Yeah, its tough out there for a Preservation sometimes (with randos being so far away). All I wanna do is breath on the DPS to keep them safe but sometimes its like they actively want to die. But by then its an easy decision for me. Enjoy your run back from the graveyard /shrug
oh, side note: a fun combo I like to do. Verdant Embrace -> Stasis -> Temporal Anomaly -> Dream Breath (now that it's been buffed because of the VE) -> Spiritbloom.

I never understood the “range issue” as devastation. I see the struggle now as preservation, I like the suggestion to rescue them in
Dev I never notice it until it’s PvP lol. Rescue is my best friend
Just got evoker to 80 never played preservation before been trying it out helpful tips with the combos understanding how and what goes together!

I will be playing resto shamam as my main as I have in DF atleast for prog with my guild. BUT, thanks to you I got the courage to try out preservation and OMG. I usually play all healers to some degree except holy paladin. Giving evoker a try cursed me. No other healer feels this fun for me to play. Now I feel guilty when playing my shammy main or any other healer alt. I just wanna go back to evoker every single time. For this reason I both love and hate the fact that I found your channel. Evoker healer is super fun to play. It can take some time to learn and understand it spachaly with the lower reng if you use to healers with more but when you understand more of it its alot of fun. I made a evoker cose the class look so dume but the more i learned the more i loved it now its my fave class😂 i still kinda shit att it
Boss fights like the last boss of Tirna Scithe and The Stonevault have been the bane of my existence as a Pres 😭. I find a lot of ranged players just don't understand our struggle and refuse to accommodate. At least in the lower keys I've been doing. Several times I've had them go in the complete opposite end from me or when I try to adjust, end up going behind me or something. I love Pres, definitely one of my favourite healers, but people unfamiliar with Pres healing make it difficult lol.

At 8:58 you say essence burst can help you with cleaving heal. What exactly do you mean by this? What is the ability you'd use with the essence burst to cleave heal?
A full echo! Because echo is an essence ability! So let’s say you sent out a leaping flames living flame, got an essence burst. Or you did a combo with TA and living flame or reversion. And then some damage came in, but you can echo one injured target and heal the second. Now it cost no mana and no essence because of the essence burst. Echo sets up easy cleave heals is all!
I came back to wow in late dragonflight and thot dam thay look so stuip but fuck it i gona try to make one. When i started it felt very boring but then i started understand the class more i learned more combos then found your youtube and learned even more. and now pres evoker is my fave class to play😂 its so unic and fun healer but still dont like the other 2 specs 😂
As an evoker main, I cant stand grouping with hunters in pugs purely because they are always 45 yards from the pack. I have to spec rescue and spam it until they get the memo

Would you say you should always have CoY applied before casting DB? Sometimes I'm setting up something else with my TA, but as soon as I've cast it I might realize I really should get DB out here, but it's too late to apply CoY. Should I just focus on preparing the CoY+DB better or would you still be fine with casting it on the half echoes in that situation?
So many factors here. If you don’t need VE for anything else yes! Stronger dream breaths especially for flame shaper! But sometimes you don’t have time or need something rolling now. Depends on your talents but it’s fine. For bigger heal checks you def want to prep one!
There are times I forget and I can still make the heal check happen even on beta when we were undergeared. So when you can, yes! If you need VE to cleave heal and then have a sad TA DB? It’s okay, but during like a real bad pulsing aoe phase always try and prep one!

The work i have to do as fistweaver monk just to do one moves worth of damage for pres is criminal 😭
Wait can you explain more? I’m having zero issues with damage on monk but it does hit less hard. Imagine if the highest HPS spec (mist) was also damaging as much as Pres lol. It’s probably for balance that mist hpal and disc hit less hard. But I do think mist needs a little more damage!
it is not your positioning, it is dps's positioning, how many times u see bm hunters and boomies who always try to max range each other lol.
Thats when you need to threaten their lifebars :3

Tbf there is nothing hard with Evoker. You only need to understand how the healing works and the rest is about the positioning of your team, not really yours.
Big agree, but I would say nothing hard. I’ve had a lot of new players struggle at first. But once you get it, it flows so nicely and is much easier than when you started for sure!
