Loved the way this video turned out. Steve is doing a great job bringing fresh energy to the content creation. Please remember to keep the comments positive as he learns and grows. We want to bring you the best possible videos.
If you haven’t already please head over to Instagram and give us a follow over there as we post lots of stories daily.
See you next week 🤙
I totally agree with you Paul. He's not Blair he's Steve who has a different style.
Good luck Steve.
Paul what's the betting the first drone landing in the sea, with Steve in charge?😂?
So happy to see you Steve! Thank you so much for all you do! Keep up the amazing work!
And you’ve come a long way as well, Captain Paul, in creating your own footage, especially on what’s happening on the bridge or when you join the guests in the water. I remember the early videos when other people would be the ones interviewing you, and honestly speaking, you sometimes didn’t look very comfortable doing it 😄 Now, there are sometimes sequence, e.g., in the bridge scene here where you mention that Steve is on the island with the guests, where I’m a bit surprised that it isn’t an official videographer doing the filming 😊
He is killing it! Fun and interesting choices and this is a from a filmmaker! He is making Loon look fantastic! STEVE YOUR AWESOME MY MAN!!! Keep shooting and expect the best!
I do not care for such comparisons being made . Steve is doing a marvellous job, making a great fist of his task and deserves all support .
Steve is doing a good job, It must be hard to step in after someone else started the filming and editing. Steve will get there very soon and again, he is doing a great job. Love your videos and content, can't wait till next weeks update.
Thank you!! We agree and can't wait for the future videos 🤙
Tyler yelling at the boys because of their dirty clothes is such a Dad move lol. He gently parented them with the "Maybe next time you guys get dirty, you should change your clothes first" haha
Tyler's job is not just the chief officer, but he's also boat dad, and moments like these are teaching moments for the boys 😂
Tyler is the XO. His job is to find and correct shortcomings. Because the when the Captain gives you advice, that usually is the last time you’ll get it. That’s part of the XO’s job. But the Captain he fires you! So Tyler’s advice should be taken to heart, if you like your job.
And a job on LOON has to be hard to get.
On the other hand, the boys got yelled at for doing boat maintenance, that you get dirty while doing. So a NO win situation for the kids.
Congratulations, Tristan on your yachtmaster certification 🎉
Paul. How encouraging it was to see you supporting Steve! Great leadership. Steve is engaging, warm and should be immensely proud of what he is producing….well done mate. 😊
Love your style Steve and don't shy away from making longer videos because we love the yacht, the crew and the views which means there's nothing boring about the whole thing haha.
I love the calmer energy Steve is bringing. It balances the other more hyper crew members. Chill vibes, epic drone shots, and new experiences? Yes please!
Welcome aboard steve, just be you
The ending is a perfect example of why Loon and Paul are a fantastic team. Paul asking for everyone to have patience with Steve is great. Everyone is quick to jump behind the keyboard and "take action with words" ... how about chilling out for a bit and let him "come into his own" with the position? Blair wasn't perfect but you could definitely he improved with each video. Steve will do the same. Cheers!
Thank you @jeff. We have complete confidence in Steve taking the Loon videos to the next level🙏
his footage was that of a pro photographer. Those drone shots, the beach scenes, the animals. Great
Thanks for the support and encouragement, Danny. We strongly believe Steve will kill it over time. He's doing amazing so far. Thanks for watching 🛥🥂
CAN WE GET MORE RADAR FOOTAGE!?!? I LOVE IT!
Radar Love! Google the song
No I was honestly thinking Steve has done an incredible job so far! I hope he's enjoying his job because he sure seems good at it!
Nothing wrong with videos as you transition. Open videos, see smiles and excitement.
Love the BTS! Please show us more of the broken vases, spilled cheese and dirty shirts. It’s the reality which makes us appreciate your perfect accommodations to guests even more! Great work crew!
Personally, these new angles and camera movements are so fresh and new, very well done steve
actually love stevez style.....a lot more personable, fresh breeze, fresh energy
We 100% agree 🛥🥂
Really liked the content of this episode, lots of short interactions with the crew at work which really makes a difference. I would suggest a gimbal and maybe a little less zooming in and out when close up with someone, a steadier view just makes for a little more comfortable viewing.
Cheers Steve, I’ve enjoyed the transition and I’m sure we’re going to enjoy what you guys have planned.
Thanks Steve. I preferred the editing on this one. Less jumpy cuts! Smooth is good! I am sure I could not do what you do, so just an armchair editor!
How cool, love seeing Necker Island and all the exotic animals (gorgeous birds, too)! Thank you so much for sharing as I sit in the scorching Texas heat, it’s currently hovering close to 100 degrees already and it’s just May (this summer’s forecast is for the hottest weather on record). 🌞❤️
Steve is a great presenter, very comfortable infront of the camera... Loving the different presentation of the content... and always enjoy the crew chats 😊
Whoops! Mind that Bridge!!
Knew that was coming 😳
Something the Baltimore bridge will Never be able to say..@@motoryachtloon
Steve is doing a great job, love the videos…..
And hunh? Tristan is a YachtMaster? What what what? Thought he was only capable for a dinghy! LOL
Congrats Tristan! Nice that this crew keeps moving up and expanding! Congrats again Tristan, this is awesome!
🛳🌊👋👏
Thanks for the comment. We encourage all the crew to keep improving and provide support in any way we can. We're all incredibly proud of Tristan getting his first captain's license, and he's already doing such a great job in the bigger tenders. 🛥🥂
Steve, you’re doing a great job
,I enjoy your Sunset shots and of the boats , Excellent work!!
The editing was much better this time. Less jumpy and way less jerky. Good job Steve 😊
Always learning always improving. We listened to all the comments from the last video and made some changes. Thank you for watching 🛥🥂
Excellent ! Steve is doing a very great job ! Thanks to all the crew !
I'm impressed by the consistency of style. Props to the Loon team for the support given to Steve. Can't wait for another live docking stream.
Thank @jaxar20. We'll hopefully do a live stream in the next few weeks. We haven't had any dockings in a while to stream. 🛥🥂
Thanks Steve for giving the crew more time to explain 🤙
Captain Paul, great job supporting your crew! Steve, great job on the video! Great name by the way!!! I love the Loon content and the crew is the best! You all rock!
He is so relaxed on camera which translates to great videos. Keep up the good work Steve
Good job on taking out some of the cuts, still a few too especially in the intro. But this is miles better than the previous video. I'm sure Steve will crush it over time🤙
Steve, you're class. I do miss Blair. You're doing a fine job filling the OGs shoes.
I really like the new style steve brings into the videos. like the timelapse of him walking the stairs up and down
For your second video, that's a heck of a good job, Steve. It was already a massive improvement on the first one. If you keep up this trajectory, you'll be the GOAT 🐐 in no time!
I must confess this video caused so much relaxation I truly felt i was part of the rock formation excursions! Excellent job! Thanks for sharing 😮
Thanks, Randy. We always appreciate your comments. Stay tuned next week for the final part of this three-part series. 🛥🥂
My favorite of Steve's is the drone shots of the Loon Yacht and the chase boat the sundown just off the side was gorgeous.
Thanks, Dean. What a great shot that was. That evening was fantastic, and we're glad we got to share it with you. Thanks for watching 🛥🥂
Steve this was a fantastic video and you didn't lose a drone. I like seeing Necker Island hopefully one of these days I can visit for real. I really like how you are your own person shooting video and explaining what we will be looking at. Keep them coming cheers
Steve is amazing!
love keeping up with Loon and the crew. One day soon I will join Nina in the Galley.
so happy to come along on the loon journeys and learn what all the staff do, I really like the tagging of the crew when they appear on the screen, Steve you are doing a great job with Loon and I look forward to seeing your future videos.
I already think Steve is tremendous. Coming in after Blair was always going to be tough, but Steve has hit the ground running. He's at a very high standard and will only get higher from here. Looking forward!
Good job everything looks great five Star …!
Loved being able to see Steve’s personality come through more in this video!
Steve is doing just fine. No issues here.
Love all the content. This is a seamless transition in my opinion, GREAT JOB STEVE!!!! What an awesome team and culture aboard Loon.
PS, Is there a drone loss challenge for Steve vs. Blair. @CaptPaulClarke I voting on Steve to win!
Haha, let's hope that Steve doesn't win this one 🛥🥂
Hey Rob, Thanks. besides a few weeks of downtime, we've tried to keep everything as smooth as possible. Stay tuned for some epic videos as we wind down our winter season in the Caribbean and start making our way across the pond back to the Mediterranean 🛥🥂
Great job, Steve! I love how you show each crew member's Instagram handle, allows us to follow our favorite crew members!

Great job Steve!
Steve does a great job! Thanks for keeping this going.
You're doing great Steve.
Good job Steve
He’s doing so well, still a joy to watch❤️
Coming along there, Steve. Cuts are still a bit short at times, usually the shots with music. Not sure if you're cutting the shot to a certain music timing to avoid copyright claim, but if that's the case, maybe there's a music service you Loon will buck-up and pay for so you can use longer shots without a take-down notice.
Cheers.
Steve is doing a great job, love his videos so far
Here we go Steve, Here we go!!! BOOM BOOM!!!
Great job Steve. I especially like the inclusion of the crew members Instagram handles. 👍👍
Love it! New style of videos!!

Dear Loon Team, I am really enjoying the new „energy“ that a new creative talent (Steve) brings. Like all great teams they thrive on new opportunities and expanding and developing people. See Tris and his yachtmaster certificate too. Well done, keep comparing yourselves to your own yesterday.. no one else.
Steve is killing it! Love following you guys.
Great work Steve! Keep it up!
another great video Steve! i loved the sunset drone footage!
Standard is great. You got it already Steve. Different style, which is very good. Very relaxed in front of camera.

Thanks, Mark. We love being able to share Necker Island with our guests. Stay tuned next week as we end this 3 part series 🛥🥂
Steve is doing a good job! Drone footage looks great. Maybe some more stability on some of vlog style shots would improve the flow of the already good content.
