So Gibraltar has finally started issuing blue passport books that will make them stand out like a sore thump everywhere in the EU/Schengen Area… 😂
My pasport expired many years ago - but it has a stamp from Luxor Airport which was an experience... However despite being UK resident for all my life GOV.UK had no way of identifying me (for pension statement) because i have Paper driving licence no debts to create a credit ref etc. despite many tries over 2 years i had to resort to getting a passport just to ID me. To my suprise i had no problem with that - except finding a person with a valid passport that could verify my photo. All done now, just 1 thing you forgot (or not worth mentioning) My new pasport has BIO Metric Chip for ID. I just tested that with an APP and the chip did read some infomation..... (something about being a wanted person 😂)..... Kevin..

You explained to me a few days back about British and British-Gibraltarian citizenship and I thought I understood.
But in this video you said that alongside your British-Gibraltarian passport, you still have a red card.
Why?
Don't you already have full Gibraltarian status where you no longer need a residency card??

Hi Perry! I still have a blue card, waiting for the red one since August last year… I have a Gibraltarian passport but not Gibraltarian citizenship.

Interesting information as always. Does the red card you get after living in Gib for 5 years allow you to live in Spain and work in Gib? Thanks.
No, it just means no stamp in the passport at the Spanish border, otherwise no different to other residency cards.
@@JannaTravels Thanks, And would the new treaty include all residents including green, blue and green holders to live, work & study in the Schengen area including Spain? Very speculative question so would appreciate if you have any insight as you seem knowledgeable in this area.

To be honest I did it once at +35C, picked the best time of the hottest day 😂 so not sure if I wanted to go back again 😆

Жанна, как же это все сложно и запутанно :) У вас тоже есть очереди? Бюрократия непобедима. У тебя теперь три паспорта, включая российский? А вот этот новый, черный гибралтарский до какого года? И если ты поедешь в другую страну, например в путешествие, каким будешь пользоваться?
Теперь только два 🙂 старый аннулировали. Новый британский на 10 лет, но думаю не доживет, заштампуют опять весь 😂
