
Best of wishes to Blair! He has done such an amazing job. Congrats Steve on the new endeavor!
Steve is already smashing it ! I like his commentary. 🇬🇧
Steve you did a really nice ‘first job’! Really diverse, new type of footage and already a bit of your own style. Welcome and good luck!
Blair: big Thanks to you! All the best for you.
Welcome aboard Steve. Sorry to see Blair move on. I will say that I appreciate Steve showing each crew member's social media link on the screen.
It’s very helpful! I wish they still showed everyone’s roles cause I can never remember
Blair you will be missed 😪 Welcome Steve! Jump cuts when Paul is talking is a little intense, but nice video!
So great to see Captain Paul back leading the crew.... loved seeing and hearing more of the crew explaining explaining what they are doing... always educational.... Congratulations Steve on this new position as content creator... Very comfortable and easy to watch behind the camera 👏

I’m spoiled by Blair. Good video, a little jumpy. A great start! Best of luck!!
We were all spoilt, but i have total faith in Steve getting up to speed 🛥🥂

Putting guests faces in the video seems a new addition

Some guests are happy to be shown but understandably, not many. It;s nice of these ones to allow it.
I did not see any guests in the video. I saw a workers from the restaurant and crew members

We’ll miss you Blair but welcome Steve 🎉 Loved the content and more behind the scenes like the bakery and restaurant overview.
