@@ParagonGoetia the issue not with this fight secen but with the other stuff before. Also, making a direct hit is impossible from thousands of km above against a moving target. Moreover, it was obvious that they going to use that thunderbolt from above. There was 1.5 seconds delay for pilots like those 2 they can dodge it. A direct hit should be impossible. Moreover, as i said it was obvious and took too much time to do something. They should simply break up in 2 opposite directions on the flanks in a curve twist attackimg and following the retreating enemy unites being always close to them in mix of them and always on the move. That way it is impossible to hit. Add to that even if they get hit our Demon boy should still finsh them as that annoying blond girl get smashed and the rest would runaway and he would follow them and kill alot of them. It is as i said not just this fight but the stuff happened before it. What sup with all bad luck ladt mint they had manytimes over. It is illogical. What the heak with that made up lazy excuse that gets an injury in his hand ? The entire thing is like as if God is against them. That is what i mean the writer hates them their characters. It was forced they lost. It wasn't done in a convincing way.

@@ailediablo79 well it travelled at 1/3 the speed of light if you make the math between launch and contact. Even then, it was an ambush, they did not expect an orbital bormbardment. The dainself was made to be used by Gundams since only they could keep up with the Mobile armor. It may be innacurate in ocassion but with the right conditions for an ambush, it can deal a lot of damage. In conclusion Rustal Elion made the smart choice, furthermore showing why McGillis lost the battle

@@ParagonGoetia you addressed one point only. Also "did not expect orbital attack" that is stupid and unreasonable. Also 1/3 of the speed of light is bs. At best 50,000 × speed of sound. Do you understand what is 1/3 of speed of light and lunching at least a 1 tone of metal ? They should have been couting for it. Also soonest the enemy unites are retreating it should instantly tell them what is going and ,and do what i explained. If you read the rest you would understand we shouldn't be even there in that position, to begin with. The ending and defeat was enforced and stupid - it doesn't make sense.

@@ailediablo79 Orga was dumb, rash and wanted to reach his goal as soon as possible. Which was only further enforced by bisvuits death. McGillis, with who he made a deal, was a powerhungry man child that couod not let go due to his past. About speed I wrote incorrectly what I had, my bad. If you rewatch the scene, read the world and mechanics book 2, you'd know that it took over 1 second for the dainself attack to reach the surface from orbit. At the best case we are considering that it was only a difference of 10,000 km from ground. If we take the upper limit in Mars, it might be between 20k or 30k kilometers. Thats how we know that. Since the speed of light is around 300k Km/s, it would at least be traveling at 1/30 the speed of light at the best case, in the worst at 1/10. My bad there. Edit: On the side of "bad luck", its the roles being reversed. Look at what Tekkadan and McGillis were doing. They were forcing other under their thumb to make the changes they wanted. McGillis was on his way to becoming a dictactor and Tekkadan no longer fought for a cause like Kurdelias. They are still our protagonists turned villians. On the other side we had Rustal, introducing a democratic system in Ghjallahorn, giving Mars its independence and abolishing the Human Debris practice. He mightve been cruel and wanted power, but he did so accordingly. Gaelio was fighting for his lost comrades and in order to reveal McGillis bluff, in the way he learns the error of his ways and no longer sees those like human debris as less. Julieta is naive and hot headed, she never reached the talons of Mikazuki, in a way her journey is learning why Tekkadan fights, carrying on the lesson from knowing so as the new head of Gjallahorn. It also might explain why Mikazuki spares her life both in space and the final battle, as he ignores her for the most part during it. It gives us the message that Gundam as a franchise gives, violence should be used when needed but not be the first course of action, that good, lasting change, can only come by taking ones time and making things right.
