But even that, that had its own limits that could be exploited by a drawn out fight. The Barbatos was and still is my favorite mobile suit in the entire Gundam franchise. I own the standard and Lupus Rex variants of the 1/100 scale models.

The ending broke my heart i wished i had never gotten so attached to some of those characters i know this feeling will disappear but the heartache still hurts

He basically screwed them over because he became arrogant. If they would have been less trusting of outsiders they could've made it but their pact with him sealed their fate because he underestimated gjallarhorn
Speaking of demons, it’s real interesting how the Gundams or at least mobile suits of the Calamity War all have names based on the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia. Including Barbatos. Makes me wonder what all the other lost ones looked like and were capable of. I wish the creator of this show would do some concept arts.

That's why I refer Gundam newbies to IBO as a starting point before suggesting taking the time to go through the UC gauntlet of Origin>MSG>Zeta>CCA>Unicorn. Of course, it doesn't hurt that IBO season 2 and Zeta are almost the same core story, except McGillis is Char instead of Quattro :)

I thought ' GUNDAM Build fighters 'was the first series I watched . But I saw this first that time I had zero idea What is it and it was cool . After long time I had zero idea again 🤣 I watched it and the characters were so familiar. 2:16 at this exact scene it was this series and it was the last episode of this series the spinoff is coming so I love to see it
some of the character interactions in this show felt generic af (Mikasuki and his miniature haram) but aside from that this show was amazing and the ending got me in tears every time.
When you think about it, the Va-whatever system (the system that makes using mobile suits intuitive to drive, I forgot the name, it's been so long 😅) is much more overpowered than we think. It's one thing to "feel" parts that we have in common with a mech, but it also made using the tail more intuitive 😮. You know, a body part that humans *don't* have 👀.
Iron blooded orphans was by far the most intense and heart breaking gundam series I've ever seen

This was one of the best Gundam shows. There was actual sacrifice and the MC was very unique.

ニュータイプでない少年を描いてるって言うコメントを書いてる人もいたけど、私的には阿頼耶識システムがこの作品におけるニュータイプの位置をになっているように感じる。厳密には強化人間の方が正しいけれど。
元々ガンダム含め多くのモビルスーツは自分の肉体ではなく操縦桿で操作する、言わば異物である。自分でない事なる何かを動かすわけだから遅延もするし、完全に自分の手足のようには動かない。だから先の行動を見れたり、思念を読んだりするようなことが出来るニュータイプという概念が提案された。
それに対しオルフェンズでは先の行動を見れたりするような事はしなかった。代わりに遅延や、操作感を無くすために直接神経を繋ぐという荒業に出た。
その点から考えてオルフェンズにおけるニュータイプ、また強化人間的立ち位置は阿頼耶識システムが相当すると言える。

精神を繋いでる阿頼耶識システムの設定上、機体であるバルバトスが逝けば、三日月の精神も逝ってしまう(既に顔以外の体ほぼ全体も逝ってる)から、制作側も〇すって言う選択肢とったんじゃないかな
精神死んで、体も動かない、そんな三日月を見てるクーデリアとかも病みかねないから、個人的には〇してよかったと思う(長文、個人的意見失礼しました。)
