This show didn’t pull any punches in the second season so many characters die just like that, even after you get build up and character development a character just dies like that. It makes you feel like this is truly war and anyone can die, McGillis’ death shocked me I thought he’d get to see his future. In the end it was the best Gundam series
The thing is, as good as his future was he only saw it with himself in charge of it and was willing to go to any lenght for it. That's what got him.
RIP Lofter, Shino, Akihiro, Hush, Orga, and Mika

Absolutely incredible, full of emotion and grit. The synchronisation between the music and the clips was something else. Truly great.

This was the first time I saw a Gundam anime not hold back in its themes, you actually feel like this is a war because anyone can die at any moment and each action has a consequence.
Tekkadan has got to be the most humanized faction in Gundam as well.

Fun fact: I've studied gundam fan wiki and there are only 3 protagonists who lost at the end of their stories:
Sven Cal Bayang, outmatched and defeated by Stargazers unorthodox abilities
Kou Uraki, who wasn't actualy defeated in MS combat but failed to stop Operation Stardust and the rise of Titans,

Mika did die but it was due to wounds from Dainsleif barrage and not from opponents strike, and althrough Barbatoses hands and tail were destroyed he was still on the offense before mika passed away and collapsed when his pilot died, and still had those legs, and all who watched IBO knew what Barbatoses feet can do. So, Mika never once lost in a MS duel. Respect 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

What happened to your On My Own Gundam Unicorn AMV? That was/is the greatest AMV I have ever seen. The transitions, editing, and overarching feel were/are nonpareil.
